If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I dropped off two gowns on September 19th at 11 AM for alterations. A wedding gown and a bridesmaid gown we had our measurements taken and were quoted a price. Also given a pick up time at first she wanted me to pick up the first week in January. I said no that's too far out. How about next month? I was given a pick up date of October 30th. I paid $244 in advance on September 19th. I arrived at the shop today October 30th at 1 PM only to see my 2 gowns on one hanger together on a rack with safety pins still in them. The seamstress/owner walks over to the counter and says hi can I help you and I say yes I'm here to pick up my 2 gowns. She looks down at my ticket and says oh they are not ready yet. I responded I know I'm looking at them still on a hanger together with pins still in them. She smiles and says to me can you come back in two hours? I said no I cannot come back in two hours. You are telling me that you're about to do alterations in two hours on 2 gowns that you've had in your possession since September 19th that should've been done today. If I walked in at opening time today, I should have been able to retrieve both of my gowns. Number one you had these gowns over five weeks and number two I do not live near here. So I asked for a refund and when I asked her for a refund at first she was hesitant and then she responded to me.....Where else are you going to get alterations if I give you your items back. Ma'am, you are not the only seamstress in the New Jersey, Philadelphia area! This lady is very rude. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will not go back to this establishment. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone. No apology no nothing, just where else are you going to get alterations from if you don't get them here. The lady is RUDE! I went for alterations for a pair of pants. The total was 9.00 cleaning was 5.25. I go to pick my pants up and pants not cleaned. expected to pay with credit card 14 25. sign states no credit card under 10.00. so I ask her can I pay with my card since it's she messed up. she charges my card 10.00. I asked why did you charge the card 10.00 and not 9.00 she told me i told her to charge 10.00. Like what!!! 1st you didn't clean my pants and you were rude going back.and forth. Why the hell would I say charge me more???? I would NEVER go back NOR recommend ANYONE to this establishment. It's not about the a dollar it's the principal. Why would I pay MORE when I didn't get what I asked for?? I have been a customer for the last few years, particularly prior to the pandemic when I was in need of regular suit and shirt pressing and cleaning for work. The woman owning the establishment has always seemed a little scatterbrained, but I never had an issue until this summer. The establishment has a 90 day policy for pick up, which basically says they are not responsible after 90 days for anything lost. Covid obviously warranted less regular pick up given the need to press and pick up suits wasn't as demanding. Knowing the 90 days was approaching, my wife went to the shop to pick up a $400 suit, however the owner could not find it. I returned after tearing apart our closets, thinking perhaps I was mistaken and picked it up... This was something the owner suggested, so to be fair to her we thought to look around just in case. I returned a week or so ago and asked about the suit. The owner checked her system and said my wife had picked it up, which was 100% not the case. I got my wife on the phone to help sort this out and she confirmed she did not pick up the suit. The owner was flat wrong. This is when the owner had what I would describe as a "planned breakdown" (Oscar winning acting likely from years of moments like this with customers), complete with shouting and accusations that I lost my own suit and was blaming them, despite having the ticket and returning a second time. She blathered kind of hysterically about her house being broken into and jewelry being stolen, and why "we're all these people doing this to me." (wtf?) I sought to reset and very calmly asked that they look again and even turned to the owner's employee, an older bearded gentleman, for some help in sorting this out. It got to the point where the owner ignored my very presence and I had to just walk away. After watching all of this happen it occurred to me, they have a really terrible system of organization (numbers, tags, a broken database that gives the wrong info). You will notice this when you walk in -- there are literally lines of clothes sectioned off in various ways, the track with clothes hung, piles of garments and a level of dirt and filth behind the register-- lots of chaos. I should have known better. Still, I'm glad I didn't raise my voice or make threats because I realize how empty it would have been, given their "couldn't care less" attitude. I am out a $400 suit and the only thing I can do is post this review in the hopes that customers try different places and don't take a chance here. I've gone to nearby "400 Dry Cleaners" located on Main Street in Maple Shade across from the yogurt stand and would recommend their business. They opened after I started going to VIP or I likely would have started and stuck with them. read more

I dropped off clothes at this cleaner and needed it for an event. It should have been ready yesterday but there was a sign on the door that the cleaners was closed and no one answered the phone. I went again today, and again there was no one there and no one answered their phone. I understand a business may need to unexpectedly shut, but at least have some information on a voicemail or answer the phone (and you should really have a backup so people can pickup their clothes). I am still waiting to hear back from the business. read more

A few days before I was leaving for vacation an outfit I ordered came in with a faulty zipper, I didn't have time to return nor could I imagine the trip without it. I stopped at my go to spot and she couldn't help me, I had an idea what I wanted done to fix it, but she told me that with the invisible zipper it wouldn't work, when I inquired about changing the zipper she told me no. I was defeated but I knew it could be done, so I sent out on my quest to find someone who could do it. I was actually on my way elsewhere when I came across this place that I pass nearly daily, but never really noticed until that morning. I walked in told her my dilemma and she explained exactly what I had in mind as a resolution.. bingo! So I then posed to her my quick turn around time and she said she could make it happen.. I wanted to hug her, but nope need to see the outcome.. Well fast forward to pick up day.. not only was the tailed romper fixed to perfection she had pressed it as well, it looked sleek just as I had imagined it, It fit perfectly and the zipper was perfection!
