I have been going to Hello Smooth for laser hair removal over the past year and my only regret is that I didn't go sooner. I am currently treating my full legs, underarms and my lady mustache. I am so pale (practically translucent) and my hair is dark brown that even when I would shave, you could still see the hairs on my legs. I used to be so embarrassed anytime someone touched my legs and would often get the comment- when's the last time you shaved? Little did they know I had shaved my legs TWICE. Now, I feel so much more confident and free. I can say yes to a last minute girls night and choose a mini skirt instead of sweating it out in jeans. I won't lie- it wasn't an entirely painless process, but Racquel is the best and works so fast that you have nothing to worry about. It was a little chaotic in the front because one of the girls that handed me the paper said that normally somebody else does this, it appears that One Med Spa and One Vein Clinic are the same business. While they have 2 different front doors, they are the same once you enter. They had a special going on and their signature facial that was $50. It was probably about 35 to 40 minutes total and since I just wanted to see how the place was. I went into the room which was decorated beautifully with a lit up faux tree on the wall and lovely wallpaper. The woman who did my facial gave me a wraparound and told me to take my shirt off as she massages your shoulders and then she left the room I laid on the bed and covered myself up with the blanket and she came in. She went to put on a one piece / connected head wrap (What is usually a hair wrap secured in place with velcro to avoid products in your hair) awkwardly over my head. I helped her by taking it and doing it myself as I had to pull over head. She explained that she was sorry, but the client before me had taken the hair wrap with her. I thought this was a bit odd as A) shouldn't they have more than one for sterilization purposes and B) this should be removed and undone before she walked out of the room. In my opinion, I think a facial should be soft, smooth and relaxing. She was fast and applied too much pressure and there was nothing relaxing about it. I had to ask her to please not use so much pressure (especially on my throat!) and avoid closing my nostrils when she was applying product as I breath through my nose. She did both once I asked. She was super nice. I don't remember her name, but I do know that there was a language barrier. I almost felt as if I was getting a facial at a teaching school. I am curious if whoever hired her had her do a facial prior to hiring I'm not sure how this works, but I feel that probably should be a prerequisite. Once she was done, she did not remove my hair wrap, and instead of waiting for me to leave, she walked back in. I had just finished getting dressed but normally they wait outside for you. I went to go pay and there was only 1 person there and she was helping another person. After about 8 minutes she had the Credit card machine for me to pay for my facial. Never did ask if I wanted to leave a tip on the charge, luckily I paid the lady when she walked back in in cash. I would most likely not come back

They had a couple couples room which is where we had our massages We got here early because I thought it was a tea house. Michelle in the front was super accommodating and said she would go see if our room was ready. Our room was ready so she said we could go in there and sit down and relax and enjoy our tea and goodies. I loved everything about this place from the vibe to the tea and desserts and friendliness of staff. If you make a 5 o'clock appointment, your massage doesn't start till 515 and it ends at 6:15 because they allow you 15 minutes to wind down and enjoy some tea They have monthly memberships and their prices are extremely fair I was supposed to have one girl give me a massage, but she had to leave early with an emergency and they gave me somebody else. The vibe, feel, idea, decor and staff friendliness would all be a five star rating. My husband says his massage was five stars. However, my massage was a one star. She pulled on my toes and my fingers and that was not pleasant, she massaged my scalp so hard that I got an Indian burn on my head from my hair and her fingers. She forgot my name, and I really just did not enjoy my massage. I really wanted to love this place as we were looking for a new place to do memberships. Unfortunately, we are doing our memberships for the next six months at another spa. Perhaps we might come back and give this place another try after our six month membership is up at the other place and I would request a different therapist.
