Amazing Thai is an exceptional example of all Thai dishes, soups, and appetizers. Really an excellent example of Thai cuisine.

We walked in on Saturday late afternoon. The place was empty but thankfully it was open. Inside…read moreseemed clean and we were seated right away. All the food that we ordered was excellent. Everything we had was very tasty. Tom yum soup with medium spicy just hit the spot for me. Garlic chicken off the special menu for the day exceeded our expectation and enjoyed the flavor. It's our favorite Thai spot in Anderson!

No complaints about this place. Had good service and food. I ordered the small Tom Yum soup and the…read moreLarb Salad with chicken. I did medium heat on both of them. There was definitely plenty to eat and I took leftovers home. There was a group of us and they did a good job getting everyone waited on and taken care of. The gal across from me may have received the wrong dish as she ordered mild and the dish was too spicy for her but from what I heard in the group everyone else enjoyed their meals. The interior was clean and modern and the chairs were comfortable. We did have a big group and it was a little difficult for some to get into their seats because they set us up at a long seat with single seats on the other side and you really had to scoot in a long way if you sat on the side opposite the single chairs and it is not too easy for us old ladies. The parking was really easy and up close to the building. It may look like it is closed from the Scatterfield Rd side because the cars are all on the other side of the building facing the strip mall. I will say I will definitely be back and likely get takeout for the hubby and I.

Thai here is absolutely delicious. It's flavorful, it's right. But what puts this place in a…read morecategory of it's own is how spicy they can make stuff. It just so happens to be that I love spicy food. The spicier the better, and in a typical Thai kitchen, nobody can make the food spicy enough. Ever. In fact, I started coming up with these challenges for the chefs. So when the waiter asks how spicy do I want it, I'd say something like: "tell the chef to make it as spicy as he can", or "hit me with all they got". At Jay's, when the waitress asked me how spicy do I want it, I said: "tell the chef that if he can't make me cry, I'm not paying for it." So I issued this challenge all over US and Canada, and nobody ever came close to me saying that it was spicy. Jay's Thai Food in Marion, Indiana did. I cried, I hiccuped, I sweated. I regretted giving the challenge. Tom Yum soup was absolutely delicious and it was the spiciest thing I ever ate. Well done.

I recently ordered carry out from Jay's Thai in Marion. I ordered pineapple fried rice. I have…read moreordered it a couple of times before and enjoyed it. This time it was different. The flavor was "off" It tasted like curry powder from the local grocery store, and definitely didn't have Thai flavors. Also, I could not find any pineapple pieces in the fried rice- zero, zip! I wonder if they simply forgot it? The service was fine for carry out. My food was ready and hot when I picked it up.
