She refused to tell me what a her standards for a mediun size dog were. Most places it's 25 - 45 or 50 lbs. she insisted I pay $60, a large dog price. I started to leave & she gave in. When I went to pick him up, she told me the next time would be $60 I took him in a second time & paid the $60. The third time I took him in, she charged me $65. nAt that point, Id had enough, No more, I found someone else who is true to their word & whose prices are reasonable.

First off, I can contact the front desk multiple times with no issues (you'd be surprised how hard that can be). The receptionist was always patient & helpful to answer my questions, even going back to ask the vet themself. Getting an appointment the next day or so was also simple. I had my dog's blood work, check-up, dental cleaning with sedation ($160), antibiotics, & other medications for under $700! I can't remember the exact price, but other places quoted $900+ WITHOUT antibiotics, tooth extractions, bloodwork, etc. My dog's teeth were very dirty & I was anticipating extractions, but to my surprise there were none! His teeth were as good as new after. I also got to call & check in on my senior dog the day of his cleaning & they were able to give me prompt updates. I'm so grateful to this place. I'm about to graduate medical school, so I have a background in medicine but I appreciated how the vet walked through my dog's lab work in simple terms that I think is accessible to many folks. In my experience, lots of vets seem to strong hand you into getting a lot of extras that can add up (& when you don't buy those extras, it leaves you feeling like you're making the wrong decision or being a bad pet owner). That wasn't the case here, I appreciated the vet's transparency when answering my questions regarding my pet's care & quality of life decisions. I also had my cat cremated here (during 2020 nonetheless). Overall, this place has helped me through some very stressful times.

Despite me having those records in hand the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. She claimed she had never been treated there and that there was no patient file opened for her. She refused to answer any of my questions gave me no helpful information and when I asked for the doctor's name she abruptly hung up on me. Her tone was cold, impatient and completely lacking any compassion as if she couldn't wait to get me off the phone. A veterinary clinic that cares for animals and their owners should at minimum show basic kindness and professionalism. This experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional

Scheduling, filling out the required paperwork, drop-off and pick-up were all seamless. When I picked my cat up this morning, the staff brought her out and gave me an update of what she'd been up to while I was away. My cat was purring and showed no distress at all. She's settled back in at home as if she hadn't been boarded. It's clear they took excellent care of her, and I will definitely use Waggin Tails Animal Inn again.

I dropped my baby off at 8:30am and was extremely nervous because she had never been groomed, and she's pretty assertive when it comes to being handled. Walked in and facility was very neat, smelled nice , and had curb appeal per usual. When I arrived to pick up my baby JENI DID AMAZING! I asked for a modified Scottie cut and Jeni Delivered. I was very cautious about who I…read morechose to groom my goldendoodle--he's not the easiest dog to handle, and I've always been protective about who works on him. I reached out to Sparkling Pets after my aunt recommended them, saying they did well with her doodle. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely upsetting. When the groomer returned my dog, he was actively bleeding from his ear. His face and coat were smeared with blood. The groomer told me it happened while brushing and claimed the bleeding would stop and then start again. She also admitted she couldn't get it to stop. I would assume a professional groomer would have the proper supplies on hand to handle situations like this. Instead, I had to apply cornstarch myself to stop the bleeding. Accidents can happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. The fact that she handed me a visibly bleeding dog and didn't seem to have a proper solution or show serious concern is deeply troubling. When you pay a professional, it's because you believe they'll treat your pet with the care and skill you would--or better. That was not the case here. Never again. I do not recommend Sparkling Pets to anyone who values their pet's well-being.
