First visit to theatre in years. Went to Captain America 3D IMAX. Great turn out for the showing but poorly planned or executed by management. The line was in lobby and wrapped like an uncontrolled snake without reason or logic. People outside smoking cut in line, very disrespectful and disorderly. Management knew well in advance to prepare for the showing long in advance and based on sales, indicators everywhere. To let their guests "figure it out" or "fight it out" is incompetent and derelict of all responsible at this very popular theatre!!! read more

This theater is phenomenal! From ticket pricing to the brand new recliners in all of the theaters it is my favorite theater. I don't even look at other movie theaters in the area because there is no comparison. I even pick this theater over B&B Theaters!! Highly recommend this theater. read more

This is my favorite movie theater in Springfield, MO. The theaters and restrooms are always clean while the staff is very friendly. Like most theaters, it does get pretty cold so bring a jacket if you get cool easily. On Tuesdays there are movies for $5 which is awesome! You can kick back and relax in the oversized recliners while catching the latest film. The IMAX is cool too Springfield 11 is the best value and experience for seeing a movie in the 417-Land. read more

Being that I live in Waynesville, anyone from the area will tell you that the lack of movie theater options in the immediate area are annoying to say the least. So to see the big blockbusters, I make the drive to Springfield for the opportunity to go to this theater. Cushy, reclining, stadium style seating. Huge screens, and a great sound system. The prices are as reasonable as to be expected from a movie theater for concessions, and the tickets are fair value. If you can, as always, it is better to catch the matinee. Small restrooms, but clean, and I have never had to wait in line so no real complaint there. read more

This is THE only theatre I go to in Springfield, MO. The ticket price is awesome. There are $1.00 hot dogs. The floors aren't sticky. The restrooms are usually clean. The management is helpful. And last but not least, the reclining seats are worth their weight in gold. :) read more

Amc has lost a loyal customer of 10 plus years due to their ID requirement. I was a stubs member for years and was converted to their alist program. I only see about one movie per month but do like the convenience of ordering online. It is no longer conscientious. Tonight I ordered tickets to take my seven year old to see toy story 4. I discovered I did not have my DL with me. They would not let me in to see the movie. The manager was of no help and refused to call by one. He did not care that I have been a customer for years and not care if they lost a customer over this. He advised there was no one above him that he would bother with my complaint. He was non chalet in his attitude. They scanned my ticket so I will have to deal with customer service on Monday for a refund of my child's ticket. I will see Monday if Amc really wants to keep a customer. It is ridiculous to put me through stress like this just to see a movie. And then to not care at all and sluffing off a customer is not good at all. Zero stars because there is not a negative star rating. read more

When refilling my drink a manager told me there was a no refill drink policy on anything below a large drink, which I wasn't told of, nor saw a sign for. They don't maintain comfortable temperature well, both times I've gone recently the people in my party and myself were uncomfortable with the temperature. My first recliner didn't work, so I had to relocate. The was no person to take my ticket, or had out 3d glasses before entering the movie. read more

This is a nice little gem of Springfield for movie-goers. Not as big or flashy as Cineplex 16 on Campbells but their surround sound and screens are equally good. And the added benefit is you can actually always get a parking spot, unlike Cineplex 16 (which on weekends of big blockbuster films is impossible to find one!). They also carry some of the lesser known films that bigger theatres won't carry. I really enjoy going to this theatre and recommend it. read more

I have not been to this theater in a long time was was pleasantly surprised. LOVE THE RECLINING SEATS!!!! The seats are spread out and you can relax and enjoy your movie without having people bump your seat as the get up or walk by. No worries about getting your seat kicked throughout the movie either. Plenty of room to walk by others reclining without bothering them. This is my new go-to place to go to see a movie! read more

After an awesome anniversary supper, my wife and I decided to catch a movie. We went here to check out The Jungle Book. The movie was great, we liked the comfy recliner seats. The ticket and concession prices though were a bit high. 21 and change for 2 tickets, and 22 bucks for 2 medium drinks, and 2 boxes of candy. The kid at the concession stand looked at me funny when he told me the price of the snacks and I sarcastically asked if a tube of KY jelly came with that. If there was one other complaint we had, it would be that we could hear the movie next to us very clearly while ours was playing. Like I said, we did enjoy the movie, and we did like the recliners, and the floors weren't sticky this time. Only reason for the 3 star rating was for the price gouging that was going on. read more

This is our go to movie theater. Everything is top notch. The seats are the best in town, prices are reasonable, it's never too busy, and the employees seem well trained. This is number one on our list, followed by B&B in Ozark. We can take or leave the Alamo Drafthouse, with Hollywood Theaters downtown being our very very last choice. read more

This is my favorite theater to go to.They have comfortable reclining seats. We usually go for the matinee since it is much cheaper. Also, preorder tickets online and just have them scan it from your phone and it will print out for you. They have a kiosk to pick up your tickets, but you have to pay an extra fee to use it, I believe you have to sign up for it to use it though but don't quote me on that. They added the Coke Freestyle machines, I believe thats what they're called, so that is pretty nice. We usually just get a number 1, large popcorn and a large drink, I believe it is around $12. Pretty pricey concessions, but I think thats all movie theaters right? The theater is very clean and everyone is usually friendly. If you are going to see a new movie, you might want to get there early because the seats will fill up quickly. I usually go about an hour to and hour and a half early depending when and how popular the movie is. Anyways, this is about the only theater I'll go to in town!! read more

Much better than all the other theatres in Springfield. Awesome electric recliners in the theatre, great picture and sound. The facelift they did was fantastic. Will not bother going to any of the other theatres in town while this one is so much better (comfort wise) for the same if not less money. I never do concessions (scam at all theatres) so no review there but our movie going experience was great and will definitely go back soon. read more

Pre purchased tickets for a sunday showing the previous thursday. Upon arrival for show time, they had zero seats available for my show time. My wife and I, as well as 5 other parties, had to get refunds for our tickets. Something about online orders were not factored in with that days sales for seating. Bad form. Signed up for the ticket stub thing that just came out that allows you perks and such for paying dues, went into the line for "stub" holders and never received ANY help and then was told no one was working it and so I went back into the regular line, bought a 5$ popcorn combo plus a small soda that rang up to over $10!!!! Seriously so put out with this place and paying money for perks to not receive them!!! Save your money! Plus half way thru the late showing they had no more popcorn! Lol, what a joke. read more

I would like to give this a -20 million review!!! My 3 friends and I went and bought tickets at 7pm for Bad Mom's showing at 10:40, we got there at 9:40 and walked in and there was NO seats available!!! Why sell more tickets than seats you have?!! Then when we asked for a refund on our tickets and food we bought, they were rolling their eyes at us the entire time they were getting our refund along with grabbing our food and drinks out of our hands and then went and put all of our food and drinks in the trash! And.... They were out of hotdogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't even let you have free refills if your not a member and if you are a member then you only get one free refill!!!!!!! The recliners make this movie experience outstanding. The picture and quality are also very good. The only negative is that my $7.50 popcorn was nothing but crumbled kernels as if they served me the last of the popcorn that was made the prior day. read more

When I tried to work with the teen behind the counter to find out what happened, he refused to either look into what happened or to get someone who would. I'm not the kind of person to leave reviews on a place but I had such and awful experience I feel like it should be known, tonight was the release of IT I went with my boyfriend I had purchased tickets online in advance. I get there and I scan for my tickets, I'm waiting in line and there's a group of teenagers in front of me at least 15-16 year olds not a single one of them got their id's checked. Okay whatever, well it's our turn and my boyfriend gives his ticket and nothing is said I give my ticket and he asked for my ID (I recently lost my ID) I told him the situation and he immediately got incredibly rude with me, told me if I'm not of age then I need to get out of the line. I'm of age, I look of age and I have tattoos as well, my boyfriend is 19 but sense he isn't 21 I couldn't get in without proof of age. I told him there has to be some sort of exception pretty much told me there was nothing he could do and when I asked if I could speak with someone higher up he blatantly told me no. The people behind me who was another couple around the same age as my boyfriend and I go to give there tickets, he says to then "geez some people" and then proceeded to not ID them. I understand there's policy I get that, but I wasn't pleased with the customer service I felt disrespected and belittled. Not to mention when I went to get a refund apparently the only option was to get it on a gift card and I was shorted 5$. After I left I called to speak with someone about what happened I was put on hold for about 5 minutes and then got hung up on. Sucks I did enjoy this theatre but if this is how people are going to get treated then I definitely won't be going back and I hope they higher some nicer people. read more
