I have been getting my lashes done by Amazing Lash Studio in Florida & paid for a membership for years. I recently moved to AZ so I transferred my services to the studio closest to my house. I got my lashes done and 20 minutes after I left the salon I got a phone call from the RUDEST, most disgusting person from the salon. He demanded that I come back and pay for my lashes (mind you I have a membership and my debit account is billed monthly). I'm not sure if this was his first day but I tried to explain to him that I have a MEMBERSHIP therefore I don't have to pay immediately at that time. He then went to THREATEN to call the cops for theft of services!! I was completely shocked and upset that this 'salon front desk staff' would accuse me of stealing, and then threaten me. I immediately called my home salon in Florida (who again are wonderful) and they said they would call this 'guy' and explain the terms of the membership program, which he obviously wasn't aware of, and it's not my responsibility to teach him! I refuse to be addressed and treated this way by ANYONE. Membership CANCELLED. read more

UPDATE ON THE BELOW REVIEW) I did talk to the manager and after me having to help her understand the math that one of the workers did wrong she finally admitted they overcharged me. They only overcharged me by about six dollars but the fact that I had to call in point that out and then talk to her for a while before she caught on or admitted it it's just not OK. Then the only way to refund me the overcharge was me having to drive all the way down there and have them put it on my card which was incredibly inconvenient for me since I don't live anywhere near there. She then said she would call me back after trying to find a solution to get me my refund and it has been a few months and I haven't heard back at all. Crickets. If the amount was more substantial you can but I would be calling them but I'm too exhausted to deal with this anymore. If I were you I wouldn't trust this company since they obviously don't know how to ring things up and if they do it incorrectly they apparently do not fix it for you. Whoa worst customer service ever. I called to ask how many credits I had left and the person who answered couldn't tell me as it wasn't my home studio. I don't know which one I went to first so I don't know which is my home one. I was annoyed that she couldn't tell me but I wasn't being mean or rude, yet I wasn't faking being happy either. The receptionist hung up on me and when I called right back she said she did it because "she could tell I was upset with her and assumed I was done with the conversation". Then she refused to tell me her name and when I asked for a manager she just said "she's not in right now". No offer to leave a message or say when she might be in... when I called her out on that she started telling me all the things I had done wrong in the conversation!!!! Like what is going on here I'm the customer who was disappointed yet now she's telling ME all the things I did wrong!! Unbelievable!! I could not get her to tell me her name and she kept saying "it doesn't matter". I'm not here to get anyone fired but dang that girl needs major training and to be held accountable for how she feels she can treat customers. Not ok. read more

I recently got the new 6D lashes and wanted to wait a few weeks before giving my review of this new and pretty awesome product. Before going for the volume lashes I cut my lash teeth on the Lash Studio "Gorgeous" style lashes. For those who are new to lashes, I strongly recommend starting out with individual lashes before going to volumes. My lash artist, Jordan, is great. She gave me all of the info i needed to get started in the lash extension world and consulted with me on the volumes, taking into account my eye shape and natural lashes. She encouraged me to wait until the new volumes came out before going for volume lashes and that was the best advice. The best things in life are worth waiting for and the new Amazing Lash Studio 6D lashes can be included in that list. The 6D lashes are high volume without the weight. They look natural and feel amazing. I couldn't be more pleased. If you're looking for a great lash place, look no further than Amazing Lash Studio and if you're headed to Desert Ridge, ask for Jordan, she's amazing! Not the friendliest staff at all and all about productivity versus the customer. Very rude people. It was noisy. The music in the room was loud and distracting. The tech didn't take time out to explain what she was doing. The end results looks ok but didn't look like a paid for professional services. I'm not the type who complains but I have to be honest. Well I thought I would be thrilled with my eye lashes but I was very underwhelmed. I felt like a number, they pushed the monthly membership on me so much I was so irritated. The eyelash girl who did my eyelashes glued the a couple of lashes to my lower eyelid and was very painful to get it unglued. Additionally, I walked in expecting to pay $89 for my first set as a new client but what they don't tell you is that unless you pick the very basic and natural look which is what the $89 cost is, you can walk out having to pay $150. The eyelash tech told me that it would cost an additional $10 if I wanted the 3D look so I agreed to Pay the $10 more but when I checked out I was being charged $149 so I was not happy. The owner and/or manager reluctantly agreed to only charge me $89 due to the miscommunication but it was as if she was doing me a favor. I don't care if I have pay $200 as long as the professionalism, customer service, and beautiful eyelashes are provided without pain. So disappointing! I am going to get my eyelashes fixed as they do not feel comfortable but I will be going to a different salon. read more

This place has been an absolute disaster to be a member of. My first appointment , the lady would not stop cussing , she was talking bad about her place of work the entire time, and was very unpleasant. Every time I have had to have someone new . I had a fan dropped on my eye because she was too busy on her phone . I have had 2 trips that have ended up in me leaving without a refill, one of them they removed my lashes and made me schedule another appointment to get a FULL SET; which I had to pay for . All of my friends that get their lashes done are paying half of what I am and are much happier than me with Amazing Lash Studio. read more

Jordan is an amazing stylist. I have been to Desert Ridge Amazing Lash 10+ times for full sets and refills, and have not been disappointed. The front desk staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Before coming to Amazing Lash Studio, I went to beautifeye. I tried this place out since it was near my home, and I needed a new place to go to (as beautifeye changed their prices and switched to a required monthly payment). I came in and asked to make an appointment for a fill, but they told me I had to completely remove my existing lashes- which I said would be fine. I filled out my paper work and they booked me for the following day in the morning. When I showed up to my appointment, the women doing my lashes told me that I didn't need a full set (which is 80$) , and she could just do a normal fill. I told her that the lady at the front desk told me I needed to remove them, but she insisted it would be fine to just do a fill instead. I said okay. Throughout my entire appointment, she never asked if I was comfortable, what's lashes I was looking for, if I needed anything, etc. I was disappointed by this because every other studio I have been to has been extremely accommodating and personable, while this woman did not say a single word after insisting on doing a fill instead. The woman doing my lashes rested her hand all over my face throughout the appointment, which I understand but she was putting so much pressure on my face which did not feel good. I could also smell whatever she had eaten for breakfast, which is gross. She also pulled out some of my real lashes, which hurt and was extremely uncomfortable. Her tweezers got caught a few times between my lashes as well which also hurt. When I was finished, my lashes looked okay. There were still many blank spots and they didn't look very nice or full. Definitely not what I was expecting. I went up to pay, and they still charged me 80$ (the price of a first time full set). This was, in my opinion, unbelievable to change someone 80$ for a one week fill. I will not be going back and would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. I am not one to leave bad reviews- but I have been to a few lash studios and this was by far the one that had the worst lashes and worst customer service. read more

I had high hopes for this place because I was referred here by someone I trust. It's a relatively new location, so maybe the employees are new too, I'm not sure. I was needing a quick fill on my lashes because I have an interview Monday and my regular girl (who does not work at ALS) did not have openings. My stylist decided that I needed a full set instead of a fill and I figured she would suggest that because I had lost quite a few extension on my right eye. That's when everything went down hill. I could go on with all the details, but I'll keep this short and just say that I left there with my lashes looking a lot worse than when I arrived. Unfortunately there is NO fixing it because she removed so many of my natural lashed when she took off the old set. SO bummed I could cry! read more

I've been doing lash extensions for 4 months now. I've done this location and the one in Colorado. Laura here is AMAZING and so kind and sweet and gentle. She did an amazing job on my eyelashes. I had Carly a few times and saw no difference when getting my lashes done. I made 30 min touch ups with Carly and in the middle of my session she said she changed it to an hour without my permission and no heads up. I asked for a 30 min only and she stated she could only do one eye for that amount. She wasn't very professional and would not recommend her. I will only go to Laura and no one else! My 16-year-old daughter made an independent decision to get eye lash extensions with her own hard-earned money. She went into the Amazing Lash Studio without me and asked about their service and prices - then made an appointment but required me to attend since she's a minor (understandable). However, I discussed the prices with my daughter and discovered they were going to charge her $150.00 for her first session (their web site states $79.99 without any "exceptions" listed). Obviously, I asked why so much and she said, "The ladies at Amazing Lash said since my appointment was after 5:00 pm, I needed to see the 'master stylist' and pay extra for her." Really, an extra $40.00? Well, I called another location and asked for a late appointment and low and behold, NO ADDITIONAL costs??? Hmm, my instincts tell me the Desert Ridge location staff saw a young, teenage girl walk into their studio without an adult, assumed she had money (my daughter dresses very well and takes extremely good care of herself) and thought they'd swindle this kid out of extra cash! Well, not today! Go rip off someone else's kid and when you do, make sure they don't have a mom who has two degrees in business management - your 'extra' fee is not necessary! read more

I had a totally wonderful experience! The staff were all so generous and made me feel very comfortable, and my lashes look stunning!!! They called me 2 days prior to verify my appointment, and upon walking in the staff was very welcoming. They thoroughly explained the process to me and helped me choose what style I wanted and would best fit me. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. I have gotten my lashes done two times before and this was by far the most professional setting I have been to. The stylists make you comfortable and you are given a blanket and pillow to make yourself even more comfortable during the process ( and I actually took a little nap because of how comfy I was )!!!! Please do not see JORDAN if you want to get your eyelashes done at this location. I love the classic look, which is a one to one ratio (One eyelash extension to one eyelash) I have been seeing Jordan for several months and a lot of my eyelashes were going different directions and the extensions were grown out way past my lash line with multiple lash extensions stuck to one another ! I went to another location to get a mini fill and she informed me that a lot of my extensions were clumped together (also saved the eyelashes to show me proof) and informed me that I should start using an eyelash grower because my natural lashes seem to be thinning out and need a lot of work! She also informed me that this should have never happen, because they are required to replaced the eyelash extensions that have grown out too much! This is pure laziness, I am very disappointed in the quality of service from supposedly a "MASTER STYLIST" that I paid EXTRA for ! read more

Also, literally laugh in your face when you question it out of simple curiosity. I will never return to this location at Desert Ridge (which is an absolute nightmare to drive in or out of)! Everybody was really nice and professional however when my lashes were finished it hardly looked like anything was added to my natural lashes. I thought maybe I just had to adjust it to them so I went home and later on callback to explain that it really didn't look like anything was at at the front desk try to say that it was because of my natural lashes they couldn't add anymore. The ones that they did add we're very stiff and felt like plastic they are not the mink lashes. It cost me $100 when I could have done a better job myself. Not worth the expense read more

The front desk staff super friendly and welcoming. They answered all the questions I had about eyelash extensions since it was my first time. I saw Dana and got the 6D lashes. There dramatic and make me look like I have way more lashes than I actually have. It has been 3 weeks since my first time in and my lashes still look awesome but it's probably time for me to book for my fill now. I got one of the kits to take care of my lashes and I think that's why they have lasted so long. Since I signed up for the membership that same day there were benefits they gave me and they even told me about a rewards program they have going on where you can get a free refill after so many visits! Went to this studio back in November because my regular girl was booked and needed to get my lashes done before leaving To go out of town. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. They make you choose from a sheet of paper what type of lashes you want and when the girl took me back, she insisted that I do the classics, probably because she couldn't do the other styles. The entire time she decided to talk about politics and it made me super uncomfortable. There are some things that should be left unsaid and she clearly had no common sense. When we finished, my lashes felt like they were a hard cheap plastic. My eyes were red and irritated and she showed me and I almost started to cry. After getting my lashes done professionally since April and now seeing this bullshit that was put on my eyes was horrific. I've never been so mortified. I just wanted to get out of the store asap. The lash tech tried to get me to buy mascara, which should never be put on your lashes, ever. And she continued to insist. The ladies up front even noticed it. When she walked away I politely told the front lady I wasn't going to be buying that. They looked at my lashes too with horror. I sent pictures to my regular lash tech and she told me to get them removed asap. I called the next day and sent the manager pictures of my lashes which she took hours to get back to me and insisted that I come back in to get them fixed. I told her that I didn't want anyone there touching my eyes ever again and that I was getting them removed. I had to go to a different amazing lash where they charged me $40 to remove the lashes. Which was also incredibly wrong considering it was less than 24 hours. I was refunded my $80 for my full set but still don't want anyone else to ever go through what I did. read more

I have been getting my lashes done at Amazing Lash Studio at McDowell Mountain Ranch for almost two years now - I've never had a problem with them and absolutely love that location. That being said, I have been to the Desert Ridge location for convenience (it's closer to my house) a few times. The first two were right when they opened, and my lashes looked okay, but I went yesterday for a fill and did not have a great experience. The woman at the front desk was very nice and welcoming, however my lash tech was the complete opposite. I wasn't able to catch her name because she mumbled under her breath and didn't smile or even look at me when we talked. Through the entire service, she was extremely rough and would stop for minutes at a time with no explaining what she was doing. She also left the door open the whole time, with no music in the room. So I listened to vacuuming, employees yelling down the hall, and another employee came in to yell goodbye at my lash tech during my appointment - far from a relaxing and calm experience. When we were all finished, many of my lashes were stuck to the bottom lashes and instead to gently taking the tweezers to get them off, she just pulled my eyelids apart with her fingers. I've never had a lash tech do that before! When it was time to go, she stayed in her seat and didn't even look up while muttering "bye...". I opened the door myself and walked myself out. Usually, at the McDowell Mountain location, the tech will open the door and walk me out and say "have a great day!". It really takes so little effort to make your customer feel welcomed and happy! I spoke to the woman at the front desk who said she would give me a $10 credit. I woke up this morning with extremely bloodshot, swollen, and sore eyes - again, I've been getting my lashes done by Amazing Lash for 2 years and have NEVER experienced anything like this.
