The employees were friendly as we entered the foyer and helped us select our seats; however, they then informed us that "because it's a free showing masks are required". I paused and considered this information. I walked away in frustration, but ended up going back to ask for clarification questions. I got confirmation that if I PAY for a ticket to watch a movie, I would have the freedom to not wear a mask, but when there's no MONEY involved, apparently the science changes and suddenly masks are required to save everyone's lives. I won't start a debate over the validity of masks on this review, that's not the point. The issue I have is that they "recommend" masks for paying customers and "require" masks for non-paying customers. I imagine they'd be hard pressed to explain the "science" behind that decision. Again... employees were pleasant; policies... not. I will never return.

They show independent movies, movies that the regular theaters don't show and foreign films. They also have movies from the 1950s ~ 2000s that are must see movies. It is a wonderful environment and I highly recommend. They serve popcorn, wine, beer and soda as well as candy and Askinosie Chocolate.

The theater itself does not have reclining chairs which is an industry standard. The sound is decent, but you will hear people in the lobby. This theater could use some help in selecting more distinct movies to show on their screens. There's no reason why they shouldn't try and tap in to movie culture. Transformers (etc.) doesn't have to play in multiple theaters. This theater also could capitalize on screening sporting events. They would make a killing if they did given the food/bar options. Recliners and soundproofing should be priority No. 1 though.

After spending well over a thousand dollars at this run down location over the years, I'm disappointed that they wouldn't accommodate such a reasonable request.
