Their attention to detail and flexibility was incredible. Clearly the space is amazing, the old barn has a lovely air of warmth, and welcoming space . Such a beautiful venue and surrounding grounds! The layout of the barn is wonderful for a variety of events. The space upstairs and downstairs are both amazing. Lots of natural light due to all of the windows and lets a gentle breeze float through the barn. Simple elements such as willow trees and apple trees around the property, and an occasional chicken policing the grounds, make it all feel so natural. Laurie and Jason are wonderful genuine people who are have created a wonderful site for a variety of events; receptions ,weddings, corporate or family events. They were transparent and clear about the process, pricing, and space. They worked closely with all our vendors. Located just off of I-5, the Red Barn, has great parking, clean well maintained facilities and associated equipment (tables, chairs, etc.). This place looks nice. It has a nice selection of low comfortable chairs for reading or chatting…read more But for working it's not very good: - The chairs at the work tables are hard metal and uncomfortable. - Most tables are not within reach of an outlet. - The larger tables are slatted, so you need to bring a mouse pad. - The larger tables are blasted by AC. It feels like a refrigerator over there. - The work suitable tables are in the poorly lit areas, while the downstairs front areas with better lighting are dedicated to narrow high benches with virtually unusable tall metal chairs. In short, whoever did the interior design was thinking in visual terms and not about ergonomics. The latte was OK, not bad but nothing special. The music, when I was there, was insipid. OK if you like 2010s auto-tuned teen pop and country I suppose.

We initially walked in just to look at the menu, and everything sounded good enough that we decided to stay. It felt like a nice dinner restaurant, even though it wasn't very busy, which makes sense for a smaller town. Ray ordered the chef salad with blue cheese dressing and a bowl of French onion soup. I ordered the Thai chicken wings, and they were absolutely delicious. The sauce was full of flavor, and the wings were not skimpy at all--large, meaty, and very satisfying. There were about six wings, and I couldn't even finish them all. The French onion soup was impressive--not basic at all, with a more elevated, "fancy" flavor profile. The salad was fresh, crisp, and well prepared. You can definitely tell there's a good chef in the kitchen. Our server, Maria, was excellent--very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was very quiet ! If we ever pass through Chehalis again, this will definitely be a place we return to. Highly recommend giving it a try.
