These guys are (me singing)...FABULOUS!!…read more I've been looking for a new dentist and this office has it all! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bluestone and his staff. They are absolutely, positively, 200% professional, knowledgeable and caring! I had an emergency and they went above and beyond to help me. I have since then entrusted my care as well as my family's care to Dr Bluestone and his staff. Thank you for all you do from my heart.

So I went to Dr. Bluestone in the mall, what can I say I was a kid. He was sure I had two cavities. I got my teeth cleaned and had him fill one tooth. Never went back for the 2nd filling. When I saw my regular dentist I asked if I had any cavities. He looked all around & nope, not a single cavity to be found. I am surprised this guy is still around.

They will milk you and your insurance for every penny for procedures you don't need. On the first…read morevisit they said they needed three different types of x-rays and said they couldn't do the cleaning without them so I had to pay out of pocket because insurance wouldn't cover unnecessary x-rays. Then they said I had periodontal disease and needed deep scaling. This also turned out not to be true. Luckily I knew they were lying and didn't pay the $350+ for this unnecessary procedure. If I had listened to all their lies I would have paid more than $600 out of pocket WITH insurance for x-rays and the deep scaling. Don't go here. Like the other reviewers said, they scare you into thinking you need a bunch of work done on your mouth when it's not true.

I wish I could give 10 stars!!…read more My husband recommended Dr. McKenna after I had several bad experiences with other dentists, and I'm so glad he did! From my very first phone call to the office, I felt cared for. Kelly answered my call, listened to everything I was going through, and managed to get me in for an emergency appointment within a few hours!!! Dr. McKenna was absolutely wonderful. He truly listened, explained every step clearly, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. His assistant (I feel so awful forgetting her name!) was just as amazing. So kind, gentle, and reassuring. You can really tell how well the whole team works together. Before starting the root canal treatment, Dr. McKenna explained every step and made sure I was fully numb, something my last dentist didn't even bother with, even though my filling was deep. Dr. McKenna fixed the poor filling from that previous dental office and discovered bacteria under the tooth that was causing my pain. My previous dentist had insisted nothing was wrong and left me to deal with on and off pain and no antibiotics for months!! I then went to another practice, as the pain became excruciating, same thing and said I had to wait at least until the end of the week until next months schedule opens for root canals. However, Dr. McKenna found the real issue right away and treated it properly. While explaining the X-rays and what they show. I'm still healing, but I already feel so much better and finally heard. I can't thank Dr. McKenna and his team enough. They've earned a new lifelong patient! I will be bringing my newborn son here once his teeth come through and recommending to other family and friends :D Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and for helping me.

It's hard to understand any positive reviews for this office -- anyone who has experienced a…read morethorough, professional exam and cleaning elsewhere would quickly notice the difference which is like night and day. The cleaning lasted less than 10 minutes and only included a quick scraping and polish. There was no thorough exam -- no gum measurements, no photos, and no detailed explanation of findings shown on a big screen. The dentist herself spent barely three minutes with me, glanced at my X-rays from across the room, and said everything looked fine. This was concerning because my previous dentist had already informed me that two of my silver fillings were leaking and needed replacement, which this dentist said are fine. Missed other issues my previous dentist had flagged as well. I also asked about possible thrush. She took a two-second look and told me I didn't have it. The very next day, my family doctor diagnosed me with a severe case that required 21 days of treatment. Since then, I've gone to another dentist who addressed my cavities properly and even removed stains from my teeth -- something this office told me wasn't possible. To make matters worse, the billing was misleading. Before my appointment, I confirmed multiple times (via email, voicemail, and even their own website) that they accepted my insurance. At checkout, I was told I owed nothing. Later, I received a bill for over $150 because they claimed it was out of network. My insurance did cover part of it, but the balance due was still higher than what I would have paid out of pocket at another dentist -- where I also would have received a much more thorough cleaning and exam. Now they continue to call and threaten collections, despite my having proof of what I was told regarding insurance. Good luck to them! Overall, I had a poor experience with the care, professionalism, and billing practices at this office, and I recommend seeking care elsewhere. If you're looking for quality care, I highly recommend R&W dental or Malloy & Devine Signature Dental. Both provide thorough exams, take the time to explain everything, and deliver the level of professionalism and treatment patients deserve.

His savvy as a dentist is only matched by his charm and warm demeanor. Each hygienist is well-trained and thorough with each cleaning. Professional dentist, but unacceptable and disrespectful staff behavior…read more I had a fractured tooth from clenching while exercising and had a crown placed, which unfortunately fell out after only a week. When I returned to have it fixed, the dentist was highly professional and apologetic. However, the behavior of the dental assistant/nurse/ staff member was completely unacceptable. While waiting with numbing agent in my mouth, I needed assistance and raised my hand twice. The the dental assistant/nurse/ staff member did not respond. When I later brought it up, her response felt dismissive and disrespectful. When I expressed my discomfort to the dentist and asked for a different assistant, he went to the front desk. Instead of resolving the issue, the same dental assistant/nurse/ staff member returned to the room, which made the situation feel worse instead of resolved. This lack of basic empathy and professionalism led me to go directly to the front desk to ask for accountability. Ultimately, the owner had to step in to complete the procedure. While he was kind, understood my frustration, and tried to defuse the situation, the fact remains that patients should never feel ignored, dismissed, or disrespected during dental care, especially when they are already in pain and vulnerable. I stood up for my self-respect, but I am incredibly disappointed by the lack of care and professionalism from the dental assistant/nurse/staff member here.
