I wish I'd found it on the first day! The coffee shop is adorable, clean, and has side rooms for meetings or Bible studies. The barista was friendly and the service was quick. I ordered a mocha and it was way better than Starbucks and less expensive. They had multiple options and food which I did not try. If I've ever back in the area. This will be my go to coffee spot.

It is nice, clean and homey with a rustic cabin feel. If you want luxury hotel type accommodations, look elsewhere. There is a shallow entry swimming sand beach with free paddle boards, canoes, kayaks all available for anyone to use. They have a water trampoline and a water slide that the kids love. All of the cabins are very close or directly on the shore with a beautiful view. They can coordinate pontoon or boat rental. The large cabin has its own fire pit, otherwise there is a shared fire pit for use. They even have wood chopped and ready for you to use! Owners are passionate about creating a great experience for guests. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a laid back, quiet, relaxing experience.

It was nice having a couch and chairs that I could relax on rather than just having to sit on the bed. The odd thing to me, however, was that there's no closet and no great place to put your luggage. I think even a freestanding luggage rack would go a long way. They did have someplace to hang your clothes, but I do prefer an enclosed closet to cut down a clutter. I ended up putting my suitcase on a table. The breakfast selection was good. Very similar to other hotels like it. My biggest disappointment is that the associated restaurant is no longer open. It would be nice to wind down the evening with a glass of wine and a snack, but you can't have everything.

It was small but they took full advantage of it and the hot tub too. Our unit was perfectly clean and had everything we needed (microwave, oven, dishwasher, TVs with DVD and VHS) and the management was very sweet when we were in the pool too late because I thought it was an hour earlier than it was. And did I mention it was cheap because we were there off season? A great affordable spring break week!
