It's a very nice day spa and very expensive. I would say it needs to be updated but not having…read moreanything else like it in charlotte makes that difficult. We sat by the pool and had lunch. The menu is not great considering the clientele, and the food was just okay. They do NOT tell you at the pool that 24% gratuity is included. My facial was wonderful and relaxing.

Had a great experience! We were able to easily call to make an appointment the day before, but you…read morecan also make an appointment online. There's a big parking and they validate parking. When you spend more than $130, you can enjoy the amenities all day, they are open 8am- 8pm. There are 2 locker rooms, each locker room contains a sauna, and one of the locker rooms contains a steam room. You can also use the fitness center, the indoor pool and 2 jacuzzis. There are also showers, lockers that easily lock, and plenty of space/mirrors to get dressed with hair dryers. You get a robe and slip ons to wear. The saunas were comfy and a perfect temperature! Only thing it was missing was music in the sauna. The steam room was very steamy-too steamy!! It was eucalyptus, and it hit you in the face. I didn't last more than a minute in there. The pool was very nice and had windows overlooking The Bowl. The jacuzzis looked nice but we didn't get in. There were plenty of people but it wasn't too packed and we got to do everything we wanted. The hallways were dimly lit, nicely decorated and had soft spa music playing- very nice! It was very well staffed, I constantly saw employees walking around and they were all very friendly. And the staff member we signed in with showed us around- you get a key card to use the amenities. They offer mocktails, sodas, wine and champagne. They are in plastic glasses but understandable since there's a pool. There were also nuts/trail mix as a snack! I didn't see a place to order food, I guess you have to go to the hotel lobby. I got the hydrafacial with Olga. She was so kind and SO knowledgeable! She explained what she was doing and it was so refreshing. I could tell it really improved my skin. The facial room was very relaxing and the bed was comfy. It included a shoulder massage and ended with a warm, wet towel under my neck. The facial was the cheapest available and it was $200 for 25 minutes. Only things I didn't like- the spa needs a bit of a facelift and paint touch ups throughout. It was a bit pricy but I guess I understand since you are also paying for the whole spa day experience and not just the facial. A great way to spend a day and I would go back!

I've been regular at this location for over 3 years now. In initial months I had seen many…read moreestheticians for facial, but now I'm regular with Afton for may be 2 years now - she is awesome! I have acne prone skin and she is very patient with extractions. She suggest upgrades only when my skin needs it. If it weren't for Afton I would have cancelled my membership long time ago. Manager Michele is very accommodating. I recently had issues with my promotional gift cards, and she was so kind to help me through it. My husband and I see Jeannette for massage - she is great too, but you'd need to remind her every-time you see her on the pressure you like etc.

I booked here after verifying they accepted the gift card I had. I go to check out and she tells me…read morethey've been asking SpaWeek to take down their business and they can't accept the gift card. It is YOUR BUSINESS on the website and you should honor it from YOUR advertisement. The manager came out and didn't give a crap saying "I've been asking them to take it down" over and over again. So her lack of following up for HER company came at MY expense. I had read a lot of reviews of this place screwing people out of money before booking and should have listened. My facialist was fantastic and let me know she would be moving companies so I will be following her to her new place and never returning here. DO NOT BOOK HERE! There are too many other fantastic spas in the area that do right by their customers. This place does not.

I was told that no one would call me for the results, but that I would have to go into my patient portal to get the biopsy diagnosis. I received the biopsy results days later, and it was cancer. I sent a note to the doctor asking what came next. I received no word from the clinic, so I called finally. I was told that they had not received the biopsy report yet. I said that I have had the report for at least a week. Then I found out the Dr. Yanez went on vacation for 2 weeks and none of his staff even tried to check on things for me. Thus, I called and made an appointment with another plastic surgeon. Four weeks later, I get a call from PPSD saying that they are now ready to schedule the surgery. I responded that they were too late, because I had already found another surgeon that actually seems to care about me. (And I have to add that their Patient Portal rarely works)
