They're hard to…read moreget ahold of over the phone, but no appointments are required and I was able to walk in and be seen right away. NOTE: Make sure to bring cash! They don't take checks. When I walked in around noon on a weekday, there were 4 travel agents all available and the one I worked with is David. I applied for a 10 year multiple entry visa for my daughter and was required to provide the following documents: + Passports (hers, mine, my husband's) + Birth certificate (just hers) + ID (my driver's license) + ID from a relative in China (the agency will provide the required letter) The price was $185 for the 10 year visa and $115 travel agency fee = $300 total. It helped to speak Chinese though the travel agent was able to print me a form in English and helped me with any questions I had while filling it out. Turnaround time is expected to be about a week and you go pick up the passport in person. (I believe getting it mailed is an option for +$50 if I understood correctly.)

I do recommend that if you want to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef you ensure any outing booked is to the exterior reef as ours was to the interior reef, which is nearly dead which is sad and disappointing as I feel I didn't see the live part of the reef. Global weather issues are real and have significantly impacted the reef. There have been some miscommunications, however, I have updated my review as the Agency has reached out to us to address some of our issues. Although airline tickets for some were individually accessed but for 2 of the 6 they were linked and we are not related. The tours are not always as described in the literature provided but our travel agent has asked that we provide feedback so that can be corrected. Our seats were all over the planes not together and we took many flights in Australia and New Zealand. The hotel in Queenstown was nice but sadly under staffed so services were a bit goofy. The hotel in Fox Glacier is under construction and they say the travel agency was notified, however the agency said they had not been notified. When we arrived the lobby was closed for construction and the bus driver kindly did a few loops around to find out what to do and where to go. I was unable to leave a message on the New Zealand line as it just rings, then on the NZ emergency number it would not direct my call to either of the options 1 or 2 and disconnected me. Thankfully the wonderful ladies that were working got their manager to agree to move us to their other property that is not under renovation, although they typically cannot change 3rd party reservations (aka Travel Agent reservations). Proximity of hotels to the central area where shops, restaurants and beaches are located is quite different depending on mobility capabilities so be sure to verify proximity to avoid additional travel expenses. Initially the airlines or travel tour groups were not informed of a gluten free dietary restriction so one person often went hungry although that too has been addressed.

We often put together trips ourselves, but for Australia/New Zealand we needed an expert in the area to help us. We started by first looking at some tour companies. (My cousins used one to go to the same destination.) But none had some of the things we wanted, and I needed a few accommodations. I found three firms online that specialized in this area and that drew my interest. I emailed asking for quotes. Two called and I spoke to the agents, outlining my requests. The Aspire agent responded to a query from my husband on Zicasso. And I let her know (via email and then on the phone) what we needed. She listened to me and provided a quote with items and times that I had requested at a reasonable price. So she was our top pick, and we began to work together to cull the best items for the trip. We never paid a fee until we were ready to book the tour. I worked with Sharon T. And she was amazing. We got the cities we wanted, in the order we wanted, and with a few special accommodations. (For example: With a recent knee surgery, I couldn't climb the 300 steps at the Sydney Opera House, so she booked us an accessible tour. I sometimes have tummy trouble early in the mornings, so mostly I wanted tours that started at 10 am or later. I did have to give in to early times in a few instances, because they were not avoidable. I even had a specific order to the cities we visited, because I wanted to end the trip in Auckland, New Zealand, where we planned to meet with a friend we hadn't seen in more than 30 years.) Suffice it to say that Sharon and I exchanged tons [hundreds? :-)] of emails from May through the end of the trip in October. I even emailed her at least three or four times while on the 19-day trip, and I always got an immediate response (if the timing was right with the 15-17 hour difference). As a former assistant travel editor for a major daily newspaper, I may be more particular than most people and harder to please. Aspire (Sharon) was patient, detailed, and offered stellar service. P.S. The VAMOOS app was incredible. It provided every detail at our fingertips for the entire trip, along with reminders.
