I researched the cost of the tire and Discount Tire cost was in the mid $300 range. I took my car there, I was prepared to pay for a new tire. But when Discount Tire checked it out, they were honest and told me that my tire was totally repairable and they would repair it for no charge. Honestly, is always the best policy; instead of certain industry practiced by some companies. Now guess where I'll take all my tire business?

I received a call with a diagnostic update on the noise, and they assured me that they had identified the source. So, I instructed them to move forward with their professional recommendations in an effort to rectify the noise. Two days later, I received a call, and I was informed that everything suggested had been fixed, but upon a test drive a slight noise was still noted. So, then I was asked if I could leave my car there until Monday for further assessment. Monday, I received a call indicating that what they had previously fixed was not the actual source of the noise, so several additional repairs were recommended. Long story short, my car is now making a louder noise and appears to be in worse condition than it was before I took it this place. Furthermore, the owner was rather nonchalant regarding my concerns, and his only suggestion was to spend more money to fix additional things. Took, my vehicle to obtain a second opinion and the mechanic was instantly able to identify the source. So, this leads me to believe that initially they lied about the source of the noise, so they could get more money.
