8.7 update: Business was responsive to my call on 8.5. I went in 8.6 with a clear statement to all that I had only 45 minutes. I Was assured there was plenty of time to be fixed. The tech was amazing and made my right eye look fantastic. It was 2x better than when I left the salon the first time. So much more full. Only problem is the quality was so good, my left eye looks sad now (looks like it did when I left the first time- but sad in comparison). The tech had more time and wanted to fix up my left, which I did not have expect them to do, but I had to go to work... So while I am beyond pleased with their response and how it was addressed, It would've made more sense to reschedule me to have the time needed or just do my right eye back to match my left. I will only go to my new lash tech in the future - and will update the review again in a few days. I'm overall pleased but still looking lopsided and was told to go ahead and schedule my fill in to get me back to normal... 8.5: one star: Very concerned and going to can in for support... Received a full set on Monday night. Right eye to about 75 percent of the appointment time, but I figured the tech got in a groove and the right just went fast... After I thought the left wasn't quite as full, but maybe I have asymmetrical #of natural lashes... I've always done extra volume sets before so maybe my old private party tech just made things even so I wouldn't notice (I'm staying open here). Also my with my private party tech, id get a less than 50 percent fill ins at 3-4 weeks... I've always held well. Friday I'm thinking wow!! I'm so happy I did this! They look great!! Saturday... Wth happened to my right eye?! Where did they go??? My lashes are still there, the extension are not. Sunday I took the photos. Left eye looks amazing... Right is looking jacked up! I can see white at the base of my right lashes that the picture won't show. No water touched them for 3 days! I clean gently, brush as needed- again they were perfect for a couple days and then boom gone. I'm 6.5 months pregnant... So I don't sleep on my stomach and the sides are still ok, so it's not from sleeping. Its got to be from speeding through to get my right eye done during my session. read more

My membership at Amazing Lash is a game-changer! They make it pretty affordable to get my lashes done every couple of weeks and the service is great. Went in today for a second visit, after becoming a much better educated consumer. Hakeem was my tech, and she was amazing. She gave me exactly what I was looking for. I almost forgot to mention Mercedes. She is a great front desk presence and ambassador to the I do want to add that I was not given a discount or a redo without fee as offered by manager or whomever I talked to. The manager on duty never acknowledged my issues once I was in the salon. This bugged me enough that I cancelled my subscription. My first experience with this location was being badgered by not one, but two people to get a membership. I politely said no about 7 times before having to flat out say I'm not interested please stop. The 2nd time I made an appointment for a touch up and went in I was told that "based on your last visit you should need a fill in not a touch up" (my lashes usually last 3-4 weeks and it was barely two so no thank you I only need a touch up) and when I said I only needed a touch up she then told me that the price quoted on the app was wrong and I would have to pay an additional $22 ( $82 instead of the 69 I booked for) because of the tech doing my lashes, or she could put me with someone "less than that tech" but I would have to come back another time. She eventually waived the extra fee, but not before saying .. and I quote "I'm going to get my a** beat for this.... Before I left it was suggested that I be very careful as to whom I book my next appointment with because the prices shown when making appointments thru the app are not correct for certain lash techs... umm no, how about you not have false advertising and fix your app to reflect the appropriate pricing. I told the desk person I would not be back as this is NOT worth the aggravation and there are plenty of other lash studios that do not practice business this way. FYI if it is advertised that way and is the price quoted when booking, you are legally bound to it. Side note, tech was very nice and lashes are great, I tipped her the extra "fee" directly. Didn't work for me. I have had single lashes installed before, so not sure if it was the technician or the technique. I had a full set installed and did go out the county the next day. I was told that you should not travel to a humid location for at least 48 hrs after you get lashes. That was the first I heard of that, because the first time I got single lashes I traveled to a tropical location and didn't have a problem. So I went back and had a refill that was more like a full install due to so many falling out. After the second install I traveled to St Louis ( temp was cooler than Charlotte while I was there) and I had the same thing happen. Way to many lashes fell out for it to be normal. I will not be going back, as they only offered a 10 percent discount when I went back ( guess they called it user error, since I traveled, although almost every lash fell out). Oh well. read more

I have had a membership for some time now and enjoyed my experience with the lash techs. I just can't justify the amount of money spent up keeping the lashes and the membership payment each month. Canceling your membership here is nothing but confusing and frustrating. I went in yesterday in person to cancel my membership because you aren't allowed to do so over the phone. The front desk was not helpful and stated that I must give them a 48 hour notice and told me they were going to charge my card anyways.... Then proceeded to tell me that me coming in person to cancel wasn't enough and I just wait for the manager to send me an email with information to actually cancel my membership..... please do not give this company your card... all they are trying to do here is suck more money out of you... I came in person and did what they told me to do and I leave even more frustrated and another $100+ taken out of my account. This was the first time I've had lash extensions, so I must admit I was nervous. When I first walked in I was very impressed by the decor and cleanliness, it's super cute. Everyone was nice and they do offer memberships but I didn't feel pressured to buy. My technician was Ruth, and she is ah-may-zing! She asked a few questions to make sure she understood my preferences and comfort level. The appointment did take about two hours, but totally worth it! She took her time and I felt zero discomfort other than a bit of irritation from the pads on my lower lashes, that went away quickly after it they were removed. I went to Amazing Lash and loved it! I am concerned about some of the reviews but my experience was above and beyond. So far I have seen multiple different stylist and all have been great. The price is awesome and they are busy so I know the stylists have practice. I get concerned with booth rental girls because they just don't have the practice and I worry about the certification. I am a licensed esthetician also and know you can get a certificate for an 8 hour course. Can't imagine someone working on me with that kind of experience. Don't go to this establishment. They are rude and unprofessional. They don't explain all the terms to the monthly program thoroughly. They give you the RBF if you say you don't want to sign up for the monthly membership. When you do sign up, they make it harder than flying to the moon to cancel it. The manager is not willing to work with you at all. Even with their incompetent, ever-changing staff who can't even ring you out for a transaction, the manager won't take accountability for those sorry excuses for employees (maybe that's why they have a horrible retention rate because there's a new front desk person every time you go). They just want your money. They don't care about you as a customer. So, take your money elsewhere. Besides, the lashes come off after three days. Horrible product. Horrible customer service. I had high expectations and was super excited to get lash extensions again after 3 years of not having them, and I was super excited about their full set of lashes special price of $59 for their first time customers. The whole consultation, setup, etc was fine. I was comfortable, the girl was nice, but man was I disappointed in the results. She sold me on an "upgrade" to get the 3D lashes to add more volume. I was so disappointed because my lash stylist was so slow and the results were so unnoticeable -- even with the 3D! I have had lash extensions before and my girl was very quick and took about 1.5 hours to do a full set and they were full and lush and beautiful! I was so disappointed. I really want to give them another shot but I really think they need to hire a few more experienced stylists. My stylist had only been doing lashes for 2 months, so basically was still learning, which is probably why she wasn't able to put many lashes on me. She had me for at least 90 minutes, maybe a little longer and it looked like a 30 min refill. So disappointed. read more

I'm not writing this to bash this company, just to maybe help someone not have the experience that I had today. I am (well was before today) a member with this company. I had three or four sets of lashes with them and then froze my account because i wasn't really in love with the lashes and it was expensive especially my last set which fell out pretty quickly. When my 3 month freeze was up I got charged my monthly charge and I made an appointment online for a member full set. I was emailed to pick a time. I picked 9 am this morning. I drove a hour to get my lashes on. Was pretty excited to have them done for a trip I'm going on for my birthday. I got there. Washed my lashes. The tech came out and asked if I had been with her before and said "oh yeah you're the one with two kids and hate your in laws you use to have blonde hair". I just turned 22 this week idk how I have two kids lol ok not that big of an insult. Then she said hmm so I have you down for a refill but you don't have any lashes on. I said nope I'm here for a members full set I made the appointment online and emailed for my spot today. She went and talked to the front desk and came back and said that they had incorrectly booked me for a fill and she could put a few lashes on me now and I could come back at 1 or 4. Obviously I can't do that I live a hour away and don't just have an entire day to drive here and back here and back. I'm a student and have classes today. I cleared my morning to come in and get these lashes on. I went and talked to the receptionists about it. No one else was available to service me. I asked if the South Park location had any openings and they called but their phone went to voicemail. They did apologize a lot and did admit it was a error on their part. I work as a receptionist in a similar industry and make appointments and i understand it was probably not the girl who made my appointment that i was speaking with so i tried to stay calm i was just really disappointed. These things seem to to always happen to me. I went ahead and had my account cancelled. They did say that they would take care of the different next time I come in for a full set and then I'm going to be charged November 8 for another months worth of lash refills and I'll come in for a fill to use that money too. But I think it's just not for me. The location is too far for this kind of thing to happen to me again. Just going to do strip lashes after this I think. :/ would suggest calling to confirm the time and type of appointment that you have. read more
