This is the best food so far on a trip from out of state. Each of our meals were very enjoyable and reasonably sized (although if you're pondering the Reuben 1/2 sandwich for $15, go for the whole for $19; it was really good and not that big so the second half would've been welcome). The beet salad looked delicious and was declared tasty. Nice to see a modern/current take on cuisine done well. The service was prompt and professional. Bathrooms were clean.

I ordered ruff summer drink which I recommend. Very sweet and delicious. For the food I ordered mango habanero and the new blackened wings traditional style. The mango habanero was ok if you like sweet and tangy spice. I'd come back to try the burgers

All the food groups: dairy cheese, gravy, bacon, fat, vegetables, how could you go wrong? We happened to go here for a birthday drink shortly after it opened and found out it was bingo night. Then went weekly for a year! It was a lot more fun when Rick called bingo. There were people of all ages playing (18+) with one cash prize, and several certificates, T-shirts, etc.,back when it was free. We spent enough on food and drinks that it wasn't really "free" but cheap entertainment bringing friends together. Was a highlight destination while it lasted. Still go for the wings. Now it's pay bingo with cash prizes, but I find it less camaraderie anymore. I guess the person calling bingo made a huge difference.

Outdoor seating is for smokers so we chose to eat inside on a beautiful evening. Bottom line, it's a bar, not a restaurant. We visited for lunch and the restaurant was about half full. Our server however, was often nowhere to be found & we had to have the food runner attempt to help us on more than one occasion. Even then, we still seemingly couldn't get them to bring us plates for the cornbread. Trying to pay the tab took nearly 15 minutes of just trying to flag her down. My husband ordered their burger & the fries that initially came out with it were super undercooked. My shrimp po boy had a skewer inside the sandwich (not holding the bread together but running the length of the bread.) My mother in law did say her gumbo was amazing & their cornbread was delicious but I just don't think we'll be back, it really was nothing to rave about, even if they were just having an off day.

Very disappointed. Only 5 small chunks of shrimp. It also has a sort of poblano verde sauce or maybe a poblano Maque Choux without the corn. Lots of celery. And the small amount of rice. I didn't eat much of it, after the shrimp was gone it was just bad sauce. A wasted $21. The cornbread was nice with honey butter. We split the bread pudding for dinner and it is excellent - DON'T MISS IT! Service was excellent. Especially the bus boy / water refiller. P.S. They don't do anything for anniversaries.
