After an easy take home test, it was discovered that I had Sleep Apnea. The device that he recommended has been a major help in me getting a restful night's sleep and back to sanity. Chad Denman, DDS, and his team of sleep specialists screen, diagnose, educate, and treat snoring, sleep apnea, and other sleep disorders like insomnia. Before seeing a patient, the team of sleep specialists have them complete a health screening tool, which accurately identifies if the patient is suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). OSA is disruptive and can be fatal in some circumstances. They talk to their patients about their diagnosis and treatment choices -- like continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, oral appliance therapy, and surgery -- then decide which would make the best choice for them. If the team needs more information to diagnose their patient's sleep problems, they use the innovative home sleep testing tool WatchPAT™ One.  They also have each patient download the SnoreLab app so that the team knows when their patients stop snoring. The patient may use a pulse oximeter, so they know if oxygen levels are staying consistent when sleeping. Lastly, the team will do a second sleep study to confirm their success. Most of the care offered by the sleep specialists at Sleep Cycle Center can be done through the telehealth app and the mail, making it easier for patients to get the help they need for their sleep disorder. Sleep Cycle Center also provides body composition analysis, nutrition counseling, and natural supplements...

I'm so grateful to have found CSMA and to be getting tested as it's very possible I could have at least one type of sleep disorder. (The quality and quantity of the sleep you're getting can affect your life in so many ways!) You can really tell the people at CSMA are passionate about helping people find answers and get treatment. Portal requests don't receive follow-up calls to confirm they're being addressed. I've been a patient for several years, and this has been an ongoing problem. In the past, the only way I've gotten updates was by repeatedly calling different extensions until someone happened to answer. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known my issue was being worked on. Staff are pleasant in person, but phone responsiveness and follow-through are inefficient. During a recent visit to pick up a sleep machine, the phone rang multiple times at the front desk without being answered while the receptionist remained at her computer. I've raised these concerns with my doctor on two separate occasions and was told management would be notified, but there has been no noticeable improvement.
