I have been to this location a few times, in fact I even talked a friend to sign up with me for the membership. We come to this location because they had great service ... at first! First time lashes were great. Then it started going down hill!! This last time was the ultimate Worst!!! The tech said they got a new glue, she was ripping thru my lashes pulling them trying to separate them. Seem like the glue is drying faster then their ability to apply lashes because then it's drying the lashes next to the extension to each other. So as a few days past my lashes were pulling and poking me. I had to go elsewhere to have them cleaned up. However only so much could get done. Also my friend had a girl that got a migraine and actually told my friend that "she couldn't see" so all she could offer her was a natural look. Who gets lash extensions for a natural look? I think it's time to retrain your staff for the product they are using or go back to the other glue!!! Either way it's time to cancel the membership with this location. You can see in my photos that 3 of my natural lashes are glued to one or two extensions, which can cause damage and pull my natural lash out prematurely! I have also tired the Redwood City location and that location is so unprofessional! Bummer too because I just want to go to a place that does one service and does it well! read more

I hope my eyelashes grow back, my eyes look bald. What glue do they use that after a couple days their lashes and mine fell out but the crusty glue is still intact? I signed their "no liability clause" but I could not imagine their products could do this! It"s been 2 weeks and the glue is still here. I am embarrassed to go out. Had my first lash experience at this studio, I should of gone with my gut and left before the tech started. I was taken into a dirty room and when I said something she turned it on me and tried to make me feel bad. Long nails - which is just gross and hair not pulled back. The end result was good, pressured into buying products that I really didn't understand why i needed, shame on me for not leaving. I scheduled my next appt at Roseville location, hard to believe that it is the same business. Studio was clean, techs were professional and well groomed. Hopeful that Folsom will get there act together before the health dept steps in. read more

I am very disappointed in the Folsom's Amazing Lash Studio. I am a paying member and they NEVER have any appointments available. I asked for a weekend appointment and they are unable to get me in for two weeks. I am ending up having to go down to another location in Sacramento. The last two times I have had a fill done at this location I lost half of my lashes after one week. I would definitely think twice about going to the Folsom location!!! read more

**WARNING - LENGTHY COMMENT BUT WORTH READING** I'm going to start by saying that the 2 technicians I had were nice & friendly. I have had a problem with Amazing Lash Studio since day 1. I went in as a new client and new to false lashes altogether. My coworkers always have their lashes done (by other businesses) and they always look spectacular so, I thought I'd give it a try. After 1.5 hours of application, I left very underwhelmed. I barely saw a difference. I decided to come back and give a different technician a try anyways and signed up for the 6 month membership. (First mistake!) The receptionist sat down with me to go over all the paperwork and information. I was told that the $79 intro rate would be reduced to $39 by signing up for the 6 month membership. What a deal, right?! She then proceeds to hand me paperwork for the 12 month membership, tells me that she is "unable to print" the 6 month membership paperwork at this time & that I'll receive it during my next visit. A week goes by and I am not surprised when I hear my coworker say "Hey, I thought you were getting your eyelashes done?" smh. They were that unnoticeable. I returned for my next fill with my copy of the 12 month membership paperwork in hand requesting the 6 month membership paperwork I was promised. The same receptionist that signed me up got the manager and said that there was a miscommunication.The manager claimed to have called me and left a message after my first visit. She didn't. She then told me that in order to go from a 12 month membership to a 6 month membership that I'd have to pay $40!! WHY?! I had asked for the 6 month membership to begin with! I basically turned to the receptionist with a big fat WTF & she just apologized for the "miscommunication". Can we say "bait & switch", people?!?! The manager kept repeating to me "Well, it's up to you if you want to keep the 12 month or go to the 6 month." "It's up to you." "It's up to you." Apparently not cuz I chose the 6 month membership & now I have to pay $40 more because of your receptionist's mistake! Oh, but it's not over there. They were "unable" to print out the new 6 month membership paperwork for me (hmmm... where have I heard that before) & asked that I get it during my next visit. I was extremely angry by this point and just agreed and then left. I sat in my car for not even 10 mins, attempting to call the corp. office (which surprisingly *sarcasm* the call wouldn't go through) and decided to go back in to Amazing Lash for some kind of paperwork. I did not feel comfortable leaving empty handed. They didn't even give me a receipt for the extra $40 I was charged. Miraculously *sarcasm again* they already had my 6 month paperwork printed, highlighted, hole-punched & filed away within those 10 mins!! I was not going to sign this new paperwork until they put down the 6 month start to end dates on the documents. The receptionist wrote October. 2017. 8 months!!! Not 6... 8!! I had to correct her. SMFH. The manager had to come out again to enter in the correct dates into the computer and print out new forms. I left with the new 6 month membership paperwork, the voided 12 month membership paperwork and receipt for the $40 extra that I was charged for. All, I had to request. Ridiculous. I have now sent an email to, hopefully, their corp office and called the Folsom location again requesting that their corp office contact me first thing in the morning. This is not a company I wish to do business with anymore & I would never recommend another person to go. read more

My first appointment kindve sucked... I got a full set and asked for as much volume and length as physically possible and I didn't get that... but I came back to get a fill and try it again yesterday and Athena (I believe that's how you spell it?) was amazing! I told her I didn't like the way it looked last time and that I didn't get as much volume or length as I would've liked and that the last girl applied them really far away from my roots, so when I looked in the mirror after this appointment I was amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I look like I am a supermodel and I feel fabulous! I'm obsessed, so obviously I signed up for the membership and I sent my mom in to get hers done today! So long story short, Athena is amazing and I'm coming back as long as she's there! read more

I got my lashes done here yesterday and I was NOT impressed!! I have been getting my lashes done for over 8 years and this is the 1st time I was GREATLY DISSAPPOINTED! I chose the Gorgeous style, which was supposed to be thick n long..well..I got thin and spacey lashes. I paid for a FULL set but they wanted to charge me 30$ extra for removing the few lashes I had already in place..WHAT?? Never heard of that!! Then wanted me to buy additional product to make their lashes look fuller n last longer...What the HELL!! First time getting lash extensions and they looked amazing after the initial application. The technician was so nice as well as the front staff. Part of the lashes (about a finger width) came out on one eye a day after the application and when I called they got me in that day to fix them and reapply. I really loved the look and was looking forward to maintaining them, but even after meticulous care, I'm left with one eye with one entire side of lash extensions gone within a week and a half. Not evenly falling out but an entire half an eye gone on one side. Not sure if it was a fluke that most fell out within such a short amount of time, but hesitant to try again. I really wanted to love them and did love the look, but wish they would have lasted at least 2 weeks. read more

Completely unprofessional company. On my first appointment it was indicated that I would need eyelashes filled every 2-3 weeks. My eyelashes (the first time) lasted less than 1 week. After returning, they said I should upgrade to 3-D lashes (maybe they would last longer) again, more money. Those did not last more than 8-10 days, so they suggested I upgrade to 6-D lashes. Again - more money. Not once did they offer to re-do or wave any fee, even when the eyelashes would not stay on. These 6-D eyelashes only lasted about 10'days! So, I went in for a regular fill appointment and they told me they double booked and said I would have to wait a few more days because they had no open appointments!! Their mistake, but I was the one who would have to reschedule. Trying to get out of my contract, they said I would have to pay an additional fee, again without getting eyelashes done. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional employees!! When there are so many lash companies around these days, I do not think this company will be around long. I am not happy at all with this place. I went in for a fill. Had an appointment and when I went in the receptionist was very busy. I told her I was there for a scheduled appt. and she said have a seat and wait. So When I was called in to have my fill the gal said I was late and she didn't have much time but would do her best. What? I was told to wait and had no idea that it would affect my time. So she said she would do her best. She also said the job the women did for my very first extension was not great. However it lasted almost 3 weeks and no glue clumping and not many lashes falling out right away. So I left paying 89.99 for a fill. So went in on a Friday and now it is 5 days later and my lashes have been falling out like 2-3 a day and it looks like glue is clumping up in my lashes. I don't use any oil based products either to clean my face. So frustrating and definitely I felt like I got ripped off. I will not recommend this place for sure. Bad experience. After 5 months of giving them a chance to provide AMAZING lashes, I gave up. The girls who work here are very nice, but this place can't keep good lash techs on board very long. Every time I would find a good lash tech, they would be gone by the time I scheduled my next lash appointment. I had 5 different lash techs do my lashes in that 5 month period and despite what the receptionists tell you, they are NOT all good at their job. I have very healthy lashes, and after 5 months, I let my lash extensions fall off and found, to my dismay, that most of my lashes had broken in half. This was after taking very good care of them and using Amazing Lash's $60 lash serum. (This place is big on upselling you their product). I have since found another lash tech to do my lashes and would seriously caution anyone to place the care of their lashes in the hands of this establishment. read more

This place is the definition of a scam, they lure you in with their low initial price, then tell you to get that price, after your lashes have already been put on, that you have to sign up for their membership, which automatically comes out of your bank account twice a month no matter if you have gotten your lashes refilled or not, and to end the member ship you HAVE TO HAVE a doctor note. Also by the way when you got to get your first fill there are going to be a lot of gaps and it's not going to look that great but when you say something about it there going to tell you it was because you were late even though you showed up ten minutes early and sat in the waiting room for twenty minutes. read more

I just came in for the first time today. I've had lash extensions numerous times before, but my "gal" was moving, so I decided to give AL a shot as a replacement. The girl who did my lashes clearly needs more training. Each lash is so far down on my natural lashes that it looks like I had them done 2 weeks ago. I can literally see the difference between the extension and my lash. Her placement and direction was very poor as well, because my eyes look very unbalanced, and the lashes on my right eye randomly all tilt to the side in the middle of my eye. And on the outer corner of my left eye, there is a chunk of my natural lashes that don't have extensions at all. I've already lost a bunch of lashes since I got home (and yes, I've followed aftercare, no water, etc) and a bunch of them were extensions glued onto extensions, so its clear the girl that did mine needs some serious work on her isolation. I'm honestly concerned that she glued some of my natural lashes together because some spots on my eye feel kinda sore and irritated. Obviously, I'll have to remove them now because I'm worried about damage to my natural lashes due to a lack of training or experience on the technician's side. I'm super unhappy. I have been getting my lashes done here for about 3 months now. I signed up for the $120 a month program. I keep trying different girls hoping my experience will get better .... unfortunately it has not. The girls are friendly but the quality is absolutely horrible. My lashes don't even last a full two full weeks. I paid the extra $25 to get a different style to make them look fuller, they look the same and they were already falling out an hour after I had them done. All my lashes seem to go different directions. I have friends that have had them done other places and they do not share the same experience as me. I finally discontinued my membership. Don't sign the contract. Bad business!!!!! I was new to lashes and tried to ask many question. The girls in the front as well as the girls doing the procedure did not explain the terminology well, then became snood at me when I could decide between the several options. When finished my lashes looked good. A monthly package was offered to me. A flat fee of 69.00 per month. I understood if I needed any touch up that month was included. I made my next appointment online. When I arrived for my appointment they didn't have me down. I was asked to take time off work the next day and they would get me in. Not happy about that, I complied. A new gal did my lashes, it had been two weeks and most of my lashes extensions had fallen out. The gal was mad and did half of my lashes and said I would have to come back to have them finished. "Well, I took time off work to have them done and now you want me to leave and come back in three hours?" They said yes. I did. 6 days later all my lashes fell out including mine own. I asked to cancel the contract and they would but they would be charging me one more time. Jade the manager never calls back and when I did get her she was cold and not helpful. After my review, I was contacted by the store manager who was very apologetic and invited me back in for a correction appointment to fix my lashes. I was told I'd be scheduled with a "senior" technician. Unfortunately, I was late to the appointment (my own fault) and when I called they informed me I'd need to reschedule. They put me down for the next day. I did not ask if I'd be scheduled with a senior technician again. The girl who did my lashes the second time did a nice job but when i asked how long she'd been doing lashes there, she told me only since July 2018. The next morning I did not wake up to a scattering of lashes like previously, so I was excited. I made sure again to not use any products containing oil, keep lashes dry for 48 hours, no makeup, no rubbing, no sleeping on eyes..These lashes lasted about a week before I started to notice them falling out again. My real lashes were not attached to the extensions that were falling off. I am so disappointed! Many friends tell me they only need fills once a month. I don't know why these can't last on me. My left is still pretty full and I wouldn't have any complaints, but the right eye is pretty sparse. I can feel a ton more glue on my left eye and wish the right eye would've been applied the same. I appreciate that the manager was eager to correct the issue but once again I was left disappointed. I was considering a membership but at this rate I'd be going 2-3 times a month just to keep my lashes full. I don't recommend Amazing Lash Studio. read more

I really loved my lashes when I first got them! But even after caring for them properly, they are beginning to pull out my natural lashes (2-3) at a time!! It's so awful..and after doing some research, I found that extensions that pull out multiple lashes at a time are typically due to poor gluing. This isn't normal and shouldn't happen. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, especially Becca! I am extremely hurt that I even have to type this. I went in there feeling like I was going to do something for myself to make me happy, how ever that wasn't the case. they fool you and trick you into coming in for you first time at $89.99 sounds reasonable, then they hit you with an additional $55-60+ without having a membership. I am a cash only type of person so it's very outrageous and almost hypocritical to those who like to pay cash, I got way over charged, I've had them since the 12th and almost all of them have shifted or fallen out, due to the poor job that was done. before you come to me and say "well you haven't been properly caring for them" wrong. I've gone out of my way to buy product to keep my lashes longer and healthier and the outcome is terrible. I almost want to ask for a refund but I feel like the snobby ladies at the front desk will just sit there and talk behind my back like how they did when I was $5 short and had to make my mother drive 20 minutes to give me additional money that they had not been up forward and honest about the pricing in the first place. If it wasn't such a minor inconvenience I'd almost consider filing a lawsuit for the way I was treated, charged, and the fact they look god awful even the next day of having them. I am giving 2 stars for customer service. Tia is amazing and my lash specialist was very friendly as well. However, I am disappointed with my fill. I am new to lash extensions and went in for my first fill last week. I naturally have a lot of lashes but they have gotten shorter over the years. I called the week prior to my appointment but there was nothing available, forcing me to wait an extra week. The part that really upset me was that I was told that every other lash was being filled because I had so many lashes and there wasn't enough time and if I wanted to complete the fill I should come back for a touch up within 10 days and it would be an additional 55.00. That's like telling someone "you have too much hair so I'm only trimming half, you'll pay the same price and if you want me to finish you should come back and pay more" BS. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and called the next business day to speak to a manager but have yet to get a return call. Very disappointed, this is poor business management in my eyes. *****UPDATE***** I received a call from the manager who kindly gave me a complimentary touch up. I thought this was super nice! However, today it's been 2 weeks since my fill and 6 days since the touch up and I have not ONE Single extension left. My original set didn't start showing wear until almost 4 weeks later. I have been to this studio twice now the first time I went the technician had a migraine which took her out of the room for about 10 minutes before we started she came back telling me she had a migraine and that she really couldn't see but she would do the best she could when we were done I gave her some Excedrin for her migraine looked at my lashes they were so uneven and sparse, I so annoyed I didn't even get into it with her....went back in October figuring I would give them another try when this time my lashes were clumped together 2 of my natural lashes to 3 of the extensions on most of my lashes that the glue was trying faster then she could work leaving the extensions poking and pulling my own...I have lost several of my natural lashes I had to go to another solan to have the extensions removed..I have a membership with this company and the 2 locations I have been to have been the worst the Redwood city location is truly unprofessional...my suggestion ladies do not get the membership read more

I have gone to a few different Amazing Lash Studios but moved to Folsom so I thought I would try this one. I made the mistake of not requesting a higher lever stylist and was placed with a beginner. Unfortunately it took over 2 hours for my new lash set to be put on and when she was done she had glued my top lashes to my bottom ones. She pried them apart using her fingers and tweezers, poking my eye a few times and pinching my skin. When she was finally done and I could open my eyes I noticed the right side was much fuller than the other. I told my stylist but she didn't see what I was talking about. She went to fix it anyway and when I opened my eyes again they were burning and bright red after being poked and prodded. They still are not even but my eyes were watering so bad I did not want her to do anymore. I went to the front and told them about my experience when they asked and they said it was normal. Based on my year of lashes at an amazing lash studio in Sacramento, I was sure they were mistaken. However I did not want to cause a scene and left without saying much. Today, 5 hours after my service my lower right eye is sore to the touch and both eyes are still red. I am positive I am not allergic based on my experience with them before and knowing the pressure applied when ungluing my bottom lashes from the top. I am hesitant to go back after my experience and would advise any future lash client to request a junior or senior level stylist. Unfortunately I still have a credit and don't want any more of my money to be wasted on this company. Good luck! read more

My first time coming to this place for eye lash extensions. My first impression was that the place was well designed and clean. The front office/receptionist staff was friendly and even my tech was nice and professional. Unfortunately only after gettin my volume eye lash extensions done less than a week ago, I've had 7 extensions fall out already. I can't imagine this even lasting 2 weeks before a fill. I definitely care for them as instructed (no moisture, water for 48 hours, brush and clean them daily etc). Keep in mind they've talked me into getting the volume lashes (6D) because the tech stated it last longer, gives you more volume..etc. so I did. But when one lash falls out it gives you major gaps in your eye lashes because each eyelash extension has 6 lashes attach to it. I'm very unhappy with how my lashes look now because of how uneven they are. I signed up for the membership but now thinking about cancelling it if this is the quality of the product. I have been getting lash extensions for the last 10 years and have been to my fair share of lash studios. My regular lash girl was out of town for two weeks so I was looking for another studio that could fit me in for a fill and Amazing Lash had a promotion for new customers (i think it was 80$ for first time clients) which I thought was still a bit pricey as I pay 50$ for a fill. The lash tech insisted on removing all of my current lashes (I have damaged lashes so I normally have multiple extensions per each lash)- and she insisted on doing a whole new set which I was okay with. I am fine paying extra for a brand new set of full lashes. In order to achieve the volume that I had before, she told me I needed the volume package which was an extra 50$ (even though she verbally told me 40$). The lash tech seemed to spend more time removing all my old lashes than putting new ones on. The end product was so bare and sparse that I honestly was embarrassed to leave the studio. I would have much rather preferred the lashes I went into the studio with than the ones i left with (Mind you I was now down $140 when my regular fill costs me $50). I called the manager and after many complaints and even emailing pictures, the manager said she had consulted with the owner an was only able to refund me for the volume package.
