The owner Pagan, met with us after he finished up his last appointment of the day. He was great! He was patient and real with us about style placement and took the time to give his full attention. He made us feel comfortable and excited about our endeavor. After about 5 minutes we decided we wanted him to do the work. After trying to figure out the best time for us to come back, he said "let's just do it now ", and so we did! Now keep in mind they were about to close for the day, and he didn't rush us or make us feel like we were imposing. This was a great experience for us. He was very personable and it was the most fun we've ever had a tattoo shop. My son was a little nervous about it because it was his first time, but Pagan made him feel at ease and even was cutting up with him, and now I think our son is hooked after his experience. Pagan and I discussed other tattoos for myself in the near future, so we will definitely be back. It's people like him that make these types of experiences enjoyable and something to look forward to.

I took my 9 year old daughter to her ear lobes pierced today. Paige and Kristen were amazing! Basically, everything I wrote about the first experience still applies! See below: I cannot say enough good things about the shop itself, which was clean and brightly lit. The piercing process, from start to finish, was efficient. The tools were sterile and single use. Both Paige and Kristen were kind and patient while explaining the process to my daughter and walked her through every step....and the piercing was FAST. They used numbing cream.... When I tried to schedule time with him again he cancelled on me after driving 50 minutes to the shop. I was hesitant to see him again... I went ahead and made another appointment with him, that morning he didn't cancel he said he was stuck at the river so I asked if he's going to work later that day, because I made plans with a babysitter to watch my kids while I go. He got offended that I would even think about him tattooing that day. He said I was a bad client and wrote me off leaving me with unfinished artwork. He very unprofessional and rude. He acts like he has power over people. What kind of artist does this??? After telling my story there's been multiple people saying that Joe has changed. He acts like your bugging him when you try to schedule time. He's lost his spark. If he doesn't like dealing with people he should be in the tattooing business. I do not recommend JOE at all.

A friend recommended Jason. I contacted him, explained my situation. He was replying to me after midnight via Messenger and came into work early the next day to fit me in. He did a phenomenal job (and played my favorite music while he worked.). I just love the tattoo and I had the most fun just talking with Jason. He is so personable and has so many great stories. He suggested I shower twice a day and use jergens lotion frequently to help the healing process. Thankfully I decided to get a second opinion. I stopped in at battleground because it's in my neighborhood and was blown away by the customer service and friendly staff. The owner Will went out of his way to take the time and explain to me the importance of aftercare to ward off infections and also prolong the longevity of you're tattoo. Free of charge he took me into his booth and showed me how to properly apply aqua for too it and have me a handout he gives all his clients easily explaining how to take care of it over the next four weeks. I had a suspicion my original artist had neglected to explain to me that importance and I am so glad I stopped in to meet Will because he most likely saved me a ton of trouble - remember this will be on my body for life and I want to take the best possible care available and me having not had a huge piece done before was ignorant to the fact. I will 100% be coming back to this parkour for my next tattoo and am so thankful for Will and his staff. A woman had originally answered the phone e and offered me some of her personally Tagaderm because I thought that is what I needed to help protect it. I paid for a tattoo, that needed a touch up, it looked bad and I wanted to get it touched up. They wouldn't answer my phone call so I called off my husbands phone and they told me ,"None of the artist want todo work on you anymore because of your behavior." I am SO confused.. they told me I have came in there intoxicated several times and my behavior was bad in there. Ok so, I would understand IF that was true, but I have NEVER done that... I've always been very respectful, kind, and considerate. It's hurt my feelings because someone has obviously started a rumor that's not true, but I am not that type of person. I am very disappointed by the way this was handled. Now I'm stuck with a shitty tattoo that I paid for, and I was supposed to receive a touch up on. Now they won't even fix it. VERY immature and sad that this is how a business does their business. I do not recommend going there at all. They also talk about customers behind their backs. Especially when walk ins come in and they leave, they make fun of them to their customers when they leave.
