Don't go. I've had my lashes filled for 10 years and this experience wasn't good. I paid $109 for a full set. If you read in their website, be prepared to be there about 2 hours which is normal. I was in the room for 30 minutes. The outcome was distressing as I was going to a wedding the next day. My eye lashes looked non existent. This is a company that doesnt care. Just want the big bucks. I'm beyond frustrated. Anytime I can't book with my regular lash tech, the results are all over the place. Lately, my lashes have looked like I barely have any at all--which defeats the whole point of getting extensions. It shouldn't matter who does the service; the quality should be consistent. It has been 7 days since my lash app and i have lost over half. this is my 2nd time getting them done here and also lost almost all of my lashes within the first week. i wait 48 hours before washing. i brush and wash my eyelashes every day, no make up applied on them. i don't understand what is happening. i have had my eyelashes done so many times in the bay area and never have an issue with retention. i cant even make it to a week here before needing a fill. i don't know if ill be coming back. read more

I wish I could say that the many years I have been a client with Amazing Lash Folsom had a good ending. The Studio has gone down hill so badly. In the beginning it was clean with a spa like atmosphere. It has just steadily gone down hill. The Corporate decision to raise prices without grandfathering long time loyal clients was the straw that broke the camel's back. To pay $170.00 per month (This is actually double now. that's how long I was a client...) for a Studio that is often unclean, the Front Desk is has constant chatty sessions and they no longer play spa music. You now have to ask for a blanket. It just isn't a place I want to frequent. It feels like I may as well go to someone's garage. I am not paying the most premium price for that. The ONLY reason I gave an extra star (meaning two instead of one) is because I feel bad about saying anything negative about a new lash tech, but she did in fact admit she was new and my lashes did in fact fall out within three days of the service. For $200+ (which is ultimately a really high price for a hybrid set of lashes anyways) you'd think some would at least last until my fill appointment but they are just completely...gone. I made an online appoint for a lash lift. the website description of the service includes lash tinting. The text reminder I received was for a different (earlier) time than I reserved through the website and received a confirmation email for. I called to verify and the time offered was the earlier appointment. The employee I spoke with said there was an issue with online booking. I kept the appointment, filled out the intake forms and met the technician. When I told her the tint color I would like, she said they aren't doing tinting and didn't know when they would be doing tinting. I was looking forward to this and it turned out to be a huge waste of time. I'll find another provider that has it more together. read more

The girls who did my eyelashes were amazing. Super nice, but the membership that they have going is completely a scam!!!! I told them in December to cancel my membership. They continue to charge my membership for three months kept losing the paper that I signed, refused to give me any of the money back for a membership I did not use and points I did not use. once it was legitimately canceled I also lost the points that I had build up from the unwanted charges that they refused to refund. In all I lost $520 eventually had to tell My bank to block them from charging my card. And showed them the termination paper. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a full face and brow wax for myself and a eye brow wax for my son. My son is 19 years old and is special needs/autistic and it was preparation for his older brothers wedding so I thought that we each would have it done. When scheduling the appointment I requested a double appointment to allow for each of us to have our procedures together. Upon arrival the receptionist was nice and I noticed another individual in black scrubs that would walk back and forth from the back and then just proceeded to sit next to the receptionist and talk, all while I was waiting for my appointment. Ten minutes later, twenty minutes past our prescheduled appointment we were called by the same person in the black scrubs for our procedures. My son and I proceeded to walk back and she stopped us in area of the waiting room and just past the first door and said, "you both can't be in the room together, its a fire code issue". I explained that my son was special needs and I booked the appointments together so we could be in the same room so he could be comfortable during the process. She instructed us to , "Just wait here". Him and I waited in the waiting room/hallway unbeknown to what was going on, where she had went and what was happening. The receptionist than asked, "do you need something?" I told her we were waiting for someone or something but I have no idea what is happening. That same person in the black scrubs walked right past both of us again, sat back at the receptionist area and told the receptionist, "Can you explain its a fire code issue, she cant have him back there with her." For the sake of not wanting to repeat myself again that he is special needs, I had requested a double appointment and the sake of time since we were flying out to the wedding the next morning at 4 am, I explained to my son that I guess we are being told that we can not be in the same room together during our wax appointment, and asked him if he would be ok sitting by himself in the waiting room while I am out of his site. It was a bit like we were singled out and the whole waiting area of other customers was seeing this all play out. I have never been ashamed of my son's condition but I was embarrassed, amazed how we poorly we were being treated and felt like we were being singled out. My son agreed to wait in the waiting room by himself and she walked me back. Once I layed on the table to start the brow wax, she slid her chair, hitting the table that I was laying near my head. She followed by a disingenuous apology. She then noticed that the hot wax machine was not working and was broken, instead of offering another service, instead of seeing if there was another working machine, she said, "oh this isnt working, you can reschedule or go next door to the threading shop." The machine may not have been working but with out a doubt, for some reason, she did not want to do the service. I got up and my son and I left. To say the service was horrible and the experience was bad would be an understatement. I've never experienced such poor customer service. That was my first and only time that I had ever been to the establishment and I will not be going back ever. If you happen to have or be an adult on the spectrum I do not recommend this place. The staff needs a class in learning to be unbiased and to treat people just better all around. read more

I was told volume is $10 more when I booked over the phone. When I went in person, it's $25 more on top of your full set price! (This made it $30 MORE than my previous lash artist)! After 4 appointments, my lash tech told me my extensions were breaking off. I had a ton of 'nubs' where they are glued on at the base of my lash line. She couldn't do my fill. I don't rub my eyes, wear make up, pick at the lashes or anything. I only use the gentle cleanser and lash brush they sold me. I know they didn't break off because of something I did. They wanted another $40 to remove the 'nubs' that were glued on at the base. (Why are they breaking?!!) I've had my lashes done for years, with no history of this. My lash artist couldn't give me my fill until I paid the additional $40 to remove it all. Then on top of that I would be charged for a new full set PLUS the $25 for hybrid! I'm not sure if I'll be back. Lastly, I do want to warn you about the 'appointment reminder' calls. They BLOW your phone up... like a parent reminding a child. I asked to OPT-OUT from the calls and text.. but they won't because it's their policy. So far warning.. to all the grown folk who don't need their hand held. They will remind you over and over! When I was in the parking garage they called me again letting me know... I had 3 min until my appointment and was walking in! I'm like Daaaamn!! I know!! During my last fill (and last ever with this company), my lash tech Charlotte spilled glue in my hair, which she failed to inform me of or even try to fix. I got home after having my fill and my hair tie was GLUED to my hair, and there was glue all down my hair and in my bangs. I scheduled a removal (which they did comp, and THANK YOU KATIE FOR BEING SO AWESOME AND GETTING MY LASHES OFF SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON HERE I TRUST), and the manager looked at my hair and said if the remover didn't work to use oil and then shampoo/conditioner, and that if THAT didn't work, to PUT ACETONE IN MY HAIR (which btw fries the absolute crap out of your hair and dries it out to no end). Anyways, after going through putting lash remover in my hair (the Amazing Lash remover exclusive to the company that takes their lashes off but can't get the glue out of anything else apparently), soaking it in oil for 24 hours, shampooing and conditioning, q-tipping with acetone, etc. my hair was matted, disgusting, and STILL had glue everywhere. So much so that when we tried to pick it out of my hair, it straight up broke off. I just had to cut 13 INCHES off of my hair that I've been trying to grow out for 2 years. My entire length of hair is gone now. I am extremely disappointed and I was never even offered a refund of the $80 fill that had to be removed the next day. Not to mention I went in to get the glue out and walked out with glue still in my hair. I'm appalled at the lack of care for customer safety and satisfaction. If anything I should have gotten a refund AND an offer to pay for the haircut that was required after all of the damage done to my hair. Never coming back again. WORTH THE READ-INFECTION If I could give zero stars, I would. I had been getting my lashes done at the Folsom location for about 6 months. The last time I had my lashes done was by Alexis on 10/01/21, this was a Friday. During this appointment, the lash tech was on her phone multiple times, going in between my lashes and her phone without washing her hands in between. I was annoyed initially because it was taking longer than usual but ignored it. Anyways, over that weekend, I noticed my right eye was puffy and itchy. I thought it would go away, but it didn't, so I called the Folsom studio on 10/06 to tell them what was going on. They told me it was an allergic reaction and to come in and have them taken off and that the allergic reaction would go away in a couple of days. I had been getting my lashes done for six months with no issues, it seemed weird to me that I would be having an allergic reaction but I went anyway. Then, I was charged $40 to have my lashes taken off after having them on for four days which I already paid $100+ for. I canceled my membership at that point. I sent all of this information over to Amazing Lash corporate office on 10/19 who replied saying "we will be reaching out to the Folsom management team on your behalf" and that was it. Never heard from them again. It's now 10/26 and this "allergic reaction" has not gone away, my eye is still itchy, red, puffy, half closed and gross and I am now certain that this wasn't an allergic reaction, but an infection due to uncleanliness by the lash tech. I have attached a photo of what my eye looks like this morning. I have to keep cream on it at all times or it dries up so bad to where it cracks. I had to go to the doctor. This place is a joke. Horrible customer service and it's gross and dirty, they don't care about their clients or their quality of work and they'll still take your money!! Don't go here. I am revising the review that I gave yesterday. I don't see how to respond to the response from amazing lashes. I believed I had conjunctivitis from the last set of lashes I received. I went to the doctor and I did not have conjunctivitis. But the application of these lashes with an excessive amount of glue, and too close to my eyelid has caused, a serious reaction. I've had several sets of lashes from amazing lashes with no problem. The problem is only with this particular experience. I reached out to them again, and said that I did not have conjunctivitis, and that it appears too much glue is used, and that their place to close to my skin causing a very bad reaction. I will be going in today to get the eyelashes removed and expect the next set will be at no charge as I paid almost $200 for them. I'm looking forward to rectifying the situation as I have enjoyed going to Amazing Lash. read more

So I had a lash service on 05/24/24 and the lash tech that I had was AMAZING! He lashed EXACTLY as I described and we had wonderful conversation the whole time. However, Minnie was so rude and passive aggressive. She kept coming in the room and her tone was very rude to the lash tech. When I first arrived she was pretty sour to me and I declined to speak with her because I knew something was off. She entered the room and was turning and shifting and jerking my head around "checking" the lash tech's work. She needs to be replaced if that is the attitude she is going to have towards clients! I've been going here for a little under 6 months. My first experience was not the best, and then I got set up with Charlotte who is a Master stylist and she is absolutely amazing. I have been going to Ashley consistently every 2 weeks for a few months since her availability fits my schedule more and I cannot say good enough things. I'm not happy with the membership. I feel the salon is not transparent with their charges. Members should should be receiving a statement of charges on a monthly basis for what they are paying. But they do not share that information. They charge me $118 membership fee monthly. When I go in I still pay $70 or more. When I signed up for the membership it was my understanding that I would receive 2 services a month for the $118.00. It sounds like such a good deal. NOT! That has NEVER happened. In December I supposedly had what they call "credits" and the receptionist said my credits didn't cover the service I received. My tech got involved and I was able to use my credits. I am paying this company around $300 a month for about 6 months (not including tips). I have no idea what I've paid for or why. When I question the receptionist I get the runaround. I will be cancelling my membership. I feel the way they handle the fees without any kind of statement is not only very unprofessional but also is unacceptable. read more

This place is a huge rip off. I was 15 minutes late for my appointment and they automatically cancelled my appointment and offered to reschedule it for a different time. I asked if I can reschedule it to tomorrow and they charged me $100 dollars for a no show today and I have to pay $100 dollars tomorrow for the lash appointment itself. Love this place, the first time I went I had Olivia she was removing her previous lashes from some where else which I felt so bad for it felt like a I was a nightmare because they weren't coming off but she was great and took her time and got them all off and recommended me their Nature Lash which is Amazing!!
