Wow. The French dip was the best I've ever had. The auju was out of bounds! Great service too! Highly recommend this place!

The Waleye was fabulous! The staff is friendly and attentive. The patio was just so nice with a great view!

The steaks were overcooked and tough. The French dip sandwich was not tasty and dry. Drinks are fine but improve your kitchen !!!!!

What a surprise to come across this gem. I came for dinner, and was seated ... anywhere I wanted to sit ... so I elected the big bay window overlooking the first tee. Yes my friends, this is the club house at the golf & country club...eh, golf course...!!! Nice lively club, fun to listen to the groups of golf buddies chatting. The club (19th hole) has a nice restaurant, buffet, and the sports bar with 5 or 6 TVs running and there is music playing. Comfortable, lively yet not so loud as to become annoying. The menu is diverse, having everything from sandwiches to steak, pastas to seafood, and a lot in between. The yelp reviews & tips provided me with some good guidance, advice...so I elected to try their famous bacon wrapped jalapenos, which were delish...a nice kick and flavorful. Then to follow I went with the hot pastrami with slaw on marbeled rye. Great flavor, meaty and very tasty. The sandwich come with your choice of fries, soup, salad etc. I went with todays soup. Equally as tasty. In fact my whole meal was fantastic...!!! If you play golf, this appears to be the hangout. I came here on a Wednesday night and the waitress told me the pastas were the special of the night. I ordered the seafood ravioli and it was great. Others in my group also added the salad bar for a dollar more, esp cause they wanted a popover. Anyways the place is easy to find and an ample amount of parking in their lot. Went upstairs to eat and the waitress took out order and the food came out pretty quickly for the amount of people already there for dinner. I didn't order any alcohol but the list of available beers was extensive. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. It's a great place to come and just hangout, not quiet but not too loud. The atmosphere is dim but perfect for socializing. I heard during the warmer months there's a patio and a good view. read more

I love the food here. Great sit-down meals, but also wonderful bar eats. The beer selection is absolutely amazing and I can't think of a better bar staff/liquor selection/wine selection in the area. I ate here last night with a big group of around 25 people. We reserved the table ahead of time and when we showed up, the tables were ready with the menus laid out. The waitress came to get our drink orders and right away. She was quick, super attentive, and displayed excellent customer service skills. She was dressed professionally and went above and beyond to get us everything we asked her for. The food was also excellent. I orders the Rooster Wrap with fries and it was delicious. It makes me wish I lived in the area so I could keep going back just for that meal. I ordered their house red wine which was also great. I wish I would have bought a bottle before I left. So not only does this place have great employees and tasty food, it also has a comforting atmosphere and clean, high end look. I can't wait to go back one day! read more

We just had dinner there. The service is terrible. We sat for awhile before anyone came over even though several wait staff were by the bar talking. Our food was not good, prime rib at 26$ was tough and pan fried walleye at 20$ was soft and mushy. Another member of our party had the batter fried walleye which they said was good. Our waiter did not come over once during our meal to see how our food was and we waited awhile for our check. read more

Tried the new brunch menu with the family. The food came out at different times, small portions and cold. Our family gave up coming to this place because the brunch buffet was bad and we now know the new brunch menu is par with the old brunch buffet. read more

We Drove in from Sartell because I wanted to take my parents somewhere nice. Big mistake. Probably the worst ribeye steak I have had in some time. It was so tough it was hard to chew. My wife's meal was supposed to be a butternut squash ravioli with a white wine sauce. The sauce was the consistency of a heavy mushroom gravy and was so infused with pepper that it was inedible. There is no way possible that we will be back nor could we ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. We had spoken to our server who seemed a little Put out by it. We were initially offered a discount on my wife's meal. A Discount on an inedible meal? Let me say it again, her meal was so doused in pepper it was inedible. We have eaten all over the country and have never seen a white wine sauce the consistency of gravy. It is supposed to be a light sauce that will complement the squash ravioli, not one that will over power it. In addition to the poor meal, We were one of only three parties in the whole restaurant and when we asked to be seated by the window we were pretty much ignored and proceeded to be seated by the kitchen. So by the time we received the check where your manager removed my wife's meal, the damage had been done. read more

Ok, My hubby and I showed up in jeans and nice shirts. We are not rich, but we do one spluge dinner a week and one brunch. When we came for dinner, there was no one to seat us, we found someone to finally wait on us. She was nice, but had no time for us cause she had tables of older people or others that looked like they had $$. Someone else brought out our food, my rare steak just stopped mooing about 5 min. before I got it and it was on a cold plate, not one that has the hot tray inside. I had to flag down the one that served our meal to get afew more minutes on my steak, gave me an eye-roll.. While my steak was back on the grill, our waitress, on her way to another table asked about our food. I had been in the food/bar service years ago, I never treated casually dressed people that rude, I'm a great tipper up to 20% and will tip the cook too. read more

Classiest place in Willmar to eat! Locally owned and operated, it's not a chain, these are unique dishes. Casual atmosphere, very accommodating to children (ice cream machine, Mickey Mouse pancakes!). New Sunday brunch menu is the best! read more

Was here on a Friday night with friends. Has the seafood ravioli... it claims to come with lobster and shrimp... well it had a few shrimp in a cold seafood sauce but no lobster of any kind. Friend had the same, had 1 piece of 'lobster' more akin to mock crab then lobster. Way expensive and more if you wanted a salad with it? It's my favorite restaurant in the Willmar/Spicer area. Always good menu options, made by great chefs. The updated restaurant is beautiful! We had our wedding reception there in 2016, and had an excellent experience. We received many compliments on the food! Used to be a good place to eat. Not any more! Last week I ordered a small steak for $14 and only got a tough little steak with one green bean with a few fried zucchini. No bread or even a dinner salad without paying an extra $3.50! Wow! Won't return or send any acquaintances there! read more
