I was very disappointed with the gel manicure I had. Within 4 hours the first nail had chipped and by the end of the first week 8 of my nails were chipped. I went in to have the first chip fixed and there was no apology or anything. They also don't have anyone who is able to do any designs. My daughters have had excellent service in the past, but the girl they used, Diem (?), is no longer there. I will not go back to this salon. read more

I was so excited about this place, but unfortunately the main employee working was very rude. I felt so shamed when I walked in that I immediately left. Don't know if it was just an off day for her, but I did not want to give my business after that experience. read more

I came in with my mom to get two pedicures. They said they could take us in and to just pick the color and wait in the front for 10 minutes. We both were seated, and someone started on my mom right away. I sat next to her and waited with my feet in the water for her entire pedicure. I thought maybe the lady doing her pedicure would do mine right after since the other techs kept taking in new clients and ignoring me. There were 4 other techs working. However, when my mom's tech finished, she just went in the back and didn't come out until a new walk-in customer came in. I had to wait until another tech was done with a separate pedicure. My tech was nice and reheated the water, but the owner (I'm assuming) didn't apologize or even acknowledge that I'd been waiting for an hour with my feet in cold water. She was just chit chatting with another customer (that came in after me). I'm not the type to cause a scene at all. I kept looking at the owner, but she wouldn't even look at me or acknowledge how long I'd been waiting. Won't be coming back here again. If you cannot take walk-ins, don't say you can. It was a waste of time and honestly I felt disrespected. read more

I've been a customer of Chau Li's from day one, even b4 she went into business for herself. Her and her team has always done an outstanding job. The prices are very fair. They are very clean. They are not up tight. The dip nails are my favorite, and they always last for 6 to 8 weeks before I need a redip. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Made an appointment, which meant completely nothing. Got there 10 minutes early for the manicure, seated on time at 3pm. They began the process for removing my gel nail polish at 3:04pm and I didn't have someone come and address the acetone burning my nails and skin until 3:58 pm. They left me in the back seat with foil and acetone for almost an hour. Completely unacceptable. WITH APPOINTMENTS. Then proceeded to give me the worst manicure I've ever received. There are bubbles all over my gel polish, polish on my skin, etc. worst manicure I've ever gotten. My sister and mother came here for their appointed time as well and received compels crap service despite appointments. read more

I used to be a frequent client but I caught on to "soaking" for 3 hours at a time with an appointment and watched many "white women" walk in and out in those 3 hours I was supposedly "soaking." Once it died down then and only then would I finally get my mani done. So for many years I avoided this place like the plague because of being treated like dirt and rushed out every single time. Well today after 3 years I gave them a shot they said they could take a walk in so I got a pedi done and it was done great. However, when the lady doing my pedis client walked in she became rude and trying to rush me out and said you pay and come back later for mani when they agreed it could be done and said my appointment has been waiting and she shouldn't need to wait. But when I had appointments previously they took better care of walk-ins or white woman and made me wait 3 hours every single appointment. If you are a minority don't bother going here. They only care about "white women". It's sad because no service is cheap and respect is key both ways I'm always respectful. read more

Reservations apparently meaningless. They don't use new tools on feet. My sister loves coming here for her manicures though. read more

I would NOT recommend getting your nails done here. I asked for dip...didn't get that I ended up getting just regular nail polish because they didn't have time when there was no one waiting. I came back another time and the service was fine nails and toes were both done well. It's unpredictable with the color, service, and time. We called 1 hour before hand to see if they were available they said yes...we came 1 hour later and they said that they were unavailable for us to get a pedicures and we left and stated we weren't coming back again! read more

Would NOT recommend going here! Terrible customer service WITH a scheduled Appt. Read for details!! I just walked out of Amazing Nails & Spa out on Allen Rd. The woman who answers the phones typically (who after I asked no less than six times) said her name was Lee, has done something similar to this three out of the four times I have come in to get my nails done. I called yesterday to schedule my appt and was VERY detailed because I know this woman wants specifics. When I arrived at my Appt today, this same woman instantly began arguing with me with what I said on the phone and I assured her I had mentioned exactly what I need. I brush it off, and then she comes back to tell me I also didn't say several other specifics on the phone and they need to have someone special come in and do my nails. (And this is LITERALLY an acrylic set removal and replacement with a design. I was even willing to change what I originally said if they couldn't do it. I wasn't asking for something that is not standard at any salon.) Which I reply that I am happy to do a simple color if it's an inconvenience, but I again mentioned I said what I needed on the phone. Because I truly did, no question about it. Ten minutes later, I am still being told I am wrong and I didn't say what I did on the phone. I was belittled and berated in front of several customers, as well as mocked for saying she has done this to me before. So, needless to say, I paid the $17 I was charged to have my acrylic set removed and walked out with bare nails. Never have I ever walked out on a business, nor have I honestly ever needed to, like truly needed to. I know there a lot of influencers on social media who go to this place, but I would like to share my experience to give you insight if you DO decide to pay for their services. This is unacceptable and I truly felt berated in front of the other customers for simply coming in for the exact Appt I scheduled. I love supporting local businesses but I also think these businesses should be held accountable and admit when they are in the wrong. This business did not. This is the third and last time I will be publicly humiliated and shamed for setting up an Appt over the phone at this business. read more

This place is really good! Anna is seriously the best and can do the coolest designs ever!!! But all the staff seems really good, talented, and professional. I had my toes done by someone other than Anna (cant remember her name) and was super good too! read more

Horrible customer service!!! Got a full set of acrylics and gel polish! Took an hour and a half and the polish started bubbling and peeling off 9 hours later!! Will never come back and will never recommend to anyone! Very over priced for the work received! read more

This place is one of the busiest nail salons I have ever been too. While this may be a deterrent some people, I believe this indicates they are an excellent salon. The staff are quick and efficient at their job. They are always willing to take walk ins, no matter how busy they are and manage to get you in a chair and your manicure or pedicure started quickly. The quality of their work is outstanding, every gel manicure I have gotten has lasted three weeks without chipping! They also have two artists who know how to do the latest designs (marble, holographic...)! Their prices are some of the lowest I have seen in the Peoria area. I would highly recommend getting your nails done here. It may not be the fanciest salons in Peoria but I think it is one of the best! read more

I would never recommend this place. I have been in for various services several times and every time is an awful experience. Beware! The second time I went in I waited for over 40 min for a manicure despite having an appointment. I ended up leaving my friend there, driving to Walmart buying polish on my own and coming back to pick her up. She still wasn't done. I never got an apology from anyone that works there or really any explanation why so late. The next time I went in for a pedicure I was offered a drink and I got a water. My friend asked if they serve wine so I got one as well. When I checked out after the service my bill was much higher than the posted price. Apparently they charge for the 2nd drink without bothering to tell you. The third visit I had I dropped a bottle of nail polish which splattered all over me, my boots purse and clothes. My friend, her clothing and bag. I apologized, cleaned up and nobody said a word. Again, despite having an appointment we waited 20 minutes to get started. When checking out my bill was 10 dollars higher than it should have been. They charged me 10 dollars for an old bottle of nail polish that was 1/4 full. They wouldn't have even told me why the bill was so high except I asked and they said oh it's for the bottle of nail polish you broke. Their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever seen. I will tell everyone I know to not Go there and support this business. read more

My experience at Amazing Nails was above average. Technicians didn't speak much but that's what I prefer, especially since I had company. They responded accordingly. I received a gel manicure and reg. pedicure. Pictures are of about 3.5 weeks of growth after manicure and with a white manicure the color has not faded or yellowed, they have not chipped which is impressive bc I am a server who washes their hands a 1000x a day, as well as not chipping at the gym. The combo allowed me to relax in a massage chair while having my feet and hands massaged. Color choices were fairly large and price point was in the 70$ with tip. Overall I was very happy with my experience contrary to what many have posted about. The only way it could've gotten 5 stars is if the woman asking me about what color I wanted had not been so hasty and kinda rude. Probably just how she speaks but it was a little harsh for my taste. Otherwise I enjoyed my experience overall. Just a tip * bring pictures and be very clear about what you want done to your nails before going in. It makes the process a lot easier read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. Me and my friend went to get our nails done and she got them done and I sat in the pedicure chair for and hour and a half with no service. I eventually just left with my friends because they couldn't give me an explaination as to why I had no service. The lady that gave me a massage left with her grandkid to get him toys next store at dollar tree and then came back and did laundry. She did fill up my water and replaced it with warm water. read more
