Athens was fantastic. The hotel was beautiful. Perfect location. Incredible service and amenities. Our tour guides, Costas and Katharina could not have been better. They really brought together the old and the new of the city for us. Our dinner on the hotel rooftop was amazing! We ate with a perfect view of the Acropolis. Our flight to Santorini was delayed, but once we arrived in Oia we were overwhelmed by it's beauty! Canaves Oia Suites was spectacular! Breathtaking views, unbelievably helpful and professional staff, unforgettable room, delightful pools and fabulous food. Special mention for Desi who is an exceptional Concierge. She went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. On our hike from Oia to Fira, which was unforgettable, our guide Arsenio was terrific! A few other experiences we had that I have to mention are our food and wine tour with George , yoga with Maria and our catamaran trip with the only all female crew in Oia, Captain Evi and First Mate Vasia. We had a meal prepared on the catamaran that was five star quality! Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and kind. We even had a driver, Spiro who stopped roadside to allow us to watch "the sun dip into the water" at sunset and also pointed out exactly where we could watch the sunrise the next morning, which we did! Spectacular! Every meal was better than the last, from our casual lunch in Imerovgli to our private balcony dinner to our meal at Amani, which can only be reached by boat. Delicious, fresh and wonderful. Santorini wine is also amazing! This trip was truly unforgettable! A perfect way to celebrate our 35th anniversary! It was a bit confusing on how to get to the meet up point for me (make sure you have extra time to get to the train station) but I found the mermaid water fountain next to platform 24 and the Chalet Ciro restaurant. The van had air conditioning and the seats were decently comfy, had a great tour guide, and afterwards we drove to a winery for wine tasting, a charcuterie board with meats and cheeses, and some pasta. I was the only person there alone but I still had a great time! Overall it was a really great experience and I'd book with these guys again!
