I booked an appointment with a lash tech named Cash as a thoughtful gift for my wife, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Although my wife has been an Amazing Lash Studio customer in different locations for over 3 years, she has had the worst experience at this location. While Cash had a pleasant attitude, the experience was anything but professional. It was supposed to be a calm and relaxing appointment, but instead it was chaotic and stressful from start to finish. There were constant loud noises--metal tools being thrown into a tray over and over again, creating sharp, jarring sounds in my wife's ears that ruined any sense of peace. The tech kept dropping items on the floor, on the tray, and even on my wife. To make matters worse, she was frequently checking her phone during the session, and my wife could hear every text notification and vibration echoing through her body as the tech had her phone right next to her head. The tech's music through her earphones was blasting way too loud, and at one point, she burned my wife's right eye. When my wife spoke up about the pain, all she got in response was "it's gonna delay the process," with zero concern or apology. My wife came home crying because of how terrible and careless the whole experience was. And her right lash looks untouched and completely different than her left lash. She then told the manager, who seemed nice, but didn't take any action, just listened and brushed it off. This was deeply disappointing. Sloppy work, unprofessional behavior, and no accountability. I just moved to Katy and didn't want to drive 45 minutes to an hour drive to get my lashes done. So I goggled Katy lash and picked Amazing Lash Studio. From the time I walked into the door I until I left was so pleasant. My lash tech was Jacqueline (Jackie) great tech. I showed her a lash I had for the style I wanted. She absolutely WOWED me!!!! Don't use this franchise location! When I signed up for membership I asked for a date change in auto draft and I was signed up for two drafts so more money came out than I planned. I asked to speak to someone about this problem and the front desk girl said Mgr told her to tell me there are "no refunds". When I asked for MGR's name I was told no info could be given, same when asked for owner contact. You see in pictures one girl asleep the other one very nice but clueless as to how to help. After several attempts to gather info on who to contact and explaining the situation, I got the feeling that Mgr (via text) didn't care to deal with a problem and the front desk were not trained in how to handle situation. The manager called me the next morning and I tried to explain that when I signed up I didn't know what was being selected. She was not interested and that the form she had said I selected two drafts to come out. I did not understand that to be the case. No one here seems to care about resolutions or fix it conversations. When I asked if I could speak to the owner she said no that she was the person who would be my contact, and she's the one who I had the problem with. Wishing I could leave a zero review do not go to this place.. they are letting people with no experience conduct services. I left there with lashes that I didn't ask for asked for a cat eye and got sparse, missing spots , looks like spider web eyes.. and spent over 2 hours getting my lashes done. When calling I was just told since I was "modeling" that there was nothing they could do for me to fix my eyes. I am so disappointed and wish I would have never gone to visit this establishment. I've been getting my lashes done for years now and have never had someone do such a horrible job. I scheduled a lash removal since I had lashes from somewhere else and a full set with a master stylist. The lash tech came and took me to her room. She stated "we are doing a removal today correct" and I replied "yes and a full set" she immediately jumped and said no I only have you for a removal. I have the email but ok we will get the lash removal done then figure it out or schedule another day. During the removal she proceeded to talk on the phone. Then burned my eyes with the eyelash remover solution I couldn't open my eyes for a couple of minutes. This has never happened before and i have gotten my lashes done several times so at this point red flag and I don't want her to do my lashes. I just paid overpriced to take my lashes off and have my eyes burned. Definitely need better customer service, and scheduling system. I was trying to give them a chance to be my go to when it comes to my lashes since it's so close to home but I would rather stick to my previous artist and make the drive. read more

As a non member I asked about the prices while getting the appointment on the phone and the girl said $79. When I go in I talked to the technician and she said that it was going to be $79. When it's time to pay she says it is $140 because I went to that location 5 years ago. Please train your employees how to communicate right and the prices because it's unacceptable. read more

Very Disappointed I have been coming to Amazing Lash consistently for over a year and I have never left disappointed until yesterday. My lashes look thin and frail. I mainly go to the Eldridge location but I have been to the Katy location a few times as well and they ALL have done AMAZING. This location was very short of that. My lashes feel crunchy as if the tech used too much glue and when I voiced that I didn't like them because they are poor and thin she stated that a lot of techs like to stack lashes and she does not. Needless to say i will not return to this location. Try Julie at the Eldridge location she is the best of the best. She just was busy and I went elsewhere SHAME ON ME!! The worst location I've encountered with. My card that has never been used or entered or given to them has been charged twice without my acknowledgement or consent. I understand I'm under a membership my concern is how they even got a hold of this card information especially when they been sending me texts since 4/13 to update my payment method and on top of that this is a new card. Then to top it off they said I cannot change my home location. My original home location I never had a problem within over the 5 years I been going to Amazing Lash. I have tried 3 of the techs at this location. The first was Becca - she did a good job, no complaints really. I went to her about 3x before I started going to Vy. Vy is the absolute best!! I'm always so happy with her. She does a really great job. I had to reschedule and needed to be seen that day and Vy was booked so I went to see another tech. I am absolutely unsatisfied!! When I was checking out to pay one of my lashes fell on the counter. I was shocked, but didn't complain. I just booked a mini refill with Vy for a couple days letter. Lesson learned. I went straight home after &!have been watching tv, wrapping gifts, etc and more of my lashes have fell out. Seriously...I'm so confused on how this is even possible. My husband even told me my eyelashes look spotty. My left eye prior to the visit were missing a lot of lashes bc I had an eye patch on, but regardless....my lashes shouldn't be falling out as I blink. Totally got ripped off..they promote their prices for a volume 6d fill would've been $35 for non member but then there's all these hidden fees..I called to make sure the prices were right before coming in and they assured me it would be $35...i even asked again before checking in. I ended up paying $100 after becoming a member so it can be a little cheaper. It would've been more if I didn't become a member. Wayyy too much money for a whatever job. I spend less $$$ in Beverly Hills and for a better job. Prices should just be upfront..I don't mind but I just despised the sneakiness of it..cancelling membership as soon as I get home. 15 minutes before my appointment time I received a text canceling because they didn't have enough lash lift solution. I would have understood if they cancelled hours earlier or a day before but it was 15 minutes before the appointment. I was already on my way and already had paid my babysitter for the 2 hours I was going to be gone. All they had to say was sorry we will give you $20 off a full lash set. 9-18-18 so today I went in to get my lashes done. Amazing lash deducts $59.99 a month from my bank account. I get a text from Amazing Lash saying that I have a prepaid appt. I book an appt, I upgrade to 3D lashes which is an extra $35. I was charged $89 plus the $20 tip they expect you to leave. So, I paid my $59.99 plus another $89. (I'm not adding the $20 tip because the girl deserved it). But to be hit with an $89 bill I thought was ridiculous. So in all reality I paid $148.99 for a set of lashes. Why get a monthly plan? I was ripped off!! 9-19-18. I went back to Amazing Lash, because last night there was no manager. This morning at 9, when they opened, I arrived to speak to the manager. A young girl states that she is the assistant manager. She says , I was gonna call you". She says they owe me a $20 refund. They can keep my $20 I will cancel my membership. read more

I came there Tuesday, February 15th to get my lashes done. When I scheduled my appointment, I requested a senior technician. During my service, the tech was on my left eye longer than expected and kept picking in the middle of the lashes as if there was an issue. I didn't think to question her at the time because I figured she rectified the problem. On Friday, February 18th I noticed discharge building in my left eye more than normal but didn't think too much into it until later that evening. In the middle of the night I woke to my left eye blood shot red. The next morning I went to the hospital to find out that I have a bacterial infection on my top left lid and a pink eye. After the hospital, I came to the studio to have my lashes removed to help heal my eye. The experience that I was given was less than great. The lady at the front was unsympathetic to my condition and wanted to refuse my service due to the fact that I had my son with me. I also requested a refund but was told I won't get anything back because I was past the 3day period. Not only was I told that I wasn't getting a refund, I was asked to pay for the lash removal. The tone of the employee was as if I wanted to be going through this horrific experience. I really didn't appreciate that there was no compassion for what I was dealing with. This location is unprofessional. I am a member of many years and this experience almost made me cancel Amazing lash all together. In March 2021 was contacted to schedule a full set by the receptionist. Now this set was very important because I was traveling out of town for my 30th birthday. When I arrive to Amazing Lash, the tech comes out the back and ask if I am a full set or refill. I reply, "full set." The employees then tell me I was scheduled for a refill and I try to explain that records show I needed a full set. However, they can't squeeze me in and have to reschedule me for another day. Of course I am upset, but I work with them and allow the reschedule to another week when I come back to Houston. Fast forward to about 2 weeks later. I've confirmed a full set with Amazing Lash. I come in to receive the full set that has been prepaid prior to coming to the location AND at the location I cleaned my eyelashes. (Simple as A,B,C) After cleaning my eyelashes, I go back to the front and wait 10 minutes into my appointment and the lash tech brings me back to her room. (Her name starts with an "A".) She says, "hello. And are you going to need that neck pillow?" I reply, "yes that's why I brought it with me because I have neck problems." (To me that's an odd question, but we proceed) I then lay down and she fiddles through my lashes for a few seconds and seems out of her element. I felt uncomfortable and unsure of what was about to happen. The lash tech"A" ask me if they are clean? I reply "yes they are.Twice actually." To my displeasure, she disagrees. In this moment, I just want to find a solution to this issue so I say, "well would you like me to clean them again?" She replies, "that will cut into your appointment time and i will have to reschedule you." Thrown away is what I'm feeling while laying on my back. I said, "it takes 10 seconds to clean my lashes but I waited 10 minutes past my appointment time for you to come and get me." She replies,"why would I wait 10 minutes?" I reply, "I don't know. YOU tell me?" She then replies," the lashes will not stick to my lashes because of old mascara and she cannot do them." And THEN SHOWS ME HOW SHE CAN'T DO THEM!! In all the years I've come to Amazing Lash, I've never had someone show me how they can't accomplish that task at hand. At that point I lift off my back and say, "no you just don't want to do them and that's f**ked up that y'all did this twice." And she replies "yeaaaah. you can leave." So I grab my purse and neck pillow and proceed to the front. I explain to the receptionist what just happened and ask is there a manager available. She replies," the manager isn't in at the moment, but can have her call me back." I then request a call back. Before I leave, I see through my peripheral vision images moving. I then walk closer to the glass door and see lash tech "A" gossiping with coworkers from other rooms. Obviously, by her hand gestures she was upset & expressing it within my view. I turn to the receptionist, "do you see this? Yeah, please have your manager call me." Unfortunately, I do not receive a call back. After that experience, I've pulled all my credits, & will not send referrals. read more

Bad business. I had a monthly subscription with them. Went in one day for a refill and ended up with a bad infection. As soon as the tech finished working on my lashes my eyes were irritated. Could not open them. Management did nothing to try and and help and to top it off I cancelled my monthly subscription with them. I also had to cancel my bank card that I allowed the to keep on file to be on the safe side. & they went out of their way to pull the card I tipped them with that they were NEVER authorized to keep on file. Which was not even my card so they stole money from somebody else's account. Stay away from this place. Bad business, they will steal your money and do nothing to back up their work or products. I had been going to them since December. Instead of making things right they turned their back. Never allowed me to speak to management only the ASS Manager Alexis who was VERY rude and did nothing to help. I guess her title fits her well.. that's why she is just an assistant. My second visit, first refill and Tiffany told me I could've waited another week and this was after having my lashes done June 22 LOL. Both times have been a good experience. I did get the membership on my first visit during their June special. I do recommend asking what type of stylist your getting. When I made my initial appointment I made no specifications since it during the special and in yesterday was informed it was an additional $10 because I was with a master stylist. The young lady did waive my fee since I told her I wasn't aware of that. I'm aware now, I'm pleased with Tiffany's work! I used to go to Xtreme Lashes in the Woodlands, some years ago so I'm pleased with my overall service at this location so far. Didn't take a before pic, but here is my new refill Sexy size 12. I went to this Amazing Lash Studio April 29th for a full classic set. I had a $65 credit there for being a member. I went in, I had lashes on so I got charged $30 for a removal even though the lash stylist I was with said they have never made someone take off their lashes before a set even if it wasn't a set from them. So now I'm at $95.. AND THEN when I was leaving to pay I got charged $70, I asked why and she said $30 for the removal and the rest was for the set.. I ended up paying $145 because I tipped $10 (I always tip nomatter what) I didn't wet my eyes for the full $48 hours like they suggested and I've had my lashes done for a whole year now so I know how to take care of them.. they immediately all started falling out. It's been a week and two days and I have like 10 lashes left on each eye. My friends were telling me that my lashes were just falling out (I wasn't even touching them) they would just fall out on my lap. Anyways, I tell them and they told me I can go in the next day for another $30 for a correction... ANOTHER $30???? That would be $175 for lashes... I've been coming to this location for nearly a year because I've always been satisfied with the staff, facility, styles to choose from and the longevity of the lashes. I noticed back in March some slight irritation that went away on its own until my most recent visit. I got my lashes filled on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning my eyes were swollen shut and burned horribly. I called the studio and the receptionist said my technician made a note of the irritation on my lids but offered no help and acted like it was my problem. I called another lash studio and they brought me in for an emergency removal. I would think that a place with "senior stylists" would have a plan or procedure when a long term client has a bad reaction. It turns out the lashes were placed way too close to my lids. read more

I went to this particular place because they assured me they used hypoallergenic glue. They knew my history of an allergic reaction previously from a different eyelash establishment. I stated this on their supposedly recorded phone line and on the paperwork they made me fill out. Needless to say I had a horrible reaction and my eyes are still not the same. I missed a very important funeral as well. I reached out to them and asked for a refund. Initially they said they would then when I reached back out to them, because they never followed through and claimed they never said that. I screen shot the conversation and sent it to them. (This was all through text). I have not heard back from them. Very disappointed in this place and my experience. I do not recommend this place. Expensive and misleading.
