But I talked them into letting me go through a box of gold, white and yellow, that they were just going to get rid of. I ended up buying 2 little bands, very nice, just what I was looking for. And they only charged $10 a piece for them. I felt like I got a good deal and I have always wanted to go back, just never had the chance, or extra money since then. These guys paid very little for my gold jewelry. And when they say they measure the metal right in front of you- this guy had a folder stuck in front of the scale so I could not see what was going on. He sensed I was nervous about the sale so he started to talk about my old high school to distract me. What really makes me mad is that I did not notice until I got home that he never even listed one of my rings, an old sterling silver antique jet ring- I would have liked to keep it if I knew he wasn't going to give me a penny for it. He probably pocketed it. And since they paid me out $150 (for about $700 worth of rings,etc) they were supposed to give me a $20 bonus- never got it. I guess the guy pocketed that too. I felt ripped off and exploited. Do NOT trust these guys, they talk fast and take advantage of you. I regret letting them have my rings-they are not as honest as they claim to be. WATCH every move they make, they are slick.
