I went into American Eagle on a search for joggers.
But not just any joggers... joggers that weren't like athletic joggers. A lot of places sell joggers that have like a sweatpants like feel. I was looking for ones that were more casual. Ones that I could wear where it didn't look like I was going to actually go on a jog haha.
I found them at American Eagle!
They had a few styles. I went and tried a pair on, and the dressing room attendant was as nice as could be. They were just super kind and cheerful and accommodating.
So I found a pair I liked, I go up to the register - and the cashier was super nice too. She asked for my phone number off the bat, and I tried to decline as politely as possible.
Like... I get enough spam phone calls as it is. I'm sorry. I didn't say that. But I said something like, "I'm sorry, but I'd rather not give my phone number." She was like, "No problem" and continued the transaction.
She was very nice through the entire transaction, AND after she rung me up she asked if I wanted do donate to further LGBT rights.
I probably should have asked about the organization haha, but I was like YES!
She said... "how much would you like to donate" which I wasn't ready for. Usually with those things they either round up, or give you a few options. But his was an open ended question. So, I gave 5 bucks. Everyone has to do their part.
Overall, a great visit. I was in and out quick - and I saw a cute shirt on the way out. I'd definitely stop by again to shop. read more
