I'd been in some time ago but don't remember the selection this good. Nice mix of new and well-priced used. Example, I paid under $10 for a Promo copy of Elvis Costello Blood and Chocolate in very nice, VG+/E condition. Good Jazz selections as well. They also had a nice selection of bootlegs which you don't see very often. They sell books and clothing which for me usually means it's not a serious store, but Main Steet Beat is the exception. Great staff well laid out and popular, the store has a nice vibe plus Nyack is a fun town to visit with great restaurants and a rich history.

He offered to redo it after she got better for free if they had to remove it. Exceptionally kind! Thankfully doctor said it was gas lol But much appreciate the professionalism and good service! Thanks guys!

My cashier tried guiding me to make it work, but no luck. We both agreed that the old color tag system was better for creating value and discounts. This new rewards program is dreadful. You get 1 point for every dollar spent. 200 points gets you a measly $5 discount. Meanwhile, the old system had discounts applying to various tag colors on items and would rotate. On Sundays, some items would be $1! That's all gone now and replaced with a system that pales in comparison. You can still count on finding some unique items here, but the value and discounts aren't what they used to be.

I went during Grand opening week, and it was pretty decent items even though it was a Sunday. I also went on Saturday when they filled up the store and there were some finds. However.... Here's the reason for 2 stars: 1. Workers yelling at customers for opening boxes. And threatening to kick them out or make them pay full price for it. I get it, but WTF? Lol. If you want people to use the customer service area to open items, make it bigger. Not just 2 freaking guys helping 10 people open 35 boxes and plug in each one. I'm not waiting there for 45 minutes to see random crap inside the box. Have a self open area and have a couple of employees over watching. 2. I've been there several times. It seems they are picking out good stuff to sell on the side for themselves. It's not a good business model. They have more and more stuff "for sale" and no longer a mystery find. Because of this, they no longer have decent stuff for the picking. It's not worth it to go when it's more than a few bux each box at this point. 3. Very unorganized. Refer to #1. It will help you guys out.
