Not only is dining hugely disappointing, but I've tried quite a few hairdressers and I've left so utterly disheartened. Salon Fig was such a positive experience. My hairdresser, Ava was a delight. She was easy to talk to and truly listened to me. Together, we came up with a plan for my hair. I valued her input as she explained each step of her process. Sometimes, hairdressers can be jarringly rough with shampooing but Ava made sure the water temp was comfortable and massaged my head with just the right amount of pressure. The hot towel treatment after was heavenly. I'm happy to say my curls are back and well defined, unlike my last hair experience, where the hairdresser blew my hair out straight despite me sharing a photo of a curly hair style. After my hairstyling, I purchased small quantities of the products used. I've started using them and I'm very pleased. Salon Fig is not inexpensive, but I will definitely return. She fully agreed. when she put my toner on she then went outside for a smoke break, which was marijuana and not cigarettes. She left my toner on for too long and I was now a full brunette. she told me it looked great and I would get used to it. I was not happy so I came back the following morning to have my hair re-bleached. while waiting for the salon to open, I watched her again smoked marijuana before starting her shift. my hair lightened slightly, but still nowhere near what I wanted. I was left with hair that was brittle and broken from being bleached twice in less than 24 hours and was out $300. I'm not sure if the owners know that their employees are doing drugs while their clients are sitting in the chair.

Rose has always done exactly what I ask for and somehow understands my hair better than I do! My hair always looks great! Last year, when I mentioned I needed a new nail tech, she introduced me to Amanda -- and I'm so grateful she did. I should of listened to my gut when I saw Jessica put bleach on my already lightened ends. I also should of told her not to put it on my scalp too. She told me that my hair could withstand it, and its strong..... I had also told Jessica about prior hair history from damage, thinking that I could trust the process. When I saw it in the mirror, my heart dropped. It was definitely way darker in the back...and the front is destroyed. I didn't realize the severity of it until I got home and saw how it dried naturally, and I shouldn't of paid how much I did. Jessica told me I could come back on Monday.. When i got there Monday, the owner insisted that I needed to make an appointment, and that Jessica had other clients. I wanted to talk to the owner about the damage, but I knew in my gut I wouldn't of been heard. I just got up and walked out. Its going to take a long time to come back from this and my hair sheds a ton every time I wash.. just really bummed this happened and I've spent a lot of money on products to fix the bond damage. My hair is now on a healing journey. Lesson learned, ask questions, triple check and get to know who is doing your hair. When she shampooed my hair, she hardly scrubbed and when I got up I realized she didn't even wash the hair at the nape of my neck. The haircut was fine and quick.
