Let me start off by saying I loved the movie I went to see and have no hate towards the workers or the theatre whatsoever but i absolutely down right hated the people that were in the theatre with me (some not all). The movie theatre itself is great and I love coming here, but this past experience has filled me with rage like never before. I went to see the minions and monsters movie with my significant other and the first 1 hour or so was great. After that these no good putrid vile disgusting creatures decided they would take it upon themselves to start talking and causing a ruckus during the film. Now this wasn't just soft whispers and quiet talking. NO it was full on conversations and giggling about stuff totally unrelated to the movie. They also were waving around flashlights and running back and forth on the top row which happened to be right above me. If it were up to me I would ban teenagers from public because they have no respect now a-days and it disgusts me how inconsiderate pricks they can be. Now you may think i'm crazy for this and I may agree with you on that but i am certain that I'm on alone on this and maybe some of you will agree and can relate I am still seething with rage after making it home like an hour ago over my minion experience being tainted and interrupted. My night was ruined by the bottom feeder scum of the earth garbage bag teenagers. All 4 of them should be ashamed of themselves and the parents should be publicly humiliated and punished for raising such no good social reject weirdos that can't be respectful in a public setting. Overall if those kids weren't there it would be 5 starts but instead I have to deal with their awfulness and the gut wrenching filth that they are. Yes it is that serious and I despise them and would watch that minion movie again and YES I absolutely loathe those self centered inconsiderate callous soulless despicable cowards. Side note i didn't say anything to them but my heart was beating out of my chest in anger. I was really thinking about saying something but I didn't and I really regret it. I recently visited this movie theater to see the Michael movie. This theater has largely remained unchanged in the last 10 years. If you want any type of seasoning on your popcorn, other than butter, they have small packets of seasoning available for purchase. Even though I am an adult, I decided to get the kids trade that comes with fruit snacks, popcorn, and a drink for around eight dollars. It was just enough for me. There is assigned seating, but no one abide by this policy so I was forced to sit somewhere else. I recommend getting there early if you care about sitting in your assigned seat. read more

I haven't been here in years since the Seminole movie theater opened. I had to come here to see Spinal Tap though. At 5 pm the theatre was mostly empty but the bathroom needed cleaning badly. I don't know how often they mop but it should be daily. Then I asked for water and they wanted almost $6 a bottle! WTF!!!! I get free giant glasses at SMG. I was able to get a small paper cup for free. Glad I don't come here anymore. It's crazy. read more

Went on a date with my wife to see a movie. Walked in and was met with a mildew/musty smell. Tried to let it go until continuing through an unkept and messy concessions area. Final slap in the face for 20 dollar tickets were these seat. Every seat in our theater looked like this, had to have my wife wipe off the seat particles from my back afterwards. The seats were falling apart, made wierd noise when operating and sticky. Super disappointed. read more

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL UNSAFE!!!!! THERE WAS PEOPLE SHOOTING AT THIS THEATER!!!! We come here at least twice every weekend for our date nights, and we usually have no issues. (We are Fandango Club Members + Regal Members and choose our theaters according to our dinner locations) We just got out of the movie "Heart Eyes" that was showing at 4:45pm and we were terrified the whole time, and NOT because of the movie!!!! Right as the movie started, the sound of shots rang out from the doorway. It was either a cap gun or an airsoft, and it scared everyone in the theater. Someone had to go retrieve a worker to find the group who fired the shots, and the worker just took a glance around the theater and left....But not even halfway through the movie, the SAME GROUP of people came barging back into the theater, walked all the way up the stairs and sat down with their hoods up, clearly evading the workers looking for them. I was petrified and my fiancé was quick to motion towards the emergency exit if they made any sudden moves. They got up after a few minutes and walked right back out of the theater and goodness knows if they were ever caught. We were horrified, and have never experienced anything like this before in our movie experiences. We thought that possibly this would be another 2012 Aurora Theater shooting and couldn't even focus on the movie and left early because we were scared for our safety. We believe we saw the perpetrators of the commotion on our way into the theater as they blew past employees without showing them their purchased tickets and ducked off into a theater as quick as possible. The workers clearly didn't find them soon enough as it seemed they were in the theater long enough to shoot off a possibly harmful gun and harass paying customers while watching a horror movie of all things. We have decided we will not be back and will be settling for movies to release on streaming services in the future. Sad. I will be contacting anyone I can to try and get a refund for the $30 tickets for a movie we barely saw and the horror of having a panic attack due to this event. read more

Regal Park place pluses: reclining chairs, reserved seating, good food variety (if available). Now the minuses: the menu always has some pretty decent stuff but often I have found that they are out of the yummier foods and I am often relegated to the movie standards of nachos and popcorn. The last two times I went the computers were painfully slow. We were at concessions easily 25 minutes before our movies start time and both times barely made the previews due to a combo of slow computers and (heaven forbid) ordering food other than popcorn or nachos. Now, thankfully the staff are nice, but it seems like a miss when you're not filling parts of an order while waiting for the computer to finalize. Like, seriously, don't just stare at the screen waiting, fill a drink or get a popcorn while waiting. Then most of that could be done when the computer finally catches up. For this reason, I would love to give 2.5 stars but 3 if what I have and they aren't so bad that they get a 2. read more

This theater is pretty solid. It is clean and the staff is efficient. They've added a bar in the lobby area for those times you want to have an adult beverage before, during or after the flick. The theaters have been upgraded too with recliners seats. Pretty comfortable. read more

For the first time in a long while, my wife and I had a day available to attend a movie airing at the Regal Park Place Cinema. We were looking forward to a relaxing and entertaining afternoon together. The theatre itself is quite well appointed, but we had no clue how to purchase tickets, or if the movie we wanted to see had already started (we were delayed in traffic and arrived a few minutes after the 12:50 starting time). A young man in uniform was in the lobby, and he was very helpful, checking a device and assuring us that we were in time to see our movie from the beginning. He directed us to the concession counter to purchase our tickets. The young man at the concession counter may not have seen us approach, as he was sweeping with his back turned when we approached. Without a word, he positioned himself at a register, and my wife tugged my arm to alert me. This young man spoke softly, and I was not able to fully hear his instructions. As I floundered, his tone changed, and he became noticeably condescending, Understand that neither my wife nor I wish for this individual to lose his job, but we almost left the theater based upon the reception received. Additionally, we were so upset that we decided to forego the purchase of snacks and drinks. We hope that theater management will use this review in a positive manner and provide the young man with additional training in customer service. Actions have consequences, and we understand that the customer is not always right but is still the customer. By the way, the movie was great, the recliners were very comfortable, and the screen was huge! Except for the one negative, we would have been pleased to give Regal Park Place a 5-star rating! read more

I remember this place when they had the recliners brand spanking new..... it's been years since I came to this theater. I was in theater 6 and holy crap... this place has lost its looks it's freaking gross! What the heck happen to the seats! All leather peeling off. Getting popcorn took forever and smell like they almost burn it. Was in the hunt for napkins in the dispenser... none! I purchase my ticket in advance and had my ticket on my phone but I was expecting to have someone scan it ... you could probably have sneaked in and watched it for free. read more

The lobby and concession are looks good and clean....then you get to your seat... ‍ sticky, old, peeling leather, they at least recline but these seats need to be replaced or recovered. The bathroom it smelled like BO. I understand public restrooms are hard to keep clean but it smelled like someone mopped with sweat rags. My stomach turned as soon as we walked in. I am writing my review after a few visits to this theater to give it a fair chance. After my past visit this weekend, I feel the need to share my experience. The theater from the outside appears to be a nice and clean establishment. The main "lobby" area portrays this as well. It's a very open and spread out space which is fine, however, I can count the amount of people on my hands that I've seen there in the 3 times combined. At first I didn't think much of it, but this is definitely for a reason. We got a couple of snacks at the concession by seriously some of the rudest employees I've seen. I mean, the workers there are absolutely MISERABLE. After we paid and we're waiting for our drink, the girl told us to move so she can help the next customer right after we finished the wallet wasn't even back in our bag yet. Just very rude overall. Then the 2 employees started fighting out loud while checking out the next customer. In the theater, the seats look like they have gone through a blender. They are completely ripped up which gives it such a dirty look and is a huge turn off. The seats are what I would expect the original seats in the first movie theater ever created to look like. The "best" part was when my phone fell under the chair, and when I got it there was essentially chewed up popcorn sticking to it. Not that I expect under the seats to be clean, but when we went to ask for some sort of cleaning wipe or alcohol wipe, they had NOTHING. Not even in the first aid kit, or just a simple Clorox wipe. Absolutely nothing to wipe down my phone. All the hand sanitizer dispensers on the wall were empty too. I live 5 minutes from this movie theater but will happily drive further for a nicer and cleaner experience. read more

The screen is good and the sound is good, however the seats are done. The seat I sat in would not recline at first, but after playing with the stuck switch it moved on its own as if some one else was controlling up and down. The seats need serious upholstery work. They are horrible. read more

This is a decent place to see a movie. Comfy seats, great audio, nice screen... My only complaint would be the A-hole patron in the row in front of me, with the wristwatch that LIT UP every time they moved their hand to eat popcorn! That light distraction finally ended after 25 minutes, once their popcorn was gone, but meanwhile, it made me want to SCREAM! So while I enjoy this theater, as always, it is other inconsiderate patrons that make me vow I will never visit another movie theater ever again! We visited in the early afternoon. There are no lines. The popcorn guy was fast . Then came time to fill our cups with drinks. There is black mold in the ice dispenser where ice falls into your cup. Out of the 3 soda machines, only 1 was clean enough to use. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a violation to have mold in your soda machines? read more

I've got to say, they've done a great job with the remodel of the theaters. The last time I was here was when Fifty Shades of Grey was out. Just basic seating theater then. I asked the ticket counter when they had started with the recliners and assigned seating has he said 3 weeks ago. I'm a little confused as some photos on here show recliners from 1 year ago. Maybe he meant the assigned seating started 3 weeks ago, it just wasn't clear to me. They serve wine and beer at concession along with the classics popcorn, candies, Coke products and I believe burgers/nachos/hot dogs. The theaters are so nice now with leather reclining chairs. The sound is great and it's literally so relaxing to be able to put your feet up and watch a film. The seats were a bit tight and just didn't feel I had the space to put my purse anywhere but on my lap. Which is hard when you have popcorn and candy too. I made the best of it and enjoyed GOTG VOL2. They said 8 theaters total had the reclining chairs and assigned seating and by the end of next month all other theaters will be completed. Theaters were clean and no popcorn or soda messes. read more

Would leave zero stars if possible. This place is FILTHY!!!!! I didn't even want to sit in the stretched up worn seats. Arm rests were sticky! Sat in a theater waiting for the show to start. Had to go out and ask a staff member what was going on and they just shrugged. After 30 minutes went out again. They said "oh the movie is broken". Never did anyone come in to the full theater to let us know Finally they said they would give us free tickets for future show and a refund. I won't use the freebies. This theater has a lot going for it: comfy, assigned seats and pretty decent food. BUT, a few things have displeased me so much that I may be damaged for life. Example 1: The ladies restroom closest to the auditoriums (just after you pass the concession stand on the right) consistently smells of urine. It would be easy to say that it may happen occasionally however, we usually attend movies at this location once monthly and it ALWAYS smells of urine. , I have mentioned it to the staff and to management pretty much on every visit. Yet, the stench still permeates... Example 2: Rifftrax Live events always start the movie at 8pm and the pre-show starts at 7:30 however, more times than not the show doesn't even start at 8pm. They always claim "connectivity problems" that are not THEIR fault. But, I can hear the pre-show right now (they turned that on at 7:46pm) but not see it. It took three people separately to go and complain before we even got the audio. I am sure that they will give the same tired excuse but the screen does occasionally show that they need to activate their desktop. Example 3: I asked for two alcoholic beverages at the bar or one tall(double) as I am going to see a 2-hour movie event. The bartender informs me that I am not allowed to buy two drinks at one time. What??? So, I am supposed to miss part of the movie in order to partake of two beverages? Thank goodness my husband walked up at that time and I bought one "for him" to drink. So, now I have spent $20 for two White Russians in small plastic cups that don't exactly fit their cup-holders (they go so low that you can't really reach the lip to pull the cup out). I ask for a cup with a lid, so I don't worry about spilling them. No such luck! I will have to pay an additional $4 or $5 to get an empty cup with a darn lid! It is now 8:05pm and still no video! I will be asking for a refund on our five tickets! Update: I actually called the theater from the auditorium at 8:08pm and asked them if they were planning on fixing the video issue . The fellow simply replied, "No." So we left. So did most of the other patrons at that point. They did give us tickets for the replay event next Tuesday. Two of the five people in our party will be out of state next Tuesday. read more

I've been to this theater multiple times and every time a theater I get put in has something wrong with it. Tonight the theater smelled of mold and feet and every seat was soooo worn down. The last time we had to keep moving seats. The seat we originally choose online had blood on it!!!!! The seats next to it had food, drinks spilled all over them. I do not thing they ever clean these theaters properly and they need to replace all the seats! If I EVER come back... I have been in movie theatre's all over the world, especially in some of the roughest areas of NYC. This was the WORST visual experience of my life. I saw Ghostbusters afterlife in RPX. The screen was so dim(as if the backlight was turned all the way down ). it was like watching the movie in the dark thru a dirty windshield. i could barely make out some of the objects that were shown in the movie. it was INSANE to me. I have zero vision problems and have never had a concern like that in my life ! By the end of the movie i had such a headache from trying to focus on being able to see what was happening on screen i had to go home and lay down immediately. I tried to call the theatre to let them know that they cant charge people money for a worse than at home viewing experience , and that its probably a simple problem that they can fix , but of course after going thru a huge automated system it just rang and rang until eventually a series of beeps . This is a very nice movie theater in a great location. The shopping center has excellent options for both shopping and dining. There is ample parking and it is well-lit. The theater is large and has reclining seats. You actually select your seats when purchasing tickets. The movie selections are great and there is usually something for everyone. This theater hosts movies that other theaters overlook. There is a concession stand to satisfy your cravings. The overall theater is well-maintained. This is a nice theater for movie night. read more

All of the seats are completely warm out and the faux leather is peeling off!! They must be 20 years old!!!
