Very nice theater with a great location. Seating is very comfortable with recliners throughout the theater. The staff is pleasant & the rest rooms are well cared for & clean. My only complaint was the cost of refreshments which was outrageous! $25+ for two drinks & a large popcorn is extreme don't you think??

This AMC has been our go to movie theater. They have reclining seats with lots of space. It is clean and the people are friendly. I usually get the Closed Caption device so I can listen and read to follow along better. We have been bringing our Southeastern Guide Dog who is in training with us and she's been enjoying the space for her afternoon naps. I use the mobile app and website to buy tickets and pick seats. It is easy to use and very convenient. Friends had to cancel so I was able to update our ticket selection on line which was great. We go to the movies at least once a month if not twice and have really enjoyed this location. We just watched The Beekeeper and Aquaman 2. I hope to get to see Wonka before it leaves.

12/10/22: We saw WAKANDA FOREVER today. My iWatch went off four times in 3 hours to alert me that the sound exceeded 90 decibels. When I mentioned this to the manager, he told me that the volume is preset for iMax movies to be "earth shattering." If you value your hearing, avoid iMax movies and their ear shattering levels. So I paid more for a bigger screen and ear impairing sound. This is my last iMax movie. As for the theater, it's clean, well maintained, and the picture quality is amazing. I'll go back for regular priced regular movies.

Queen Bee wanted to see "A Man Called Otto," and since Countryside 12 still isn't showing it, although most every other one in creation IS! That even includes its sister CMX brand theaters in the Tampa area too. Among the first ones in after the doors unlocked at 1130, we were greeted by no one or nothing other than a vague gesture by a uniformed youth toward the ticket kiosks. You CAN buy a ticket in cash, but you have to insist on so doing. Upon handing the ticket stub to the usher, the concessions are directly in front of you. Neither of us wanted overpriced candy, popcorn or soda, so all I can say is that the concessions looked old, worn out and generally uninviting on appearance. There are, interestingly enough, twenty theaters in this twenty theater theater. The first ten to the left and the rest off to the right. Supposedly there is a bar that way too, if you believe the sign. Decor is kind of worn and bland; I'm not impressed by it. Just a long hallway with bunches of doors on either side. Once I FINALLY found a restroom, I availed myself of its uh: services. When I went to wash my hands, there were two sinks. First one had no soap in the no touch dispenser, and the second one: dispenser didn't even work. Once in the theatre itself, there was a steep staircase rising up to the various rows of seating. Ten rows of seats altogether and we are in J, the top row. Getting up there was the most exercise I've had outside of work since my trip to Greece. Somewhat comfy red leather recliners with cup holders on the armrests Esther than CMX with the swiveling trays. These don't recline as far back as those at CMX but still not bad. Sound quality was quite good; top of the line Dolby system in this joint. Some screenings offer open caption; as we aren't deaf, we didn't use it and captions would be a distraction. Overall, I'm not as fond of this place as I am of CMX Countryside. I'm not much of a fan of AMC either, to be quite honest. All in all, this is just another theater. Wee! Show me the movie...

Chair arm rests. F6/5.
Jeff P.

Seats are all jacked up! Not only are there holes in the arm rests but the seat doesn't recline 1/2 way. If you recline 1/2 way the chair creeks and sputters to full recline position. Theater 8 chair F6 just in case AMC is actually interested. Tried to move but nothing was available for all in my party.... You can tell AMC doesn't really care. I reviewed most of the reviews here and there is not one response from anyone in reference to the valid complaints. I say valid because there are just some without merit which are probably just because people had a bad day. lol!

Good secure place to see a film. Nice clean theaters and lobby. Has a bar for folks who prefer more than a soda.

No problem solving skills from management. Simple fix to simple issue. No accountability. Lay it all on the customer to figure out.

Comfortable and clean for the movie. Food and concessions are standard move stuff, but their warm items are good as well.

This is not the closest movie theatre to my house but I drive the extra 10 minutes for the reclining seats.

Beautiful theater…read more Gretchen the manager, her favorite word is no . And that's before you even asked the question. She does not want to do anything. She does not want to hear it. She doesn't want to deal with you. She should not be in customer relations or customer management of any sort she is definitely not a people person. We were looking for a wallet to see if it was still there. She kept saying that they are not responsible. She did not even try to help. We even offered to pay for a ticket to go in and look for ourselves. After a lot of prodding, she finally hovered while we looked. She kept telling us there was not a cleaning crew. I explained maybe the people that cleaned up the popcorn between movies would know and she told me that they wouldn't. VIP movie theater, low with a low quality manager

This movie theater is located inside the countryside mall on the 2nd level, just make sure you park on the correct side of the mall, so you are able to save walking distance, IF you are just trying to catch a flick. Concessions are your typical concession prices, spirits are pricey, but it makes for a great experience. They have reclining chairs, with swivel tables to put your drinks, or snacks on, with PLENTY of space. We checked in online so there really isn't much interaction with staff, besides getting your ticket printed, concessions, then ticket verification. Movie theater is clean, well ventilated and sound and the lighting is nice and it isn't crowed for a 8:20pm show on a Sunday. All-In-All I prefer the movie theater by my home, but if I have to venture out for a particular movie, I will definitely come back here.

This place is packed with personality from every angle. Bowling balls are everywhere stacked, lined, and worked into the yard in ways that make you stop and stare. It feels like someone took a simple idea and just ran completely wild with it in the best way possible. Then you start noticing all the unexpected details: random statues scattered throughout the property, SpongeBob characters popping up in places you wouldn't expect, and CDs hanging from strings that catch the light and move with the breeze. It's like stepping into a fully DIY art installation where anything goes and more is more. What makes it so great is that nothing about it feels normal or restrained. It's loud, weird, colorful, and totally unique. Every time you look around, you notice something you didn't see before, which makes it feel like the house keeps changing as you explore it. Overall, the Bowling Ball House is pure creative chaos in the best way possible. It's fun, bizarre, and completely unforgettable a true local landmark that proves art doesn't have to make sense to be amazing.

Now it hosts musical acts, podcasters, movies and more! We recently attended THE HIDDEN BRAIN's podcast live taping, hosted by WUSF 89.7FM. It was a fabulous experience. We parked down the street, and it was free. The ushers and security personnel were friendly & efficient. The seats were comfortable, it was easy to see the stage from the back of the house, & the temperature was perfect inside (blazing hot outside). The ladies room had 6 or 7 stalls, and it seemed as if all of us women were able to use the facilities and return to our seats in the time allotted for the intermission. We did not purchase food or drinks, but a wide selection of each was available in the lobby areas, and adequately staffed. Prices seemed reasonable. This theatre is affiliated with Ruth Eckerd Hall. When purchasing tickets, you can save money on fees by buying tickets at their box office instead of online or by phone.

I recommend saving yourself $10 easily by parking at the nearby bank with access to sidewalks! It's $5/person for the entrance fee & free for Veterans. I think there were fewer people because it had rained the previous day and was a bit chilly (this is an all outdoor event, so dress properly and warm). We didn't get to the good parts, dancing or singing, because we left early. They had +5 food vendors and others who were selling trinkets and included face painting for kids. To eat, got Lechon Fried Pork from a stall and Halo Halo from Mata's Philippine. The Lechon was a small serving for the price, def. would get a larger portion at Mata's. I am a sucker for anything fried, so of course the crispy fried skin was the highlight of the dish coupled with the flavorful pork that has Hispanic influence + Asian spices...even found a sprig of rosemary in the pork (loved the spices used in this dish).
