This Amazing Lash location on FLW in Scottsdale is by FAR my favorite studio now! While other AL locations deliver results also, this one is my new go-to going forward. Period. You may be wondering, "Well, what the heck is so awesome about this particular studio anyways, Erin?" Fair question - please allow me to break it down for you below: 1. A true shining star Stylist works at this location. This talented miracle worker is Silvana! Note: She's a "newer" Stylist as she had shared this with me when I tried her for the first time. Admittedly, I was a little nervous to see her work but quickly changed my mindset to being open minded; I relayed back to Silvana that I'll reserve my judgment until I see a mirror. She just chuckled and said that I won't be disappointed. She is very meticulous and gentle while applying extensions. Made sure I was comfortable and would use water mister/fan occasionally to relieve the glue fumes stinging my eyes. We also have the best "organic" conversations and I feel like I'm with a good friend! What were the end results on my first appointment with her? Exceeded my expectations completely; I had the full volume with length done and they were uniform and flawless! Sold - I highly recommend Silvana to anyone here. 2. I have been getting eyelash extensions for over five years, and I have never experienced damage like this. A few months ago, I booked an appointment online at this location, assuming that any technician assigned to me would be properly trained. Unfortunately, I left my appointment with the majority of my natural lashes glued together. I returned to have the issue corrected, but after the "fix," my lashes were even more stuck together than before. At that point, I was advised to have the extensions removed. What should have been a 30-minute removal took over an hour and a half because my lashes were so badly adhered together. During the removal, nearly half of my natural lashes were pulled out. I was then advised to take a break from lash extensions to allow my lashes to recover. Because I was outside of their 72-hour policy, the salon would not issue a refund. While I understood their policy, I decided to place my membership on hold, expecting my lashes to heal within a reasonable amount of time. It has now been over a month, and my lashes are still significantly damaged. When I called to discuss the situation, the manager informed me that because my membership had been placed on hold, I would now have to pay another $220 for a full set--even though I cannot safely get extensions because of the damage caused during my previous appointments. Had I known my natural lashes would be damaged for months due to poor application, I would have canceled my membership immediately. I gave this company the benefit of the doubt, but after this experience, I cannot recommend them. They have taken no accountability for the damage caused, and the lack of concern for both the quality of their work and their customer service has been extremely disappointing read more

I am not one to leave a negative review on yelp but I am very disappointed with the product I received from Amazing Lash Studio. The customer service was a 10/10. Everyone there was super friendly and very helpful. However, my full set of lash extensions lasted me 5 days. By day 5 they were looking sparse as if I had gotten them done 3 weeks ago. I never leave a negative review without first thoroughly attempting to resolve problems directly with a business. My wife and I both on multiple occasions now have unsuccessfully tried with this one. In November she lost a significant amount of her eyelashes due to illness. She went to this studio on three occasions but was not satisfied: they looked as false as they were after only a few days. She quit going. Turned out this business had cut her remaining lashes completely in half. Despite that she did not wish to return; her only option being to let them regrow. This franchise's owner, and the parent company both refuse to even discuss much less resolve unhappy (now prior!) clients. I called both more than once, and emailed (only response was auto-generated and made no sense, but I won't belabor that). What's worse, this business charges her credit card nearly $200/month. She contacted her credit card issuer and they processed/approved payments for two months of these charges because they were valid for the three visits. However her credit company indeed reversed the following nearly $400 in additional, disputed new ones. Ones in which she not only was provided no services, she also requested cancellation of her "membership." Despite all this, on April first, sure enough she incurred another new charge on that same card by this business (nearly another $200). She has no recourse other than to cancel her card and obtain a new one- like so many other reviewers unfortunately. What is even worse, I now, obviously because they captured my cell number, receive their daily spam-solicitation text messages.* *my profile photo is of me. Lately. Do I look like I get fake eyelashes? I'm bald. I've blocked this incoming text's source twice now. Yet today, rather than being contacted by either the franchisor or its local location (this one) to resolve these multiple issues, instead I am still receiving mass-marketing messages. I truly dislike writing such reviews, and waited reasonably long enough for any form of resolution. I received none. I've had eyelash extensions done at several other salons before, so I understand the normal shedding process, aftercare, and upkeep expectations. Unfortunately, this experience was not comparable to the quality I've received elsewhere. Within 24 hours, nearly half of my lashes had already fallen out. I gave the salon an opportunity to correct the issue, but even after the fix, all of the lashes were gone within a week. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering the cost and time involved. What made the experience more frustrating was that I had signed up for a membership expecting ongoing quality service, but after this experience, I no longer felt comfortable continuing. Despite the poor results, I was told I could not cancel the membership without additional charges. I understand that occasional issues can happen, but the quality, retention, and customer service did not meet expectations. The lash techs and receptionist staff are really good! I really loved Shae, she is amazing. However, the business practices of this franchise location are highly suspicious. Their cancellation policy is manipulative. I had an allergic reaction even to the sensitive glue, so I had them taken off and asked to cancel. They make it VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL because you can only do it through email, which makes absolutely no sense to me as I was physically in the studio.. they know if they email you to cancel, it may be missed and then they get to keep charging you. I never got a text reminder either. A good business practice would be to email AND follow up with a phone call confirming the cancellation. So they got me for 358.00. I asked if I could gift it to a friend, they said no- but willing to check again. The poor executive business acumen does not represent the lash techs and staff. I hate to give a mediocre rating, but the way a business is run is as important as the service received. read more

Do NOT sign up for the membership. I'm done. It's nearly impossible to cancel a membership with this place, and when they finally do, you could be left with credits you can't use. I asked to cancel due to how damaged my lashes were, and they recommended a freeze... but now I learn you can't cancel while on a freeze. They will reactivate your account, charge you, and then cancel it. Seems incredibly shady to me... class action lawsuit anyone?! The amount of hassle this has been is insurmountable. Freezing and canceling can not be done in the store or online. It's through non-fillable PDFs you email. So you have to print, fill out by hand, scan, and email it back... and be assured that it will take over another week for them to even process it. Just junky business practice. A chain like this should have better processes than this! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! read more

I have been going to this location for lash extensions and the 2 week fills for awhile now and have had no complaints, recently I made a personal decision to switch from lash extensions to just my natural lashes with a lift and tint. So I got my extensions taken off and today I got my lashes "lifted and tinted" I put the quotation marks there because I thought that was the service I was getting. After a VERY short appointment where the perm solution was only on my eyelashes FOR 5 MINUTES I walked out looking the exact same as I walked in. After some extensive research I now know that you should leave the perm solution on for ATLEAST 15 minutes and I'm shocked that the "licensed lash tech" didn't know this. It was a nice guy, I never caught his name but he had pink streaks in his hair, despite his kindness the job he did on my eyelashes is an F'ing joke. I have had lash lifts in the past at different locations and the perm solution sat on my eyelashes for much longer than 5 minutes. I hope for the sake of your future business you properly teach your lash techs how to a lash lift. I will be leaving photo evidence as well to further prove the horrendous job he did. read more

I don't have the words to describe how disappointed I am with this salon. But this is what happens when you listen to the ads on Facebook! The technician that I had only had 5 months of experience and it showed! Basically I had a full set of lash extensions put on this afternoon...and after leaving in a state of shock then crying hysterically for 3 hours about how awful they looked, I went back in tonight and had them taken off. There was no initial consultation, no directions for how to take care of the lash extensions, no real concern that I was obviously upset at the end of the appointment. What I did get was a bunch of fake Scottsdale "we are so sorry" but nobody was willing to do anything about it. After 3 unanswered phone messages , the manager Ashley finally called me back. Apologized several times and said she got my messages but was working between two locations and would make sure my funds were returned to my account. My messages I left stated " I had frozen my account in May and yet ever since $ was taken from my account June , July and August." Ashley stated she got my messages and the payments would be refunded back into my account". I checked my bank account and 1 month was refunded to my account. Now once again I contact Amazing Lashes and ask for Ashley she gets on the phone I explain to Ashley that 3 months were removed without my permission from my account not just 1. Ashley said let me take a look at your account, she states "oh yes I see that I will have those funds refunded to your account and I've made sure your account is frozen thru September." I told Ashley , the funds should have been in my account for ALL 3 months when you refunded 1 month You can remove my account from your files I will no longer be using your services, Ashley said ok ..... I wouldn't have changed my mind after all this terrible customer service from the manager but I would have thought Ashley would have apologized this phone conversation and she did not she just said " Ok ". I love this place. I've never done my lashes before a month ago, and I decided to try Amazing Lash after a few recommendations from friends and it definitely lives up to the hype! The staff are so friendly and attentive, know your name when you come in and really give you great service. Kaiya did my lashes perfectly and knew exactly what I wanted even though I was a little nervous and unsure how to explain it to her! If you're looking to treat yourself and enjoy a little pampering, this is the place! :) Just a note - masks are required for both clients and staff, which is great, as well as separate rooms for all customers during their appointments and temperature readings upon checking in at the front desk. I'm giving this a salon a five point review. The first lady I went to was in training and she probably needs to train for another year before I can truly say that she did a great job on my eyelashes because I have one hand one they are so when I came out. The receptionist said she was going to give me another appointment the next day due to some conflict in communication between my daughter-in-law and the manager I didn't get to go for three more days where I got a full set and I was happy with it. I had never had this type of procedure done before the first time it took like an hour and a half the second time I think I was in there for two hours. I still not understanding the process, but I was due to do a cruise the next week so I really needed my eyelashes to look beautiful before I got off the ship every day a lash was coming out and then I was told that I would have to go to them for them to take them off, so what I did was I just put some Vaseline on my eyelashes in two days later they were all off, so I never went back to take them off like I said, I do not understand the process, but I won't do it again.
