Lice and fleas infestation. Do not take kids without spraying them first with an insect repellent! This is a filthy place and hasn't been tented for over ten years. Multiple, multiple complaints. As for the remodel, the chairs are horrific; They are made for adults over 5' 10" - anyone shorter will have their head forced downward. The seat heater is uncontrollable and gets very hot very fast. The chair controls on the right arm - hand rest are filthy and do not work well enough to move the seat appropriately. The seat material is a cheap vinyl wrap that smells like a restroom. One other matter, the butter like product for popcorn.......... it tastes like plastic, whatever that means? Lastly the staff is nice. read more

I come to this theater because of the ease of not having to go into the mall center. A lot easier. The place is clean and the staff is nice. My only complaint is the seating is not stadium seating. I like that viewing experience better. Besides the seating the place is great. read more

I like this theater. It's not the nicest or newest but there are a lot of perks about this cinema. Parking is always easy compared to having to navigate the parking at the mall theater. It's never really crowded either so getting the best seat is never an issue. The staff is very nice and it's pretty clean. I think we are going to be making this our new home theater. read more

Popcorn always is fresh and never burnt. Theater is always clean. Employees are always friendly. Love coming here.

Good prices. Service is good as well. Due to its location, it doesn't get the crowds. Its not over-packed like Edwards. Inside kind of older, including the theaters, but its not run down by any means. Prices are much better than Edwards as well. This is my preferred place to watch movies. read more

Cheaper matinees than the big guys $7 The theater is a little run down. A little duct tape here a little duct there. Not a bad price smaller hidden theater. Nice enough people working. Went here yesterday because it was the only local theater showing St Vincent. The price was right, but is were it gets really dicey. A 12 ounce soda for $5.50, give me a break! The place was a mess and they were completely understaffed. I traveled from Texas and didn't expect this from a temecula movie theatre.

This place has all the right stuff: comfortable seats, cheaper ticket and concession prices, and it is less crowed than other theaters. The one thing this place desperately needs is an upgrade to the restrooms. The graffiti etched into the women's restroom mirror, the overall uncleanliness, and the old 'barely working' soap dispensers sort of dampen the experience. read more

Went to a movie there last week and their card reader wouldn't accept my MoviePass. The concession worker had me try it two more times and it kept declining. She said they had been having some trouble with it for some time now. "Sometimes it works with MoviePass and sometimes it doesn't" was her solution. I had already paid for the tickets for my other guests, otherwise I would've left. It's bad enough that MoviePass has limited a card holder to only 3 movies a month and not all movies are available, especially In Temecula, but now you have to deal with AMC Temecula's bad card reader. Try your MoviePass to see if it works there before purchasing other tickets is my advice. read more

***BEWARE OF THIS THEATER***Do NOT go to this theater unless you want to be treated horribly, be completely disappointed and perhaps NOT even see the movie you drive all the way down there for! I go to AMC all the time and am also a Premiere member. Ive never had a bad experience until I visited this AMC for the first time, and the entire incident left me re-thinking if I ever wanted to visit AMC again! I was checking movies for my nephews and saw that they were playing angry birds at an amc. When I searched the nearest AMC playing Angry Birds this AMC came up which is the closest to Hemet (about a 35 minute drive). There was only one showing. So I drove the 35 mins there and when we got there to purchase the tickets I was told that this was an "amazon prime special" and needed to be purchased through them. I told them that no where on the AMC website did it SAY that this was an "amazon special" and needed to be purchased through amazon and tickets would NOT be available to purchase at AMC! I then tried to purchase the tickets by going into my amazon account and i could not find out how to do so. The guy that was helping me whose name was "EVAN" couldn't figure it out either. The movie was about to start so I asked them to call the Manager. It took him about 10 minutes to get there. I was really frustrated and told him that we drove 35 minutes to get there and No where on the website did it say that this movie was not through AMC etc. So the MANAGER whose name was "MATHEW" (the WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL manager I have ever come across!) first proceeds to tell me that it DOES say on the website tickets need to be purchased through amazon (which it did NOT)! And then he tells me that the movie is NOT even playing this day and the screening is for ANOTHER DAY! I then pulled up their website and SHOWED HIM THAT THE DATE WAS FOR TODAY! I ALSO SHOWED HIM THAT IT DID NOT SAY ANYWHERE THAT TICKETS NEEDED TO BE PURCHASED THROUGH AMAZON! He then looks it up and whispers and even SMILES upon realizing that BOTH OF MY STATEMENTS ARE TRUE! He then takes ANOTHER 15 minutes calling someone on his phone. And then comes back and tells me that the show IS for today but it is now SOLD OUT! I was so irate and told him that had he not taken 25 minutes to confirm that this movie was actually playing at his theater (complete INCOMPETENCY!) maybe it wouldn't have sold out! That is when the first guy "EVAN" who had initially tried to help me the purchase the tickets online chimes in and says "No it was actually sold out last night because I checked it". HE BLATANTLY LIED BECAUSE I TOLD HIM "YOU WERE THE ONE TRYING TO HELP ME PURCHASE THE TICKETS THROUGH AMAZON WHEN I GOT HERE SO WHY WERE YOU DOING THAT IF THEY WERE SUPPOSEDLY SOLD OUT"?!!!!! This is when the Manager nodded his head realizing the Evan guy slipped up and whispered to him "Just walk away". To which EVAN tries to LIE again and say "I didn't say that we were sold out.." I WAS LIVID AND COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT HE WAS LYING TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!! This is when I lost it and went off on the manager. And I told him that I expected to be compensated. Now it has NOTHING to do with compensation but it was the principle of the matter. I am a physician and I don't get much time off. I drove 35 minutes to bring my nephews to watch this movie that was clearly FALSELY ADVERTISED and then Had to deal with the most INCOMPETENT supervisor and MANAGER who clearly did not even know what was going on in their theater. After the fact that my 2 young nephews were waiting almost 45 minutes now and the situation was still NOT resolved. However, when I told the manager I was a premiere member and most definitely expected to be compensated with complimentary passes his response was "I COULD DO THAT FOR YOU BUT I AM NOT GOING TO BECAUSE YOU ARE BEING RUDE" I was SHOCKED and absolutely LOST it!!!! Of course i was being RUDE after the whole ordeal, my driving 35 minutes and the blatant LYING to cover up their mistakes!!! I asked to speak to MATHEW'S SUPERVISOR and he said no one was available and gave me some hotline to call where NO one would answer! This was the WORST I have experienced at ANY theater in my entire life! The manager Mathew could have resolved the situation to begin with had he wanted to and especially after realizing HE himself was completely in the wrong, and his co-worker blatantly lying. But he aggravated the situation escalating it from bad to worse! I am a premiere member (for which I have PAID to become) and if I was treated this horribly I can't imagine how everyone else would be treated. Bottom line - DON'T WAIT TO FIND OUT. Avoid this theater at ALL COSTS and save your money for a place that won't treat you HORRIBLY, LIE TO YOU and where they dont FALSELY ADVERTISE MOVIES!!! read more

Great theater. Clean, professional, friendly help. Fresh hot popcorn. All the current movies at a discount. Great sound system, quality picture. Better parking, less busy. I prefer going here opposed to Edwards, where it is much more expensive, much more crowded and parking is a pain. read more

One word: Disgusting. We will not go back. The lobby floors were sticky and FILTHY, covered in popcorn and 90% stains. The theater floors were equally sticky and filthy. The A/C in our theater was broken (in July). We were told it would take an hour to fix, this was after our movie had started. The whole building smelt of funk. The slurpee machine was broken. Awful!!! Will never go again! The theatre went through several name changes, and is now called Carmike Cinema Temecula . Old and dirty are bad enough, but the biggest problem are the workers. They have hired a bunch of rude teenagers who know absolutely nothing about customer service! They all talk and stand around while there is a long line of customers, so expect long delays in the concession lines! No buckets of popcorn (only small paper bags). You cannot have a tray to share popcorn with your kids. Hot dogs are really old and disgusting. This is a very poory run theatre. If you have 6 grand-kids like i do it's a real savings paying average of $5.00 bucks a seat. Also Digiplex doesn't care if you buy their snacks or you bring your own.. I like their Popcorn though and there's always enough for the kids when you consider you get a refill for free on the large. The staff is super friendly and accomodating!! Went to see a matinee showing of a movie. If you do not have a premier membership, the premier line is served before anyone else can be. I understand this, but it just seems a bit ridiculous as there was only one other person in line. It's like saying the fast pass lane at Disneyland needs to be completely empty before any of the other paying customers can go on the ride. Are you guys kidding, it's a cheap theater. This theater has a post-apocalyptic vibe and not in a good way. First off, we had trouble finding the place as it's tucked away off to the side and behind a strip mall. Second, there was NO ONE there to the point that I was starting to wonder if the theater was even open anymore. It was almost scary. Third, the theater was super awkward and I'm not even sure if the seats were stadium style. Seats were super hard too. My biggest gripe has to be the ladies' room though. I had it all to myself and there was no one else in the theater and it smelled AWFUL. Like just this lingering odor of BO and who knows what else uniting in an overwhelming cacophony of funk. I don't know what horrors that bathroom has seen, but I think it deserves a remodel posthaste. We will probably stick to the Edwards next time. read more

I came here on Black Friday to see Frozen 3D. They ran out of 3D glasses since they had two 3D going at one time (this was the explanation given to me when I asked why I could't see the film I purchased). The place wasn't busy, and I'm guessing the two showings he meant were Frozen and Hunger Games. I don't understand how an entire theater doesn't have enough 3D glasses to support just TWO showings at once. They did refund my tickets and popcorn/drink purchase, but then told me it would take 3 to 5 days to go back onto my card and they could't give me cash even though I paid with debit (which kept me from purchasing other tickets). Also, as in other reviews the bathrooms are horrible. Compared to the Cal Oaks theater, the mall and even the discount theater this would be my last choice. Frankly the only good thing was the manager, who seemed to be very upset about the situation and tried to handle things the best of his ability. read more

I was excited to see "Captain America"! Checked the time on Internet site movies.com for 2 PM, got to the theatre at 1:30 PM, bought the #1 for $13.75, they directed us to the #1 theatre, not the right movie, some opera, the manager was very challenging and didn't want to give our money back, she acted like we made the mistake, the only other time Captain America was playing was at 5:15 PM, I insisted & asked for another manager. THEY RUINED OUR TIME TOGETHER!!! WE LEFT! They have yet to refund our money to our account so we can't go to another theatre, at least not today. :-( read more

On 12/11/16 I came to this theater with a couple friends to see Moana at 7:00pm which was a pretty good movie. But perhaps the best part of this movie experience was Michelle who sold us our tickets. She was very friendly and enthusiasticly and efficiently sold us our tickets. She also, so kindly, noticed that we were discussing coming back to see the new Star Wars movie. She suggested that we buy our tickets now to avoid all the crowds and hassle later and even gave us a little tip on the best time to come to try and avoid as much as the crowds as possible. We got the tickets. Needless to say it was a great sales pitch with loads of personality and passion. To top the night off, she even held the door open for us on the way out. What a kind soul. Absolutely terrible customer service. I brought my son to the movies and wanted to see a rated R movie. I'm going to inform you that I am a 40 year old man, and my son is 13. They would not let me bring my son inside the theater even though a parent/ guardian was present. They didn't even give me a refund. Never coming back. read more

Great Tuesday prices on movies AND food. I actually love the seats, they also have arms that fold up so I can snuggle with my daughter..... four stars because its often dirty in the bathrooms.. but I prefer it 10 to 1. Parking is easy (and close) never a crazy line in stand in...in the heat, and usually not too full. We love it! read more

I used to enjoy taking the kids to watch movies at this AMC theatre. I am not sure if it's new management but talk about poorly prepared. Yesterday was the second time in a row that we have a horrible experience. Movie at 5:30 PM and no more nachos, no cheese, no jalapeños, limited amount of beverages, limited flavors of pretzels, only pepperoni pizza. It was the same story the time before. Place sucks. Manager needs to be fired. And their response is "sorry we ran out". How the hell do you run out of basic food on your menu by 5:30 PM on a Saturday. Poor planning. Never going there again. Rather take my business somewhere else where I can enjoy a movie with my favorite snacks. They should just shut down their concession store and let you bring your own food. read more
