I was struggling with a project and trying to figure out my wiring. I called the store and John literally spent 15-20 minutes listening and walking through in detail how to wire the switch. The fact he actually listened, worked it out in his head and gave me a genuine solution and feedback is unheard of these days. Usually you'd get the "I don't know you'll have to bring it in, we're busy". But John literally solved my problem over the phone with his knowledge of the situation and willingness to help. I will make sure to order from these guys moving forward since this level of attention and service is hard to beat and can't be found on Amazon..

If you need something right now or have any questions, the staff are super knowledgeable and can answer detailed technical questions and make recommendations on basically any home maintenance project you can think of. Even when I've had weird questions or need technical advice for art projects or other super outside the box requests, they always have knowledgeable suggestions even when I never would have expected them to have an answer! That's what makes a place like this worth it over somewhere like Home Depot where none of the staff has any technical knowledge. Plus they have literally everything you could need for an apartment or dorm, which makes sense considering they're right by a university.

Win tells you what you need most of the time if you're not coming in without a particular reason--it's like Target--I find myself coming in for one thing and walking out with a bunch of other gadgets and gizmos. Most if not all wares here are reasonably and affordably priced. It's great that they don't limit their customers to wholesales or restaurant supply, because a cooking novice like me can buy specialized kitchen tools at a fraction of the cost the same day I need it. I've gotten a myriad of things here from tempura spoons, wine glasses, frying splatter screens, all all the random stuff you can think of. I would say that this supply store has increased my quality of life in the most subtle ways! I will continue to find excuses to come visit to see if anything is new. The staff here are helpful. Most of them don't have the most outwardly friendly vibe but they will help you (kind of like when you ask your sibling to do something for you and while they'll give you some resistance, they'll still do it out of care). Regardless, solid place. Definitely stop by if you don't care about the more high-end, fancy kitchenware at those more high-tier homeware stores...I'm looking at you Crate and Barrel.
