Professor "Buiu" and the phenomenal instructors they have teach more than just great technique, but also ensuring the Bushido code is instilled in literally every teammate which is very rare to find. Ego's are left at the door, everyone treats each other like family, and there are multiple world class champions training here everyday. It's the top dojo dominating the South Florida BJJ community. The teens and kids programs are unparalleled and safety and discipline are of prime focus. It's like night and day seeing your game improve day by day. I've been training at CG miami for only a year and a half, and I can easily say this is the best investment I've ever made in my life. This gym, our professor "Buiu", teammates, and instructors, have helped create so much of my own personal growth and Jiu Jitsu has transcended my life in ways words cannot express. I'm eternally grateful to everyone at this gym, it's more than just a dojo--it's family.

I offered to pay whatever, and they were pumped that we reached out and wanted to roll on vacation, so they let us train for free for a class. They were all very friendly and the instructor was fantastic - encouraging and very detailed in the instructions. We felt very welcome here. They have great kid's instruction programs, so I definitely recommend this place if you are considering BJJ for your kid, regardless of age.

While I can't comment about the Kids area (my daughter is old enough and I don't need this really from any gym anymore), I've attended several of their classes and they are great. They are challenging and the gym itself has kind of a young and hip vibe (won't make me feel like I'm attending an older person's gym), the staff working here are friendly and attentive, everything is very clean. When I signed up, I went for the membership option that gives you a MyZone Belt with the membership. It's pretty cool because when you're working out, you wear this belt and it keeps track of your heart rate and how many calories you burn while doing your workout. I use this as motivation for working out. Ample parking, gym is never fully packed, etc. This place is a lot more than a fighting gym and can be used as just a normal gym. But your workouts can take an interesting twist with the MMA fighting. I've come to really like this place, I'm so happy that they have improved over time!

We keep seeing someone named Michaela T who is a "business manger" giving some sub par comment such as "Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention." No, it's not "one "persons experience, it's a FACT, especially with the quantity of similar comments and yet nothing is being done about. The gym has potential and it comes up short. The fact that this gym is still in business is astonishing

I have been to a few different crossfit boxes and by far this is the nicest one. Price is right as well. If your looking to get in shape and you work or live in the area I highly recommend Brink!

I'm new to the CrossFit world, but I'm no stranger to working out. I've done Muay Thai, Krav Maga,…read moretons of bag work, basic gym membership stuff with machines and a variety of classes (cycle, Pilates, yoga, etc). THIS work out has by far made me the most excited to go to,... I mean... I can drop my bar here?? With weights... On the floor?? And I won't get in trouble? Lol. I know, that's silly, but after two months of being careful not to drop my bar, I'm now learning it's ok for the sake of the completion of a movement. Sweet!! Makes me feel a little bad ass when I hear the heavy weights fall too. Haha. But back to the workout and gym... I can definitely say I have the CrossFit bug! I was slightly unsure of it for years and never understood the "kipping" thing, but I get it now. I feel stronger and stronger every week, shoot... Sometimes the next day. But I know it's not only because of my own motivation. The instructors are solid. They take their time to make sure everyone focuses on their form and doesn't get hurt; from the rookies like myself to the people who have done CrossFit for years. We are all still learning on some level and that's a great feeling. They know when you can kick it up a notch and fully understand if you need to modify to prevent injury. The overall cleanliness of the gym is... Well... It's a gym... There's gonna be some sweat here and there. People are good about putting away their stuff after using them and the only thing you may notice here and there is the little pieces that shed off of the rope when they're being used. Their website is always up to date providing your results for reference and giving you the next day's workout at midnight. Their email communication is great too! They aren't spammy but still keep us all informed. And finally... Even when the classes are big, there's always enough space and enough equipment for everyone. Thanks to my Mr for introducing me to the place and thank you to the whole Brink Nation for keeping me eager for another WOD!

From having confidence in my ability to defend myself to how to engage with my coworkers and students, or be a dad, there is something to be learned from karate for every area of your life. Fast-forward to today and I, my (now 20 year old daughter), my son (14), and my baby (6) all are students. This place is a second home for us; I even met my husband at the dojo. Over the years I have seen so many people entrust their children to this place and all because of one thing, the Sensei (teacher). This dojo, through its Sensei and other senior practitioners, offers something many other dojo's do not, a true understanding and love for the martial art of karate. They pass this on to the students. OGKI is about more than punching and kicking. At OGKI students receive more than just basic martial arts instruction. They also get philosophy, history, forms, fighting skills, social skills, and will gain self awareness. There are two classes, children and teen/adults. All classes meet Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The kids' class is an intro to karate and intgrates basics with conditioning and a lot of fun. Most of the kids seem to love it. The adult class brings all of these skills together. It is noteworthy to add that you can totally start as an adult. I started at age 32, and am fine! Overall I highly recommend this dojo for anyone looking for traditional Okinawan Karate. You won't regret it.
