The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. Edit on the course of this trip another bus died on the side of the road. Updating review to one star.

I wrote a review about Super Shuttle before, but it seems to have going the way of a candle in the wind. Nevertheless, I see Super Shuttle's pisspoor survive hasn't changed. I have ridden Super Shuttle and at times did not mind ridding along and seeing whom else we end up acquiring inside the shuttle. Sometimes you might be the only one who gets picked up and paying $14.99 (at the time) was a bargain. Later on the price was $19.99, but to get either of these prices back then, you had to do the share ride. Otherwise, the $14.99 to $19.99 would be more like 30 something or more each way. Anyhow, one of the last times I was on a Super Shuttle, this punk kid started getting rude with all his passangers. I had been on a plane from Switzerland with my sister and rudeness would not be tolerated. All of the passager were pretty much fed up with his attitude and did not tip the kid after he dropped him off. This was back in the wintertime and we did get stuck in the snow a few times too. I have called a few other times for a Super Shuttle and they never showed up for pick up and these were scheduled for a single pick up which cost more. Since those experiences happen, I have found other methods of getting to the Airport no matter which airport. I saw a while back the almost went out of business. If their pisspoor service continues the way it's going, the sure as hell will be.

My driver greeted me professionally and we arrived to the airport without any traffic (Reverse Murphy's Law when you depart for a trip on time). The driver offered me the option to accept the "flat rate" or the "meter" and I opted for the flat rate. I paid $68 for my fare and the driver provided me a $10 certificate on my next trip. I had a few recommendations for improvement which I was able to discuss with management. I am confident my recommendations will be fully-implemented. If I ever need a ride to the Dulles Airport I will definitely utilize this establishment.

While I've hired other agencies in the past, Tangier Transportation certainly raised the bar. And, as a grumpy, aging geezer, I am not easily impressed. My lifelong buddy, whose daughter is my God-Daughter, chose Tangier for transportation to and from a hotel and her wedding venue nearby in Rixeyville, VA. He did the research before he chose Tangier and, as I demanded to cover the cost for this service, I did additional research. OK. So online, Tangier seemed to be a good bet. I could NOT have been more pleased. My conversations with Khalil both before and after the event were, believe it, enjoyable. He is easy to work with and most attentive to the needs of his clients. His "day after" call to make certain everything was to our liking was not surprising given my previous conversations with him. I will ever recall Khalil mentioning how Tangier drivers do not show up "on time". They show up well ahead of time to ease the jitters that always come when hiring such a service. Well .... Our driver, Reda, arrived to the hotel well before the clock started ticking. And was he a delight! Polished and professional, he attended to every variant we introduced into our scheduled runs to/from the event. The 28 passenger shuttle he piloted appeared to be brand new! For sure, Reda represented the perfect "face" of this organization. And I shall never forget that smile! Ever. Best kept secret for cheap travel from Dulles Airport to downtown DC…read more I was searching through websites for the best way to get to downtown DC from Dulles Airport. Everything seemed pretty expensive or a very long bus route with at least one change required. Then, the clouds of despair lifted and I saw a sign for The Silver Line Express. This bus takes you to the Silver Line Metro - Wiehle-Reston East Station. You can take this metro to downtown DC. What surprised me is this this option did not come up in Google Maps. Shame on you Google. May the jet lag of a thousand weary plane travelers infest your armpits (sorry, I'm too tired to think of a better curse). The last time I used this service in DC was back in early 2020. I hope someone provides an update.

It's cost you 5 dollars, to be paid at arrival. Calculate some queuing into your schedule when travelling. Ohh, it was cash only when I arrived. Don't know if the terminal was down, or they are a cash only business. They offer free Wifi on the bus, and I was surprisingly able to stream good quality Netflix. I don't know why I did load that app though, as the bus only took 10 minutes to the airport. Buses are fairly new and clean, and have designated areas for stowing luggage. I arrived just outside the terminal building, ready to check in.
