If you're looking for an impeccably run practice that treats your body as an interconnected system…read moreinstead of chasing symptoms one at a time, I can't recommend Donohoe Chiropractic enough. For the last 3 years, I've been a patient of their chiropractic care, applied kinesiology, massage therapy, supplements, elderberry, bug spray, and several of the other wellness products they carry. What keeps me coming back isn't just one service, It's the philosophy behind the entire practice and the biggest difference I've found is that they genuinely care about helping your body heal from the inside out. While I've seen all 3 Dr.'s in this practice and they're all wonderful, my regular chiropractor, Dr. Oldenburg, is incredible. She never operates on autopilot, every appointment begins with a full assessment from head to toe, she remembers persistent pain points and continues working on those but also recognizes that life happens between appointments; and that level of thoroughness has made a huge difference in my care. Dr. Oldenburg, has also helped me understand not only what was happening with my body physically, but also how my body holds onto stress and the effects that it was having. Enter.... Dr. Wilder for applied kinesiology. Working with Dr. Wilder has opened my eyes to a completely different side of healing. We've focused on supporting my thyroid, adrenals, kidneys, liver, bowels, and uterus, improving drainage and giving my body the support it needed to function better as a whole. Another thing I appreciate is their gentle adjustment style. Having spent years receiving forceful "snap crackle pop" chiropractic adjustments, I personally believe those techniques contributed to ligament laxity and made it harder for my body to hold an adjustment. The gentle "activator" approach has been a much better fit for me, and I've noticed a significant difference. And then there's Massage Therapy. Amber and Sandy are phenomenal. I've had massages in A LOT of different places and even countries over the years, and these two ladies absolutely stand out. Their understanding of kinesiology and the body means every massage has purpose. It's therapeutic, intentional, and focused on helping you heal, not just helping you relax for an hour. It's also worth mentioning that this practice extends far beyond chiropractic care. Whether it's mycotoxin (mold) testing and detox support, the Healthy Kids Collective for parents pursuing a more holistic approach to pediatric care, or even the supplements and wellness products they carry, everything feels thoughtfully chosen. Nothing feels like it's there just to fill a shelf, It all supports the same mission of helping patients heal from the inside out. Finding a practice that looks at the whole person instead of a single symptom is rare these days. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I've received from everyone at Donohoe Chiropractic, and I recommend them every chance I get.

I was dealing with blood blisters, a poor latch, doubts and fears about supply, and a baby that was temporarily not gaining enough weight. As a first-time mom, it was extremely stressful, and there were many tears. However, Juliana's visits always left me feeling more informed, reassured, and capable. We also did a weighted feed during every visit, which confirmed that my baby was indeed getting enough to eat. I still remember the relief I felt when I learned that. Juliana is a big reason why I decided to stay the course with breastfeeding. (Thank goodness, because now I LOVE it.) My insurance covered the cost of the visits, so I just paid the $60 travel fee. I also attended her breastfeeding class with my husband before giving birth. This was super helpful, but I recommend taking the class within 1 month of your due date. We took it a bit too early in my pregnancy, and forgot a couple things by the time I gave birth. Overall, I would highly recommend booking a lactation consultation with Juliana if you're in need of support!

We left not only knowing what stroller we want, but with a big smile on our faces. Highly, highly recommend!

From ways to naturally induce labor, questions about certain pregnancy symptoms, and concerns about labor, she was there to help me to prepare for my upcoming labor and delivery of my son. Sheri was with me throughout my entire 33 hours of labor. She practically turned my labor room into a spa! With aromatherapy, LED candles, relaxing music and essential oils, she made my room so comfortable and serene! She tended to my needs during the entire labor. She used massage, imagery and breathing techniques to get me through every contraction and obstacle in labor. Her experience as a labor and delivery/postpartum nurse also helped to give me piece of mind since she also had the medical background and knowledge to understand everything going on between the medical professionals. She was able to explain to me things I didn't understand, offer suggestions, and be an advocate for me when it came to my nurses and the entire health care team. After the birth of my baby, Sheri continued to go above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She visited me at the hospital the day after the baby was born and brought me lactation cookies and padsicles (frozen maxi pads with aloe vera and witch hazel... AMAZING!!!), she visited me at my home when I was having issues with breastfeeding, and when I mentioned something about wanting to wear a Moby wrap, she told me she had some loner wraps and brought me one to my home. I could text her anytime of the day with a question or concern and she would respond very quickly. The only way I can truly describe Sheri is by saying she is seriously an angel. Her calm demeanor, her soothing voice, her graciousness, gentleness, sincerity, patience and love for her job make her someone you just want to be around, especially during this very intimate time in your life. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Sheri to anyone looking for a labor or postpartum doula. We don't know how we would have done it without her. She will be a special person in ours and our son's life forever.

After having 2 natural…read more(no meds) hospital births that were not pleasant experiences by any means, I wanted to have a home water birth. Steven made sure I had just that. I did the research and found the absolute BEST midwife I could have ever prayed for. From the very beginning of our journey Christina Sanders made us feel like family. She included everyone in all of the appts, let's just say my 3 year old, Stori, is now a midwife in training. Everything about her and the world of midwifery, let us know we made the perfect decision. It was a very special intimate experience. Though natural labor is excruciatingly painful, being in my own space with my husband and daughter Ahmyiah by my side, along with Christina and Kristen Rud (Midwife in training) it was so peaceful and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. There was less stress, less anxiety, no stupid intake questions that had been answered 100000x before, nobody making you feel incompetent, nobody barking orders. Instead, It was perfect lighting, soothing warm water, Christina reassuring me that I'm doing great and to simply let my body do what it is naturally designed to do, all while surrounded by nothing but love! It's hard to fully describe, just know that it exceeded all of my expectations and I am beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to take this journey with so much love. The postpartum care was unexpected and soooo needed. 1 Day after they came back to check on both of us, bringing me tea and food to assist in the recovery process. Tinctures and herbs to soothe discomfort. 1 week they were back checking on us and providing me with more yummy treats. They even prepared the most beautiful floral/herbal bath for Xo and I to share. It was magical. The GIFTS they made for us OMG if I was a cryer Id have been balling...A couple weeks later I had some weird wacky things going on with my skin, most likely had to do with my liver needing to heal. Christina jumped right in to help me find awesome natural soap for the weird rash and she gave me another tea to help my liver recover, it worked! 6 weeks postpartum we went back to the office for our final check. It was bittersweet, knowing our prenatal journey was over and that would be the last time I'd sit in that office as a pregnant mama. As of today, Xo is 5 months old. We still keep in contact, and always plan to. Christina and Kristen are two beautiful women with hearts of gold that we never knew we needed!!!
