This place caught me by surprise. Bingo has come a long way since I last played. My mom and I spent the afternoon here. She has made wonderful connections and enjoys the community of regulars. This is a great bingo hall! While I am no pro bingo-er, I've definitely played bingo more than a handful of times... it had been some time since the last time I played and getting back into the game, it was a little confusing on which cards are for which games etc. The staff is really cool, they do their best to help you out, but my advice is to sit near someone who looks like they know what they're doing and seems friendly. So they can't explain the difference between all the games.... jacks, mega, diamond, green, orange special etc. I'd definitely go back! read more

The leadership here has NO CONTROL of its patrons. It seems they fail to realize this is a legal gambling establishment not a playground for adults. The folks here are SO LOUD and RUDE! I would advise you not to go there to play because you cannot hear anything that is going on. There are many disagreements that can lead to serious altercations. I was really shocked to see a bingo hall that is run like this one. I have NO desire to visit this place again!! read more

It's hard to figure information before getting there, but once you're there everyone is super friendly and helpful. It's a fun time amongst good people. You'll go in thinking to be there for a short while and end up spending your whole night there. It's our new Sunday spot. read more

I took my Mom here last night for the first time. It's been 11 years since she played Bingo in NYC. She was a local in The Bronx at 231st Broadway & Whiteplains. Since we relocated to Queens, we decide to do some Bingo hopping. She really enjoyed Top Bingo in Jamaica allot. She also met an old acquaintance who worked at the White plains Bingo hall too, which was nice. I bet lots of people know Mario. The crowd was great for a Friday night, not too packed. You get 4 Bingo boards, 1set of Bingo sheets various color and a raffle ticket with a $2 admission. The rest, you would have to purchase (reasonable prices) with some good luck! They also have computers and I saw some tablets too for those who prefer digital rather than paper. Some people play both paper and digital. It was my first time playing and I had help from people sharing the table and especially my mom. People are friendly and helpful here. Staffs were great and supportive. Mr. Concession man sure serves good food and has quite a good memory. There must have been 5 or 6 people waiting to order and talk about multi tasking..."He was the man". Overall, we had a great time. I had beginners luck and won full card twice along with others. I would definitely recommend Top Bingo to all Bingo-holics. The only downside... some people were still smoking in the hall. They are not supposed to but they do. I wish the NO Smoking Rule was enforced a bit more as I have allergies and don't want cancer from second hand smoke. read more

BINGO lol, who honestly likes to play bingo? I came here with my friends for a night out tryna get laid and within 15 minutes of being in this bingo hall I genuinely wanted to kill myself. Had a wonderful time at Top Hall Bingo. Staff was super friendly and helpful to our group of novice bingo players. It was a little crowded as we went on a Sunday even but we had a great experience. Lots of screens set up all around so you can see if not hear the next numbers up. As a matter of fact, upon seeing one of our group falling behind, one of the staff actually helped her to catch up and then stayed close to help us all out, not sure if her name was Vickey or Mickey but she was great. Also got help from lovely bingo expert lady sitting at our table. Will definitely be going back again soon..... read more

I visited Top Bingo Hall about a week ago and had a great night! It was my first time ever going to a Bingo hall so I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival, the staff there was very helpful with explaining what each round of Bingo was and which card I needed for which game. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly...even the Bingo players. The night lasted from 7-10:30 pm. The numbers were called at a good pace and there were screens all around the room to double check what numbers were called. Throughout the entire night the staff was constantly checking up and seeing how I was doing. It was a really great experience. I definitely plan on returning. read more

This place was a delight. Loved it, loved everything about it. I almost thought the reviews were embellished because they were all so glorious, but after visiting on a Friday night with my sister, I can understand. The staff, the concessions, even the other patrons, truly a fun, awesome time, and just as many other reviewers had said, they were SO accommodating and helpful to us being newbies. Wanted to do something new for the New Year, so I went with a friend to Tops Bingo Hall, i had a great time, lots of fun and exciting people, great food, and made some decent money, yes I won! Looking forward to more cool nights, convenient location, bus, train, or LIRR, Jamaica Avenue and 220th St., great food, and nice crowds, with big jackpots, great combination they have. worst bingo hall i've ever played in. first bingo hall that i ever played in that did not provide a program. game started earlier then what was posted on line. place is a joke. the snack bar was just disgusting. i've been playing bingo for decades. would not consider going back to this place if you paid me. read more

I've been in NY four times in the last year and each time I've taken a bus or the LIRR to play Bingo at this Hall. One would think I'd have good luck being from out of town but Noooooooo. I appreciate that they have electronic machines but also have the manual version of playing as well. Glad there's a food counter offering many choices of foods and snacks. I actually plan my trip dates to include a day I can go play here. Going back again in September! read more

went their one night with my daughter as my mom use to play their in the 70's. we were home on a trip thought we'd go. will never go back. time they start very confusing. arrived 10 mins prior to game start and they were already started. food was horrible not eatable.no paper guidelines to let you know what game you are playing on what kind of card. if not for nice customer sitting next to us, we wouldn't of known what to play was really disappointing dirty and dingy looking. not at all enjoyable. waste of time and money. read more
