This is for added income for the VFW. The catering side is what my family rented to throw a surprise birthday party for my Aunt. The room itself is very clean and large. It has a nice hardwood dance floor and commercial carpeting around the exterior. They have nice metal chairs with red soft cushions. The AC in the room is very comfortable and the room is well lit. This was a nice spot my family picked out. Also not to toot my family's cooking but the food was incredible! Sorry, you can't get it anywhere else, so this review is about the building and not my family's cooking. If you want to have a small family gathering this might be a good idea. Just ask my family to cater for you.

Parking is very small, but not that many people come and go when I go. Admission is $15. Why the low rating you ask? When I did this a year ago, they had you wait in the lobby and gave you a guided tour and explained things, made you hold a snake, and gave you items to hold and touch that aren't part of the free for all it is now. I asked if they can do the guided tour, and we were told they have staff along the way to answer questions...not one human in site! So unfortunate, you guys really need that element back! By the way, I kind of feel bad for the goat that has his pen right next to the trex as big as a house...I've seen Jurassic Park, they are not besties. I'm sure that goat staring him down all day is scared for his life. :(

We've been coming here for the past month and have generally enjoyed bowling here, especially the…read more$19.99 unlimited bowling special. It's a great value, and the location is very convenient for us. Unfortunately, our last experience was frustrating. We were bowling next to two people who repeatedly approached and released their balls at the same time we were bowling. The man in particular would step onto the approach while I was preparing to bowl, which was distracting and made it difficult to concentrate. They also seemed unfamiliar with basic bowling etiquette. I eventually spoke with him politely and explained that the bowler on the adjacent lane should wait until the person who is already up has finished. Before doing that, however, we went to the front desk and asked if we could simply switch lanes. We were told there wasn't a lane available and that, because these weren't league bowlers, the staff wasn't going to enforce league etiquette. I understand that open bowling is different from league play, but basic courtesy between adjacent lanes should still matter. What was particularly frustrating was that after we had requested a lane change, the other couple apparently requested one and was given another lane. So the customers who had originally asked to move because of the problem were not accommodated, while the other customers were. We've had good experiences here otherwise, which is why this was disappointing. We don't expect staff to police every little thing during open bowling, but when customers are interfering with each other's turns, there should be some reasonable way for staff to help resolve the situation. If a lane becomes available, it seems fair that the customers who requested the change first should be given priority. We still like the alley and the value, but I hope management will take a look at how situations like this are handled during open bowling.

I decided to do pottery painting, and I loved how many options there were (like 100+). After selecting your piece, you go over to the paint supplies where someone will help you pour paint onto a little card (you can go back to request more paint when you run out). Each table has a sponge, bowl of water, multiple brushes (and a dot tool) as well as a paper placemat. We ended up staying for about two hours and found the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was also very nice and helpful including getting us a dropper tool in order to do finer details. We paid at the end ($8 per person plus the cost of your pottery piece), and provided contact info to pick up our pieces after 1 week. Would def recommend coming here!
