I get my hair done on this side of town & it's an absolute must I stop by & get my hot wings with a sprinkle of lemon pepper regular fries & large Kiki poo BOMB!! Staff is always friendly food always delicious

Look how small. Barely a bite of meat. What am I paying for? Scraps?

Wow. I'm traveling in the area and wanted wings/fries. So I happened upon this place. I ordered dry rub lemon pepper wings and fries. The wings were soooo small. So tiny. Not even a bite of meat on the bone. This should've been free ninety nine. Just wow. Don't go here.

I visited American Adeline today and I tried the lemon pepper wings and fries. The food was amazing and the service was really great. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and patient and the food was cooked to order and of good quality.

Got the beef gyro and a reuben here. The gyro was decent, good beef, lettuce, tomato, and sauce. It had a good taste to it too.. Good portions as well. The reuben was not great. The corned beef wasn't good quality, and there wasn't any sauerkraut.

    Small restaurant.

I stop by at 1 p.m. for a late lunch. I ordered the Reuben sandwich combo. It came with fries and a drink. Service seems to be rather slow. The Reuben was a little bit on the soggy side, but it was on rye bread in it did not have mustard on it. It tasted a little strange, and I finally figured out that it was because it did not have Swiss cheese on it. I think they used the white cheese from the Philly cheesesteak in leu of swiss cheese. I think I have to agree with the other reviewer, and skip this place in the future.

We walked up the street with a half dozen other diners. Wooden City is definitely not in the best part of BHM. Walking to the restaurant was a little sketchy, no need for a detailed description. Although we had reservations, the hostess looked at us like we had three eyes. She found a small table for us in the far back of the restaurant. No problem, at least we were seated. Our server greeted us quickly and went over the menu. We ordered drinks, blistered Hungarian peppers and a sausage and mushroom pizza. We told him that we were going to a concert and were on a little bit of a tight schedule. By the time our server checked on our food, the second time, we went from a little bit tight to full "gotta get out of here" mode. I guess the delay in getting our food was to give the kitchen time to burn our pizza. Over half of the thick, chewy crust was inedible. The bottom of the pie didn't fare much better. The peppers, on the other hand, were amazing. (not so much so at 2 am but that's just me!) They are a do not miss. We were at least able to settle our bill quickly and made it to the concert with time to spare. Overall, would we go back? Only if in the area - those peppers were amazing. Still, I definitely would not make a special trip.

Wow! This burger joint is amazing and better than Jack Browns imo…read more We ordered the cowgirl - American cheese, horseradish aioli, bacon, 2 waygu beef patties. Absolutely delicious and crave worthy. The burger was juicy and flavorful everything I wanted. The bun was toasted to perfection. My husband got the regular hand cut fries and I got the sweet potato fries. Literally the best SP fries I've ever had they were crispy and perfect balance of salty sweet. Yum! I wish we had one in HSV guess I'll have to drive back just for the burgers lol. They also serve different styles of hotdogs and fried pies for dessert. They have a few beer options and fountain drinks. Our food came out quickly and the whole place had a funky cool vibe.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the burgers. The Wagyu beef patties were excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their hot dogs, and it was very good as well. The bun was soft, fresh, and really complemented the toppings. The fries were crispy and tasty, making for a solid side. For our meal, we ordered the Chili Ray Cyrus burger with fries ($13.29), an Al Capone hot dog ($8.79), a Blueprint burger ($11.29), and two fountain drinks ($2.79 each). Our total came to $48.69, including tax and tip. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the pricing. While the quality of the food is undeniable, almost $9 for a hot dog felt a bit steep, especially considering it's just the hot dog without a side. If the prices were a little more reasonable, I'd have no problem giving this place five stars. Overall, the food quality exceeded my expectations, and I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. If you're looking for a well-cooked Wagyu burger or a quality gourmet hot dog, Whiskey Foxtrot is worth checking out--you'll just want to be prepared for the premium pricing.

My friends also said the Expresso Martini was way too strong. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The problem we had is that we had a group of 12 on Saturday at 10:30 for brunch. We called on Thursday for reservations which they don't take. They did tell us to have 2 or 2 people come in at 10:00 and they'd work to seat us. They knew we were coming and had a phone number if there was a problem. I received no call. We were provided a table for 8 at 10:30 with 2 two seater tables. This was not ok. The manager did work with us to scoot empty table to our large table so we could all sit together. Water was promptly provided and drink orders taken. Then food orders taken. Food came out before drinks. I know it's hard when there's a large group but I felt it should have been staffed appropriately knowing we were coming. Our group had a good time because we weren't rushed and we got to visit. For people that need to know, there's no handicap parking at all and we needed a spot. Parking is quite challenging so prepare for that.

We made reservations for Bae's birthday dinner, and they welcomed us with a handwritten card signed by the entire staff... such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for the night. Now let's get into the food To start, I had the Charred Grapefruit Martini--perfection. Smooth, refreshing, and just the right balance. We ordered the Butter Crab Sushi and Lobster Bisque to kick things off, and both were incredible. For our entrées, we went with the Steak Frites (with a little switch-up on the sides), and baby... nothing missed. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. This is one of those places where you can confidently order anything on the menu. 10/10 experience--don't forget to tip generously, the staff truly deserves it!

It's tied to a hotel, which actually adds to the polished feel. The space isn't huge, but that makes it feel intentional and thoughtfully designed. The menu is small, but very detail-attentive -- you can tell care went into it. Appetizers: * The fritters were a standout -- flavorful and a great way to start the meal. * The fried oysters were another excellent choice -- crispy and well done. * The crab dip wasn't bad... it just didn't stand out. It was fine, just kind of "whatever" compared to the other appetizers. Main Courses: * Steak frites - AMAZING. Easily the star of the table. * Short rib pasta - Good flavor, but it felt a little heavy despite not being overly saucy. * Salmon over orzo - Cooked to perfection. Flaky, tender, and really well executed. Drinks & Dessert: * The Old Fashioned was smooth and balanced. * The Bloom cocktail was refreshing and enjoyable. * Finished with apple pie and Biscoff cheesecake -- both solid sweet endings to the night. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the family dinner even more memorable. Portions were generous enough to leave you satisfied but not overwhelmed -- a nice balance. Overall, it's a great spot for meetups, date nights, or even just chilling at the bar solo. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
