I went to this nail salon previously in the past for a dip manicure, the nails lasted less than a…read moreweek then started chipping. After going to a few other places and talking to experienced nail techs, I realized it was because nail spa does not use base coat for dip. Recently, I thought I'd give it another try because it is closer to my home. I went back for a dip manicure. The manager tried to say it didn't matter to use the base coat, people only do that to use less dip color. She blamed my nails not lasting on the fact they may not have dried all the way, whatever. Well, I ended up getting them done. I spent $56 plus a $7 tip. My nails started chipping in about a week with six of my ten nails. By the time I arranged to go back, it was on day 10. She said that it was because I use my fingers and dip only lasts 2 weeks. I was frustrated, and just had them soak my nails off and I left. A WASTE of 63$ Mind you, I have had dip on my nails for years without this problem. The past two times, she kept asking me why I'm coming there if other places do better. Well, now I will be sure not to come back. I knew better than to give that place another chance. Highly do NOT recommend if you are looking for a longer lasting dip manicure!!!

Cleanliness was a huge issue for me. This is my first time here since the new owners took over. I…read moregot just general gel nails so nothing hard and got just that. apart from getting my skin filed more than my actual nails the nails themselves are fine. Where the visit was bad was in the cleanliness of the shop. Just at my seat there were nail trimmings from other people. The tools used on me were dirty and she wiped the previous clients skin trimmings off befmore trimming around my nails. everything was covered in nail dust and looked like nothing had been cleaned/wiped down in a long time if ever. After clipping up my nails, the washcloth that was catching the trimmings was hung over the drawer holding supplies and my skin trimmings got dumped into the drawer. It was just so dirty and I won't be back.

I can't remember the guys name that did my nails but he was the only male I saw working there. He did absolutely fantastic! He took his time on every single step and detail. The wait wasn't the problem but I've only had them done for a little under a week almost all of my acrylics nails have cracked to point that they are most likely going to break all of the way of soon. She didn't measure my nails like put them side by side on each to see if they were even or close to even so when I realized it I had to have her fix it. They are also pretty streaky and she sent my friend out before her nails were even close to being dry so she could start on someone in her family's nails for homecoming.

We both were seated, and someone started on my mom right away. I sat next to her and waited with my feet in the water for her entire pedicure. I thought maybe the lady doing her pedicure would do mine right after since the other techs kept taking in new clients and ignoring me. There were 4 other techs working. However, when my mom's tech finished, she just went in the back and didn't come out until a new walk-in customer came in. I had to wait until another tech was done with a separate pedicure. My tech was nice and reheated the water, but the owner (I'm assuming) didn't apologize or even acknowledge that I'd been waiting for an hour with my feet in cold water. She was just chit chatting with another customer (that came in after me). I'm not the type to cause a scene at all. I kept looking at the owner, but she wouldn't even look at me or acknowledge how long I'd been waiting. Won't be coming back here again. If you cannot take walk-ins, don't say you can. It was a waste of time and honestly I felt disrespected.
