After an easy take home test, it was discovered that I had Sleep Apnea. The device that he recommended has been a major help in me getting a restful night's sleep and back to sanity. Chad Denman, DDS, and his team of sleep specialists screen, diagnose, educate, and treat snoring, sleep apnea, and other sleep disorders like insomnia. Before seeing a patient, the team of sleep specialists have them complete a health screening tool, which accurately identifies if the patient is suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). OSA is disruptive and can be fatal in some circumstances. They talk to their patients about their diagnosis and treatment choices -- like continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, oral appliance therapy, and surgery -- then decide which would make the best choice for them. If the team needs more information to diagnose their patient's sleep problems, they use the innovative home sleep testing tool WatchPAT™ One.  They also have each patient download the SnoreLab app so that the team knows when their patients stop snoring. The patient may use a pulse oximeter, so they know if oxygen levels are staying consistent when sleeping. Lastly, the team will do a second sleep study to confirm their success. Most of the care offered by the sleep specialists at Sleep Cycle Center can be done through the telehealth app and the mail, making it easier for patients to get the help they need for their sleep disorder. Sleep Cycle Center also provides body composition analysis, nutrition counseling, and natural supplements...

Warning! Stay far, far away from this place! This place was recommended by my physician (don't…read moreworry - I've warned her to stop sending people here!), and it has been an absolute nightmare of an experience. Communication is absolutely horrendous. They use a call center to route all of their calls even during business hours so it is rare and difficult to reach a human at the actual office. You have the option to communicate via text but don't bother because no one responds. There's an online patient portal that can be used for messages as well. That's probably your best bet but it's still dicey. CPAP supplies are impossible. Laura is nice but she is only 1 person. With only 1 point person for CPAP supplies, getting to them or having any help managing supply reorders is purely luck based. They send out a mass email soliciting orders for resupply but no one ever seems to actually do anything with the responses? To try and make your supply ordering easier, they will offer to outsource you to another vendor for supplies. You will happily take them up on it. That will not actually be handled, and you'll be right back in the same cycle of insanity with TSM. Your video appointments will start with a "medical assistant" reading from scripted questions, not listening to understand your response, and then you'll see the "doctor" who will ask the same questions. If you're extra lucky, they will also offer you GLP-1's without any background in dietetics or knowing anything about your history of eating disorders. And when it comes to billing, they will keep a card on file. But they have an arbitrary limit of a cumulative $1500 maximum for what they will charge that card over any period of time. They will fail to tell you that this is their policy or notify you that you've hit that limit. Bonus: To make things extra fun, even with a card on file and before the $1500 limit is reached you will get at least 3 notifications of your monthly balance. So you will ignore them, until you get a call from their office holding your CPAP supplies because you've hit that limit and now have a past due balance. (Karina, you're a real gem!) And if you want to talk to the practice manager about any of these concerns, good luck. The elusive Bianca has been "in a meeting" since at least June 2026. Posting this review at both of their office locations because the NP who I was assigned (?) to is out of their south office. The CPAP Wrangler is at their North office. And I have no clue where billing or management are.

Portal requests don't receive follow-up calls to confirm they're being addressed. I've been a patient for several years, and this has been an ongoing problem. In the past, the only way I've gotten updates was by repeatedly calling different extensions until someone happened to answer. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known my issue was being worked on. Staff are pleasant in person, but phone responsiveness and follow-through are inefficient. During a recent visit to pick up a sleep machine, the phone rang multiple times at the front desk without being answered while the receptionist remained at her computer. I've raised these concerns with my doctor on two separate occasions and was told management would be notified, but there has been no noticeable improvement.

In this case, as soon as I posted previous review various places, their COO called me directly. To say he was mortified is an understatement. He dug into my specific case, identified the gaps, and helped move the needle. Ultimately we identified where my ongoing saga was stuck and thanks to Vital Sleep, we're back on track. In the end, deficiencies in process were identified with Austin Heart and NOT Vital Sleep, and as such, I am more than willing to write this explanation and just end with Vital Sleep has served me well so far.

Hi there, I did confirm with Vital Sleep that they no longer ship the sleep test to apartments, because FedEx was having issues of loosing the packages/ dropping the packages off to the wrong apartments. Is there a family member or friend who has a house who you could ship it to their address? They also do an in lab study, this would be where you would go to their facility to conduct the study. Please let me know if you would like to go forth with any of these options. Ella RN Good Morning, No. If this company is not responsible enough to service people who live in apartments then they should not be in business. if this is the only company you use, you need to reevaluate your decisions about how you care for your patients. No one should be subject to their incompetence and prejudice against apartment dwellers. Regards, Floresa Williams Vial Sleep phone number: 800-892-9994 Good morning Nurse Ella O, Thank you for providing the telephone number to Vial Sleep, however, there is no way I would trust a company with such sketchy business practices. If you have no other company that can provide this service I will not be participating in any sleep observations. Regards, Floresa Williams My first contact with this company was via text. They texted me their number and I called them. A automated system answered first. Then a woman got on and said, "What do you want?" My response was, "What company is this?" her answer was angrily, "I told you" Me: No you didn't. Her: Yes, I did. I will transfer you to someone who will help you. Me; Held the phone for five minutes with no pick up. I called again the automated system answered again. Another woman answered she was not very friendly or professional but she was not rude. She transferred me to another woman who took my name and asked me to verify my address. When I gave her my apt number she demanded to know why I did not live in a house. I told her that the majority of the people in the US do not live in houses. She then told me that they do not deliver to apartments. For me to receive the equipment for the sleep study I would have to give a credit card number. I was appalled. I did not give her my information. When I conveyed this information to the nurse and the Doctor at the Austin Heart Hospital they were astonished that this provider would behave in this manor and demand a credit card when they took insurance. The rest of the saga is provided a the beginning of this post but I would advise anyone patients or doctors not to recommend this company. I wouldn't trust them with a cat (I hate cats).

The Austin Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) clinic is located on Research Blvd in Ascension Seton Complex…read more You might ask why am I seeing an ENT? I thought my mouth pain had been eliminated. Apparently, I had two sources of mouth pain - 1) lower portion of my mouth - eliminated via a root canal and 2) now, the upper part of my mouth. The upper pain has been a little more difficult to diagnose. I went to my dentist, who was not able to pinpoint any tooth pain. Thus, today I ended up at Austin Ear Nose & Throat clinic. First my ears were evaluated by listening to high and low sounds while pressing a button when I heard the sounds. In addition, an overall evaluation of my ears was completed. No water in my ears, no wax build up. That was good to hear. In addition, Dr. Boerner did a live scan of the my sinus and found no infection. It was quite interesting viewing the inside of my nose via a monitor. Dr. Boerner has a pleasant demeanor and super helpful in explaining medical details. Before my office visit I was sent a link to fill out my medical history and pay my co-pay. The only paper work iI needed to complete in-office was some consent forms. Thus, a pretty straightforward process. Diagnosis: Allergy treatment, CT imaging and 4 week follow-up.
