Had an amazing time. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They all have very bubbly personalities and make the experience better. There is a nice variety of food and drinks. The instructor was patient and kept the class vibrant and fun. The class I attended had a huge variety of people from kids to late adults, parents with kids, people on dates, groups of friends, mother-daughters, etc. It was an overall wonderful experience. I plan to return in the near future. I highly recommend this location. read more

Muse Paintbar - Garden City - Paint & Sip Near Me - Garden City, New York

Muse Paintbar is hands down one of my favorite places to unwind and have fun. It's a paint and sip studio that perfectly blends creativity and relaxation, making it a fantastic spot for a date night or even just a solo outing. The vibe is always upbeat and welcoming, and there's something special about painting with a drink in hand that instantly melts away the stress of the week. Whether you're going with someone special or flying solo, the experience always feels memorable. One of the things that makes Muse Paintbar so enjoyable is the fact that you can order snacks and alcohol while you paint. A cup of wine or a fun cocktail paired with some light bites really sets the mood and adds to the overall fun. If you really had a rough day they even over you the bottle. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and it's the perfect setting to just let loose, be creative, and enjoy the moment. I've come here quite a few times now, not just for the social aspect, but because the experience itself is so refreshing and therapeutic. I used to be a bit of an artist when I was younger, but it's been years since I last picked up a brush. Coming to Muse reignited that creative spark in me in the most unexpected way. The sessions are guided, and the staff is absolutely amazing--they're friendly, encouraging, and really great at teaching techniques in a way that's easy to follow, even if you haven't painted in years. They make everyone feel like they can create something beautiful, no matter their skill level. There's such a unique and uplifting vibe here--it's hard to explain unless you've experienced it yourself. Between the music, the laughter, the creativity, and the community feel, it really is something special. Every time I come, I leave feeling a little lighter, a little happier, and a lot more inspired. It's the kind of thing I hope I'll be doing for years to come, even when I'm old and gray. Honestly, Muse Paintbar has given me some of the funnest, most fulfilling experiences I've had in years. It's not just about painting--it's about reconnecting with a part of yourself that often gets buried under daily life. Whether you're an artist or just looking for a good time, this place delivers every single time. read more

The location is ideal for those looking to enjoy a full experience with dinner either before or after the painting session. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to choose from. There is a parking space just around the corner from the main street. Paintbar offers both couples' and individual painting experiences, which was perfect for our group. The staff is friendly and attentive. Every step of the process is well-coordinated and easy to follow, and they are responsive to your needs, coming over to offer assistance when necessary. Additionally, the venue includes a minibar with snacks available to share. Overall, I believe this is a fantastic way to spend time together, create lasting memories, and take home a unique piece of art to remember the experience by. read more

It was an amazing environment & very well taken care of 10/10 would recommend. Good for all ages & birthday parties

This place is a total class act. Plenty of parking and a super friendly staff that was so patient with a group of five and six year old children. We were invited to spend a few hours to attend a birthday party for some close friends and we had a good time watching the little ones plying their new craft. It was super organized and Maya (spelling?) was a saint with all of the children and did a great job keeping them focused. They have wine and beer for purchase and literally hundreds of paintings to choose from as a starter example. Step by step instructions and did I mention patience? Whether you have a smaller or larger group of kids or adults, you can plan on having a good time. read more

Had a great time here on a Friday night with my boyfriend. We signed up for the tranquil lakeside a couple of hours beforehand. Kiernan was the instructor and she was wonderful. We finished in about 2 hours, at times it was a bit fast, but overall, enough time to complete our paintings. The kitchen was closed so I wasn't able to order any snacks but they allowed us to buy snacks from the outside. It was a very enjoyable experience! Thanks for the great time! read more

I've done two other paint nights elsewhere and this was by far the best one! Dana was the instructor and Eddie was serving food and drinks and made sure everyone was content! The atmosphere, music, and step by step directions was perfect. As someone who isn't that artistic, this was such a fun night out and I can't say the pictures came out too bad ;). Check out the schedueles online as there are so many pictures and days to chose from! Thank you Dana for being a great instructor. We had the best time at paint your pet ! Instructors were great, it was very fun. Cool music playing, I would go every week if I could !!!

First time going to this location. We were late to our session but the instructor was just covering the mixing paint techniques. I had to call their main line because that is the only number available, three times and then left a message to let them know we will be late. Someone eventually calls us back and said it would be okay and we wouldn't miss our session. The table set ups are horrible, like why would you have chairs with the backs facing the instructor ?? So then you have to turn with the Canvas in your hands and paint at the same time! Also the Canvases are so small ; 11x14 is comical compared to other places we been to and for $40 seems like a rip off. The instructor was moving at lighting speed. Lastly, the classroom we sat in was in the same room as where they have the bar and kitchen to purchase. Mad rush came in half way through our class and we couldn't hear the instructor at all while we sat in the back. Do not recommend. read more

I had planned to do my birthday there. Had a group of 10 friends coming. They didn't have a private room available which was fine. We decided to do regular session. However, they canceled two hours before. No call. Just a text. And are not picking up the phone. You can book there but know they can cancel right before without any explanation and even a phone call. read more

Muse is an amazing paint and sip space with a cool flair! The space is decorated with so many different art pieces and some of the pieces are for sale which I think is great. The staff is nice and very accommodating,They make sure to give you clear directions of seating ,coat placement & food/beverage options at check in.The instructors are knowledgable artists and are patient as groups can vary in ages. The instructors also have a playlist going which makes the session that much more enjoyable! I celebrated two birthdays in a row here because it's that awesome! Please be sure to follow CDC guidelines in regards to COVID and please do not visit if you or someone in your party does not feel well. I love Paint Night! I've never been to Muse Paintbar but I'm so happy that I did. It was such a wonderful experience! My sister and I took our mom there as her Mother's Day present and we all had such a great time. The space is large and the ambiance is so upbeat and fun! We had a teriffic instructor (Eddie Pons) who was just amazing beyond words. Eddie was super energetic and so upbeat that the entire room was feeding off of his positive vibes. A really cool graffiti artist, Eddie led us through the session with such great instructions and encouragement that even those who've never painted were able to create beautiful art. There was also the option to buy art from other sessions and from the instructors themselves. The food wasn't too bad and was the average food you'd expect: wings, mozzarella sticks, pretzel bites, hummus, etc. But they were great little snacks. The drinks were decent as well. They had a Mother's Day special for drinks and food. Overall, it was a great experience, even more so because of our teriffic instructor! If you're looking for a fun activity, give paint night at Muse a try. And, if you want to make it even more fun, try to get Eddie as an instructor! read more

Great Experience definitely would come back again! The staff was fantastic and bar made great drinks.

Best sleeper surprise. Who knew that this would be the best fam activity for a wedding anniversary. It leveled the field since it was all completely new to all of us. The anniversary celebrants could not believe that they created such special pieces of art. Kate was amazing as she explained step by step. There bar was flowing with beverages. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we brought our own snacks. They had more than ample supplies and had an assistant going around to provide any extra support. We painted a beautiful mountain w sunset views. Now i look at clouds differently. Highly recommend if you want to do something different with a group. Endless parking. read more

This place is great! I took my daughter (11) and she was able to keep up with the instructions. I really appreciated him making her feel like she fit in with the adults. Definitely recommend for a fun afternoon/evening. read more

Great location. I have come here a few times and enjoyed every experience. Loud music, nice drinks, overall a fun time! I specifically recommend and love booking a class with Eddie. He is a beacon of knowledge in terms of painting, and I really love how he explains concepts in general. I think these classes are an excellent way for people to get their feet wet in the realm of painting while having a great time. The ambiance is pleasant, it is a very enjoyable and positive experience no matter what your level is whether it being 0 or 100. No matter what you can take away something from the class. He has mentioned that he works with children and promotes art as a way to improve their mental health~ I personally find the experience very therapeutic. read more

Such a fun experience and always love coming back! I absolutely adore this place ! It's such a fun place to go with your friends and family! The environment is always lively & the artists are patient, kind and cheerful. They have several locations but I enjoy coming to the garden city studio. To book, you go on the website, select the studio that you would go to ( I recommend this location ) and you choose the painting from the calendar! The paintings are always beautiful and they have kid-friendly options as well. They of course have drinks and appetizers while you create your master piece. The food does take a while for them to heat up / make, but besides that it was very tasty and delicious! I booked here years ago for a birthday celebration of mine and it was amazing ! Everyone had a blast & the artist was generous and even gifted me her painting she used as the step by step tutorial painting. Highly recommend this cool spot for date night, girls night, or family fun activity! read more

Super happy that I didn't have to go into the city for some paint & sip. They also have a large parking lot in the back with lots of trendy restaurants nearby. I made a reservation for 2 on a Friday night, and had a good time with our instructor, Eddie. There were times when I felt a little bit rushed, but overall it was a laidback experience. The bar had little snacks which I didn't get to try, and different drinks that were on the pricier end. They have a really easy to maneuver website and occasional special discounts. It was entertaining, well coordinated, a joy to create and sip wine which made my skills heighten

Came here for my first painting class experience, and it was definitely a fun one! We absolutely loved our instructor, though the abstract nature of the painting didn't provide us with much opportunity for clear directions - as a very very inexperienced painter, I could have used much more structured demos and instructions on how to achieve the goal of the painting. Drinks and food were expensive, but that's to be expected. Overall, would definitely come back. read more

Eddie, the instructor was by far my favorite instructor I've had at a paint and sip. He had a lot of energy and gave very specific directions. Our family also enjoyed his playlist. The food options were comparable to a common bar and they had a a variety of pre-made cocktails. The staff took time to go around and assist everyone as we painted both to take orders and give painting tips. We would definitely come back again! read more

I came here with my girls for a ladies night and I had an incredible time. It was such a nice experience doing something out of the box for a change. Our instructor was Amanda and she was fantastic. She was very attentive and very nice. Also, Lexi and Alvin were so nice. They were very accommodating and provided great customer service. Alvin took our group pictures which was greatly appreciated. The food and drinks were so good. Lexi made my mixed drink so well. The place was clean and social distancing was observed. They have private events which is a good idea for a big group of people. They also have a parking lot and it is conveniently located on Franklin Avenue. I would definitely come back. Great experience! Its funny to let your inner artist come out. Muse Paintbar - Garden City - Paint & Sip Near Me - Garden City, New York

I have been wanting to come here for YEARS but none of my friends ever wanted to go, so that's why I made new friends who DID! Lol Registering for a class is simple: you go on their website and select the location closest to you. After you pick your desired location, you are presented with a class schedule and the painting associated with it. They offer A LOT of classes, which is great. I'm sure anyone can find a time that works with their schedule. My friends and I were pretty flexible so we decided to choose based on the painting. We narrowed it down to the butterfly painting or the elephant. We ended up going with the butterfly b/c that class was sooner (the following week) whereas the elephant class was weeks away. Most classes are $35 per person, tax included. The entire group does not need to book together at once, everyone can book separately however, the first person who books, must send their reservation link to everyone in their group in order to be seated together. Muse is located on Franklin Ave, right next door to Revel Restaurant. There is a huge parking lot in the back, so parking won't be an issue. Their doors open an hour before class time and you can order some drinks or food and just settle in. I arrived 30 minutes before my class and my friend and I started walking around and looking at all the paintings hung up in the main room. Two guys welcomed us and asked if this was our first class. After chatting for a bit, we came to the realization that we were not registered for the class in the main room but for a smaller class in the back room. The guys teaching that class seemed really fun and nice, I want to say their names were Jason & Alvin but I could be wrong. So make sure you double check if you are in the correct room since they hold multiple classes at once. After finding our correct classroom, we went back to the main room to purchase drinks and food. The bar is located in the back of the main studio. There wasn't much of a selection: wine, soft drinks, pretzels, mozzarella sticks - you get the idea. Alvin was working the bar and when I asked about the sangria, he offered me a sample to try before I committed to a glass. I ended up getting a Prosecco and pretzels. I only had 4 people in my group so we had one entire table to ourselves. My instructor was Grace and she was very pleasant. Grace was very thorough and explained each step along the way. If you want additional food or drinks in the middle of class, you can scan a QR code on your table and order the food directly from your seat. I did order a bottle of Moscato later on but skipped on food. When class was over, Grace asked if there was anyone celebrating a birthday and one woman raised her hand. Grace then let her choose one painting from the studio collection for her to take home, which I thought was cute. Overall I had a great time. One of my friends was trying to flex on me all night with her painting skills but my less than perfect painting has character and some war scars. Pro-tip: be very careful with your brush. I kept getting random strokes of paint on my painting by accident. But if that does happen, just use a matching color and blend it out. This might be easier for the ladies since we know how to use concealer and how to blend our makeup. I would definitely come again! I saw they also had some Disney paintings, like Maleficent, my favorite villain of all time, which I would love to paint. I hope in the future they also have a full bar and more food too. read more

I've been here twice and am going a third time soon! (It is already booked!) I bring/have brought my friends and family here. It's always a fun and new experience. From the parking lot one can access the rear entrance. Visible from there are some "rooms" w/ easels - they're mainly used for private parties. If you have 10 or was it 12 ppl minimum, you can book/reserve one of those. As you continue further down, there hallway veers to the left and there's a corridor w/ bathrooms to the left, a mess sink straight ahead, and the main painting studio to the right. The main painting studio is much larger than the two party rooms. There are aprons on the wall that leads up to the bar. The main entrance (Franklin/Mineola) goes into the large painting studio. There is a stage at the middle of the space opposite the bar. This is where the instructor does their thing. Classes are always welcoming, humorous, and fun. Admission is usually $35.00 per class, which also gives you a free drink (either: house red or white or anything from the top shelf). Their house red wine is good, and their top shelf bloobzbeer is tasty too. So far, I've been too cheap to buy any eats (they have snacks) and anything not on the top shelf. Definitely try out one of their classes if you have the chance! Happy paints! read more

Came here with a group of girlfriends for a paint class on a Sunday afternoon! Its conveniently located in Garden City and surrounded by cute coffee shops and restaurants if you want to eat before or after the class. When you come in there's a bunch of tables already set up with your reservation name. You make the reservation online and choose which class you want. You get to preview what the painting will be before hand. Also to your right when you walk in is a bar with cocktails available for purchase if you choose to. Our instructors were super helpful and constantly slowed down during the pain to give special pointers and tips on how to smoothly draw more difficult objects. The class was pretty packed. They do have a private session for parties and events which I think is really cool to do with friends! Pricing is super reasonable, and its a fun activity to do with friends or family!
