She is incredibly detail-oriented, and I've never left an appointment with missed patches or stray hairs. She always makes sure to get everything. Beyond that, she truly goes above and beyond to provide the best care. I tend to get a lot of ingrown hairs, and she's been so helpful in teaching me how to prevent and treat them at home. She also takes the time to address them during each appointment, which has made such a difference. She creates such a comfortable, welcoming environment and checks in throughout the appointment to make sure you're doing okay. Kelli took me to her workspace which was clean and peaceful. I explained that I had never done waxing and was relying on nose hair trimmers and my barber to do my eyebrows. I was nervous one about the pain and second ending up looking feminine. Kelli was kind patient and professional, she explained step by step what she would be doing and it really calmed me down and I never felt rushed. This made a huge difference in my first experience. We ended up doing wax for my nostrils and septum and sugaring paste (Which she told me is all natural and locally made), for my eyebrows. However, one thing I noticed was that she didn't wash or sanitize her hands first. She immediately put on gloves, checked my brows, and proceeded with the numbing cream. At the beginning the pain was tolerable but after about 30 minutes, I started feeling it more. I didn't say much at first because I could still handle it. However, the entire brow process took around 3 hours, and during that time I kept telling her it was very painful. I had asked her beforehand if the procedure was painless, and she said yes because she uses numbing cream but honestly, it didn't help much. I've been to three other artists before and was even able to sleep during my appointments. With her, I couldn't relax at all. After that, she started on my lips, which was even more painful and took another two hours. It hurt even more than my brows. At one point she said, "no pain, no gain." By then, I was exhausted and just wanted it to be over. She had to reapply numbing cream about five times. My lips became so numb afterward that it almost felt like I had lip filler because I couldn't feel anything at all. Overall, I'll give her credit because my brows turned out okay, but the experience itself was very difficult. I felt like she didn't really listen to my concerns and just continued doing things her way

I was in desperate need of some hair removal before a trip to Mexico. She was able to fit me in last minute, the room was clean and had good music and vibes. Considering how long it's been, the pain was manageable and off I went. I've had sugaring done at other places where quite a few hairs are left behind, and this was not the case here. Now my goal is to make regular appointments to keep up with it.
