I am very disappointed with my experience and will not return…read more I brought my wedding dress in on May 29 for alterations. It needed to be taken in at the chest, waist, and hips, hemmed to the correct length, and bustled. I came fully prepared with my shoes, shapewear, accessories, and even my veil so the alterations could be done properly. I was told my dress would be ready July 31. On July 30, I called and asked if I could pick it up August 3 and was told it was ready. I called again on August 3 before leaving home and was again told my dress was ready. When I arrived, I was handed **someone else's wedding dress**. After the confusion, I learned that my dress was actually **not ready and the alterations had not even been started**. I received a call the very next morning saying my dress was finished. Considering it had not been started the day before, I was immediately concerned that the work had been rushed. When I returned on August 6, the fit was not right. The back was extremely tight, and the fabric was bunching around my waist and hips instead of laying smoothly. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that I had somehow gained **four inches in my back in approximately six weeks**. I was also told the dress needed to be let out again and that I would have to pay an additional $125, on top of the **$625 I had already paid**. When I picked the dress up again a few days later, the bunching was still there. At that point, I was told there was nothing more that could be done. Having wedding dress alterations done is stressful enough without being repeatedly told a dress is ready when it isn't, discovering the work had not even been started, being handed another bride's dress, and ultimately leaving unhappy with the fit after paying hundreds of dollars. I took my dress elsewhere to have the alterations corrected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this seamstress for bridal alterations. My advice- STAY AWAY!!!!

She was charged $185. FOR JUST A HEM. When confronted about the price, she was laughed at. She was told the dress was "wide at the bottom"...it is a dress afterall so it should be wider at the bottom. When she showed receipts from what the other bridesmaids paid, the response was "oh they must not have gone a good job". When she mentioned what other places locally were charging, the response was "well we do a good job" None of this explains why they are charging QUADRUPLE what other places charge and what others have paid at different locations. Do not take your business here. It is complete robbery. Taking advantage of people is nothing to laugh at, especially in this economy. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

We brought in my daughter's dinner dance dress for alterations and the experience was incredibly…read moredisappointing. The dress was returned unfinished and uneven at the bottom, despite us paying for the work to be completed properly. We were also told the dress would be ready, only to have last-minute issues come up and multiple trips wasted trying to get this resolved. To make matters worse, the contact information on the receipt was incorrect, making communication even harder. When we tried to calmly work out a solution due to our work schedules and the inconvenience already caused, the response we received was unprofessional and dismissive instead of customer-focused. At the end of the day, this was a $300 dress for an important event for our daughter, and we expected much better quality, communication, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary stress right before her dinner dance. I would not recommend based on our experience.

He bought a kilt in Scotland, and subsequently lost a significant amount of weight. Not wanting his kilt to got to waste, (and not knowing when we'd have a chance to get back to Scotland to get a new one), we sought out Rich at Moorestown Tailors to work his magic. I personally know nothing about sewing, tailoring, and the like, but Rich really took his time, examining the piece and seeing how it was worn before determining that yes, he could make the alterations. A week later, the kilt was ready, and fit my husband perfectly. Rich's craftsmanship was quite professional, and one would never know that an alteration was made. My husband was quite happy to be able to wear his kilt to our friends' Super Bowl party, and was quite the hit! At the same time, I had one of my favorite dresses taken in after losing a bit of weight myself. I finally just got around to wearing the dress yesterday (alterations were made back in February) and it looks great. The dress fits perfectly, and again, one would never know that it was ever altered. I don't have clothes altered too often, but when I do, I only go to Moorestown Tailors.
