Spider-Man recliner seats best way to go!!
Lilliana R.

It's been awhile since I've been to the movies and I'm glad I chose to come here. The purchase online wasn't so bad (it can be a little bit more straightforward) I was able to use my employee discount vouchers so grateful to save some money and overall easy to purchase the Spider-Man movie tickets. Wow!! Haven't seen it busy like this in ages but still able to find parking. Easy to check in and use our food vouchers at the concession register. Found our auditorium and seats. We found it clean and comfortable. Loved the recliner seats and they seem to wipe them down so that is good. Definitely recommend this one for you and will be back again soon.

Came here to for a work outing and got to see The Odyssey in IMAX. Screen/picture quality was amazing and the sound was really loud. It may have just been the movie itself though. Place was clean and staff was friendly.

Had a much better experience today. Sound was good, not ear-drum bursting loud. We purchased a soda and service went smoothly. On a side note we were shocked at the price for 2 hot dogs and a soda. $25! That's way too much. Seats were comfy inside the theater. Enjoyed seeing Spider-Man.

This is my absolute favorite theater because they have updated seats compared to the other AMC theaters and great customer service. I am a stubs reward member and that waives the online fees. I love being a stub member and most of all I love the Dolby experience and seats! Those seats recline and it makes me feel like I am comfortable at home. I just wish the Imax theater had the same reclining seats as the Dolby, but other than that I will continue to take the extra drive to go to this particular theater.

ZooTopia 2 crushed it!

My first review of 2026 is based on my latest experience at the AMC Veterans Theater! My child is finally old enough to take to a theater and not have him get up multiple times during the show. Our experience watching the Zootopia sequel last weekend was one for the books. The theater was packed due to it being the last weekend of winter break but we were not deterred. Plus, the movie we saw had been out since November so there were plenty of seats to choose from. The upgrades that were made to this theater are awesome. The theater has comfy, reclining seats with privacy walls behind each row so that nobody's screen use is visible to your periphery. The theater itself was very clean. After my son dropped our entire bucket of popcorn while waiting for me to use the restroom, I immediately reported it and the attendee informed me that they do restroom checks every 10 minutes. I feel like tickets have gotten a little more expensive despite having a Stubs account, but the mobile app used to secure seats is user-friendly and beats waiting in a long line, so if I have to pay a convenience fee for that, I don't mind much. Concessions are where all theaters cash in, but if you order ahead or pack a bag of M&Ms instead of paying full price at the concessions counter, I don't feel like a medium popcorn and fountain soda will break the bank. As my son gets older and is more interested in movie viewing, I look forward to returning to AMC.

The theater is clean and I was able to got my usual popcorn and Icee yummy . I haven't been to this theater in years it has comfy chairs assigned seats at least the theater we chose for the laser view- well see how that goes. Overall good so far.

Will return. Reclining seats. Clean. Friendly staff. The toilets are not automatic, so please remember to push the little button to flash! The outdoor kiosk doesn't work.

We saw a movie in AMC's Dolby Theatre and it was such a cool experience. The sound was incredible and made you feel like you were actually inside the movie, and the chairs vibrating during certain scenes took it to another level. The seats fully recline and are super comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. Everything felt immersive from start to finish. The theater was clean and comfortable, and it definitely made movie night way more fun than a regular showing. Totally worth it if you want a next-level movie experience.

I was shocked to see this place packed with no parking and then to come in and the chairs look this bad (pictures). Not what I expected. This place needs some repair if they plan on keeping it open.

I went to AMC Veterans and asked Guest Services to move my seat so I could sit with my party. The employee was already helping when her manager, Jeanne, barged in just to say no. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything complicated--just to move seven seats to an empty one. Jeanne, a blonde and morbidly obese manager, was rude, condescending, and clearly enjoying the tiny bit of power she has. Zero customer service skills, zero common sense. The situation only got resolved because another customer was decent enough to switch seats with me--something Jeanne couldn't be bothered to do. Absolutely useless management and an embarrassing experience.

Amanda T.

Bought tickets fandango to reserve our seats. Nice clean theater. Reclining seats need some updates as two out of our four seats were tilted/slanted. Popcorn was excellent. Great choice for location.

I've heard of movie theaters having designated times for small kids, even kids under 1 year..does this movie theatre do anything where I can come with my 6 month old at a specific time? Or what is your youngest age you allow?

Sorry don’t know

Is this theater equipped with stadium seating?

Yes it is.

The reclining seats are much larger and more comfortable than AMC's, and they're very similar to the ones at CinéBistro with the convenient food tray attached. Everything is pretty much self-service you grab your own popcorn, drinks, and snacks after purchasing them which made the whole process quick and easy. The screens and sound quality were excellent, and one thing I really appreciated was that the theater wasn't freezing cold like most movie theaters. We even brought a blanket expecting to need it, but it stayed at a comfortable temperature throughout the movie. Tuesday movie tickets are only $6, making it an incredible value for a family outing. With the Florida summer heat, it's been the perfect indoor activity, and we'll definitely be back to watch more movies. Highly recommend!

A little bathroom TLC and this place would be damn near perfect. 10/10 would absolutely come back for the popcorn alone.

Fast forward to now: my wife wanted to see the new movie Disclosure Day, which we both enjoyed, and she decided it would be the perfect excuse for a dinner-and-movie night. So we headed back to CineBistro. I'd recommend arriving about 30 minutes before the movie starts so they have time to take your order and you can hopefully finish eating before the film begins. Prices are on the mid-to-high side, and they do add an 18% gratuity to the bill. That said, you can adjust it if you want to tip more, less, or remove it entirely. For dinner, my wife had the Shrimp Florentine Linguini, it came with sautéed Gulf shrimp, fresh linguini, roasted garlic cream sauce, spinach, marinated tomatoes, Parmigiano Reggiano, and wild mushrooms. I had the CMX Burger, which is two Angus Beef Patties, White American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Pickles, Special Sauce on Potato Roll. The burger also comes with fries. Soft drinks and bottled water are $7, which felt a little steep to me, although soft drinks do come with free refills. You can also just ask for a glass of water. The seats are very comfortable, with small tray tables or fold-out tables so you can eat right at your seat while watching the movie. Food is delivered directly to you, which makes the whole experience convenient and enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with the food. It was tasty, and we have no complaints there. You really do get what you pay for, and this is a different kind of movie-going experience with good food to go along with it. If the movie is good too, it makes for a great night out. We would definitely come back.

A Cinematic Masterpiece Before the Movie Even Begins…read more If you are looking for an unforgettable night out, the historic Tampa Theatre is an absolute must-visit. Calling it just a "movie theater" feels like a massive understatement - it is a breathtaking time capsule and a true architectural marvel that elevates the simple act of watching a film into a grand event. From the moment you step through the doors, you are transported into a spectacular, 1920s Mediterranean courtyard. The attention to detail inside the auditorium is stunning, offering an experience that modern multiplexes simply cannot replicate. Here is what makes it so incredibly special: * The Atmospheric Ceiling: You sit under a remarkably realistic night sky, complete with 99 twinkling stars and gently drifting clouds, making you feel like you are outdoors on a perfect evening. * The Architecture: The eclectic, opulent blend of Moorish, Spanish, and Byzantine details - surrounded by gargoyles, statues, and ornate balconies - gives the space a magical, almost surreal charm. * The Mighty Wurlitzer: Arriving early is a requirement! Hearing the historic theatre organ played live before the screenings perfectly captures the golden age of cinema. The programming is just as thoughtfully curated as the decor. Whether you are catching a brilliant independent film, a beloved cult classic, a documentary, or a live event, the venue makes every single screening feel momentous. Grab some popcorn, take in the gorgeous scenery, and enjoy the show. The Tampa Theatre is a meticulously preserved local treasure and truly one of the greatest places to spend an evening!

But Sun-Ray moving in definitely pushed it in the right direction. Now there are a few other ''dine-in" restaurants in the Tampa area and they're great, sure, but I don't want to donate plasma to be able to afford a movie and a meal. No worries about that at Sun-Ray! The food is insanely reasonably priced. No, the options aren't "heirloom tomato and burrata on a wagyu burger", but there are some really fun options and a LOT of vegetarian and vegan friendly choices. And the popcorn, man, I'd skip the movie and just come in to buy some popcorn. They have a make-your-own popcorn station for goodness sake. While one of those big chain theaters is charging you $3 for a sampler size of popcorn seasoning you can get at Walmart, Sun-Ray has an entire bar of seasonings, add ons, butters, oils... You can also load your popcorn in yourself so you can even layer the flavorings. It's ALSO super reasonably priced with one free refill included! They do also have cocktails and mocktails to enjoy your movie with a bit of fun, and they do specials to add to the bigger movies. As for inside the theater, I read a few people complain that the seats don't recline. I'm honestly okay with that because, you know...eating. And the chairs are super plush, the kind you just sink in and nestle into. I love that a lot. The spacing was pretty comfortable, lots of room for guests and servers to walk in front of you. I also really liked that instead of Big Corporation Showings before the trailers start, they were showing fun videos and local ads. To be entirely honest, I'm not likely to go back to those big name theaters very often now. I'm hooked. (And not just for the popcorn but honestly, mostly the popcorn)

The movie theatre itself is great and I love coming here, but this past experience has filled me with rage like never before. I went to see the minions and monsters movie with my significant other and the first 1 hour or so was great. After that these no good putrid vile disgusting creatures decided they would take it upon themselves to start talking and causing a ruckus during the film. Now this wasn't just soft whispers and quiet talking. NO it was full on conversations and giggling about stuff totally unrelated to the movie. They also were waving around flashlights and running back and forth on the top row which happened to be right above me. If it were up to me I would ban teenagers from public because they have no respect now a-days and it disgusts me how inconsiderate pricks they can be. Now you may think i'm crazy for this and I may agree with you on that but i am certain that I'm on alone on this and maybe some of you will agree and can relate I am still seething with rage after making it home like an hour ago over my minion experience being tainted and interrupted. My night was ruined by the bottom feeder scum of the earth garbage bag teenagers. All 4 of them should be ashamed of themselves and the parents should be publicly humiliated and punished for raising such no good social reject weirdos that can't be respectful in a public setting. Overall if those kids weren't there it would be 5 starts but instead I have to deal with their awfulness and the gut wrenching filth that they are. Yes it is that serious and I despise them and would watch that minion movie again and YES I absolutely loathe those self centered inconsiderate callous soulless despicable cowards. Side note i didn't say anything to them but my heart was beating out of my chest in anger. I was really thinking about saying something but I didn't and I really regret it. BRING BACK ETIQUETTE!!!!
