Ok my stars goes to the cool smart cart and for the nice employee who helped me figure out the smart cart. So if you want to use the smart shopping cart you need to synch your amazon account than put the paper bags inside. And when you place items inside the bags it adds the item, on the screen you can see your total so it helps you not to overshop. And if you change your mind just take the item out and it will take it out of your total. I was like a kid playing with it lol but if you want there are regular shopping carts where you pay at the register like any other place. Prices ranges but I was careful about what I was purchasing. Now they need alot of improvement especially on the meat section. There was a sad dry looking few pieces of meat which yells people not to buy it. Next time I will take a picture of it if it is still like that. I will say check it out my Yelpzonians especially to play with the smart cart like me :D P.s. they have review stars at the bottom of the items just like it is online. read more

This is a regular grocery store (though maybe a bit overpriced??). I was expecting some futuristic thing where you take what you want and are charged on your Amazon account. Turns out I just placed items in my cart and checked out at a register like any other grocery store. Maybe I missed the point, but not worth coming out of your way to shop here. read more

SHAMEFUL representation of Amazon. For YEARS I keep pointing out to their management that they need some paper towels or napkins by Deli Bar. No change been made! If you spill something..Good Luck, you're on your own! On top of it no different size cups, no utensils, no covered or somehow protected containers and NO HELP from employees. On one side self-weighing carts, on the other clueless employees, no one knows anything, no one cares. Also, what really bothers me is foul smell by meat department. I never bought, and never will buy raw meat here. Checking out process? I feel like my hair is turning grey when waiting for the cashiers to scan my stuff. Then they don't give you any bag if you have only couple of items. People working there are the worst part of this store, they are like soul-less bodies. If they would just break apart their little chatting groups, and would start learning about their workplace, and just do something! It makes me wonder why did they hired them??? Giving them two stars just because some food actually tastes really good! read more

We've been shopping at Amazon fresh for quite a few months, we are always happy with the price of the items that we are looking for sometimes we are amazed at how reasonable some of the prices are. I must say sometimes things are on the higher end but we just wait until they are back at their sale price. Always have plenty in stock. Open late till 10:00 that always works great for us. And the staff is usually very helpful. Nice clean store read more

8/2021 2 stars. Don't have another reason to ever be here. People don't smile. Can't find anything. Empty shelves. Cashiers are the worst. Can't do anything. Refuse to smile. The lady near the customer service booth is the worst. Rude, unhappy, and discourages me every time I am there. Go to Jewel across the street. People know the store. Help customers. Can find things and even tell you where they are in the store. The help here only knows how to push a button on a gizmo and it tells them where to go for something. But only if in an order. Needed to find a sale item. Only a few items on sale. They don't even know what the items are. Can't find that specific one. And several said, they can't look things up on their gizmo scanners. So what use are they? 8/2021 4 stars. I just find it expensive here. No reason to go out of my way to get here. Have a Jewel Osco across the street with much better pricing. 2/2021 4 stars. Visited here for the first time. Used the express carts which was different. Prices were not terrible. But not really different than other places we already shop. We only did the grocery shopping, and did not use the hot foods, bakery, etc. So can't comment on them. Shopping was ok. Have lots of grocery stores around me, so not sure how much we will be using them. Did find it irritating the other Amazon shoppers though. There were a lot and therefore the store was more crowded than it would have been with just customers. Other than that, it is hard to give a negative rating as we saw nothing bad there. Staff were all good and helpful too. read more

Hey Amazon Fresh, your a Billion Dollar Company and your crying over giving your customers one Chicken to many. Went by your food Carvery and got 2 orders of the Chicken Plates. As I have always been doing for the last 6 months, 3x's a week. Today on Tuesday July 20, 2021 at 6pm. I was informed that they will only be giving 1 chicken piece per plate! If you want another piece it will be $2 more! It's not like they give such big pieces of Chicken! Very disappointed in this decision. At the beginning your store was doing great by offering everything fresh and great prices. But now it's all about the profit! Your food, vegetable and employees have lacked offering good service and freshness of food! read more

highly recommended, if you're in the area be sure to check it out. The service is great, very nice people generous and warm

If you're looking for bags of rotten apples or salads that go bad on the drive home from the store, this is the place for you. If you're fussy and want fresh fruits and vegetables for some reason, you'll have to go all the way down the road to Valli or the Jewels. read more

Today I decided to try Amazon Fresh for the 1st time, I put all my information, it took awhile, then I order my groceries. Since the beginning, I put that I wanted my groceries delivered (I don't have a car). I place my order, and it said that my order will be delivered between 8p to 9p today. So we are waiting and waiting for our groceries, to be delivered, nothing was coming, so I call Amazon Fresh Customer Service, and they said the my order was there, but I needed to pick it up??? I explain the that was unacceptable. I put it myself. She said, she could not be changed. I ask to speak to a manager, they past me to a Supervisor, who said that, they can not do anything about that it. That the only thing he can do is refund, and they will put back the money in my card. I was very upset, because it was their mistake, and they didn't do anything to help me. I will not shop at any of Amazon Fresh. Just terrible Customer Service! he so I call to check where the order was? It said that it was in process, so I called Amazon Fresh Customer Service Rep, I talk to a guy there, I ask for a manager. A supervisor came to the phone to tell me, he could do anything for me, he said : That he cannot do anything about my order, and that he could not change the order. read more

I was first impressed by the number of employees who were there to HELP a customer. The store is huge, carts a plenty, and I even used the return to Amazon on a gift I'd received. No hassles, just smiles. Everyone seemed happy to be there. The selection of food items was astounding, and the prices were on items I knew, were exactly the same as a popular supermarket in Hoffman Estates. The produce was fresh and when I brought it home it was excellent. What also impressed me greatly was there are employees with limited abilities, actually, that is a giant plus with me, Stores that employ those who want to work and learn. I did buy a rotisserie chicken and it was a bit of a disappointment, perhaps over done, but it went into a chicken salad so all was saved. I'm going back, Just try it and see, the selection is huge. read more

This place is the COVID capital of Schaumburg. Employees are getting positive Covid results weekly. And they don't practice good measures in fighting the virus. read more

i was there just before closing on friday oct 29th, 2021. the employee at the register, kathy (long, brown hair, probably over 50), was rude and unfriendly. the WHOLE time she was ringing me up, all she did was complain about her job and the store. you really might want to consider not putting such a miserable person at a customer service position. she represented your store extremely poorly and made checking out a rotten experience. read more

Employees at this location are beyond rude multiple employees had bad attitudes and weren't service focused. Several seemed upset to be working. I had two employees speak and treat me like dirt. read more

Stock? Where are the sale items that are advertised in weekly flyers? Empty shelves abound. I was looking for the jumbo breaded shrimp that was advertised at 4.79 and, not only was there none, the label on the freezer unit had the wrong price. We snagged a worker with a scanner who scanned and told us, "oh sorry we don't have any of that even in the back". The sale goes on for another three days. Young workers who never know the answer to your questions are too busy walking around with carts supposedly filling delivery items to respond appropriately and assist the customer. It took 10 minutes with customer service to locate horseradish and then no one knew the price. We did a price check at the register. As I checked out, I inquired of the cashier if they were going out of business to which she replied, "that's a good question". Okay? If the workers have no clue about where to find stock and whether or not the store is going out of business then this place is truly lost as a viable grocery store chain. read more

The first on line delivery was very good. A week later I ordered again, Dec. 27, 2021, and received a smashed quart of milk, smashed 1/2 dozen eggs, and rotten and smashed tomatoes because a frozen water bottle was thrown on top to keep it cold. Spent over a half hour on phone with customer service in Philippines who told me she could credit my credit card in 5-10 minutes. After making mistakes in my email and physical address, matter was "resolved". Then she called me back and said everything she promised to do she could not do. After 30 minutes, the damaged produce was not credited to my credit card, and I hung up the phone and decided to not order from them again. read more

Store is overpriced and empty. Had a coupon that would not come off, but they would not give me credit. I went to my car to get rest of paper, which showed coupon was valid, but they still would not give me the coupon. Trash store, never going back. read more

This is quite possibly the worst grocery store I have ever been into. It started with having to look for a shopping cart. (They must have been all outside). The produce aisle seemed small, unorganized, and not stocked. Really? No fresh mushrooms or 16 oz. pre-packaged cartons? The canned vegetables were a joke. (No beets, no artichoke hearts, and not much else.) When I finally decided to leave and go somewhere else, there was one checkout lane open. The clerk had to look up prices on the produce I did buy and was very slow. Maybe he was a new employee? In any case, this was my first and last time there. Overpriced and extremely disappointing. read more

Everything about Amazon fresh is great except when the delivery labels doesn't specify which unit. Which is annoying when there is more that one order for APARTMENTS!! order get MIXED UP BECAUSE OF THE LABLE DOESNT SAY WHAT UNIT!! So please REVISE your labels for apartment building!!!!!! read more

Poor selection, minimal fish and meat counter, and all the refrigerated sections were closed off and required employee assistance to access; you couldn't even see what products they had behind the curtains, and there were few employees to ask for help. Slow checkout. I finally gave up and did the rest of my shopping at Whole Foods. As a grocery store this was horrible! Having seen it inside I would not even use it for online shopping. read more

We went there for first time with my family and honestly the only thing that makes it special is the Amazon name . It's just a grocery store and Walmart and Valli are still way cheaper when it comes to meats, produce and household products. There were many employees walking around with carts packing bags for online orders ? And one lady just reached for something right in front of us and seemed irritated we were in her way . Like Wow! And they just push past you with no excuse me or anything like we were in the way of their job. Bad training for customer service I think . What do I know ? The only person that was friendly was the employee in the entrance telling customers welcome and good bye. They have these carts where you can just put your items in the bags and it charges your Amazon account . That's cool but not an eye opener for me . My family decided it's not a grocery store for us and will stick to what we know . To each their own right. read more

i went to check out the store i decide to buy some potato salad and coleslaw from there deli i also brought some cat food and juice. i got home and was excited to try the potato salad and coleslaw. the potato salad was the worse i ever had it almost reminded me of soap i had had 2 fork full and that was it. next i tried the coleslaw it was tasteless i tried it and my wife tried it. who ever came up with the recipes should be fired. i went to look for the review site that was on the receipt but never could find it it was a waste of money. the rest of the store is not that impressive only thing that nice about it is you can return amazon online returns there. only time i will go there is in a emergency ill do my shopping at the jewel accross the street read more
