Thin like paper

Flavor was ok but pizza was so paper thin u can see the sauce on back of pizza with no cheese n cost $22. I know you need to cut back cost but come on can I get some dough and cheese with my pizza.

I think I'm addicted to this place. Can't believe I've lived down the road and never knew of this hidden gem. Haven't had a pizza I didn't love!

What I got

This is what I got vs what was on the website. How dare they not even cook the substandard burrata? Where are the caramelized onion? I'm throwing it away. If this their "quality" imagine how bad the cleanliness is?

I tried the upside down Brooklyn pizza and was surprised when I received a behemoth of a pizza. The pizza was good and I enjoyed the sauce. The bread was airy and light even though it was thick. The garlic knots were good too but the pizza was the star. I would get the upside down pie again but maybe just a slice or if I'm with a large group. The menu has some other interesting items so I will try something different next time.

Floppy pizza

Pizza has a decent flavor but it is one of the floppiest/soggiest slices I've had. Has no crisp on the crust.

Proof special doesn't have exemptions or list of added costs

Scum of the earth and I recommend that everyone avoid this establishment going forward. Ordered the pasta special @ $19.99. Got my food all was fine. Today notice the charge changed from $27 to $43.01. Checked the receipt to see a half assed explanation that sides cost more when no where on their site or app does it specify that (see pics). No one called me, the delivery driver made no mention of this. Been a customer since they opened and have spent thousands of dollars over the years keeping these fucker's open. Needless to say I will never ever buy from you guys again. I will make sure the whole of the internet knows of this shady business practice and will be in touch with the BBB and chamber of commerce. I will also be filing a fraudulent charge claim with my bank. Absolutely despicable and uncalled for.

This place was recommended by a food critic on instagram and it did not disappoint. The restaurant looked clean in all of the pictures but I did not visit as I ordered it for delivery. The pizza came very quickly, looked amazing upon arrival, and the delivery driver was very nice. The pizza itself was amazing which I can't seem to find a lot of amazing pizza in Nj. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great pizzeria in the area.

We tried their bruschetta pizza and the Tuscany pizza. Both were excellent. Amano's is our new go to pizzeria.

The…read morerestaurant was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. They also have a pizzeria conveniently located right next door, which is a nice bonus. The service was outstanding--Alessandro was the best! He recommended his signature cocktail, the Orange Cosmopolitan, and all I can say is WOW. Perfectly made and dangerously good--they definitely sneak up on you! He checked in on us throughout the evening, always friendly and engaging, which truly elevated the experience. The food was just as impressive: Pollo Milanese - a perfectly cooked chicken cutlet topped with fresh mozzarella, arugula, cherry tomatoes, onions, shaved Parmesan, and a bright lemon vinaigrette. Pollo Carbonara - topped with prosciutto, spinach, peppers, and fontina cheese, served over penne pasta. Alaska Chicken (special) - stuffed chicken with shrimp, roasted tomatoes, spinach, and cheese in a rich cream sauce, served with saffron risotto. Absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared a toasted almond cake and a caramel cheesecake cone--paired with cappuccinos, of course. The perfect ending to a great meal. It was a wonderful evening shared with wonderful people, made even better by Alessandro's exceptional service. Highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be back to try more dishes!

The crust is light and crispy and so special. The margarita pie is killer, the Emiliano - with prosciutto, Arugola, truffle oil and Parmigiano Reggiano is the best pie in Old Bridge. They're an Italian restaurant with a good selection of dishes to meat various diets: salads, pastas, meat dishes, etc. The food was also pretty good, and service was fine. Better Italian food can be found in NJ, not too far away, but the location, quality and price point served our purposes. The servings are generous. I had the "Sunday Supper" (pasta served with red sauce, braciole, sausages, meatballs, and ribs), which I shared with my husband, and even so we had plenty to take home for another meal! I found the decor unusual in that there was a noticeable religious motif. In fact, a life size statue of the a Virgin Mary stood in the corner behind our table observing our little reunion. Odd for a restaurant, but it made for some fun comparing of notes afterwards.

The rice balls were made with black rice-quite a surprise when we cut into them! The pulpo was tender and excellent. Both appetizers were very good. If you are looking for spicy Fra Diavolo, I would suggest mentioning to the waiter you want some heat. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo was very good but not at all spicy. The mushroom risotto was very good as well. One of the specials was chicken cutlets with fresh tomatoes, olives, with a light sauce and topped with shaved mozzarella. This was served with roasted potatoes on the side, and it was excellent. The chicken was so flavorful and so tender you could cut it with a fork. Two of us had this special and it did not disappoint. We ended the night with coffee and two desserts. The creme brulee had a coffee flavor and was good. We also ordered a chocolate souffle, which definitely did not resemble anything close to a souffle. The flavor was fine but it flat, almost like a pancake. It was closer to a flatter molten lava cake. (Guess we should have been suspicious when we didn't have to wait extra time for the souffle.) Now for our main gripe. When one of us asked if the special chicken could be made without garlic (due to an allergy), the server said 'of course - nothing is impossible'. This was a lovely response to the request. However, when we received the check, there was a $4.00 charge for 'no garlic'. Really? We eat out in all sorts of restaurants from casual to very high end, and never have we ever seen this. This very small charge left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). For this reason we gave only three stars - nice ambiance inside and outdoor seating under a gazebo, pleasant, friendly service, and good food, but the extra charge for omitting an ingredient was very disappointing.

We came to this spot after learning it from Joe Rogans podcast. Thank goodness I listened and actually took this into consideration this time. The ambiance and decor is definitely something you wouldn't expect. You walk in and it feels like a restaurant in the Italian countryside. Rustic and classy at the time. Great spot for formal occasions and dates. Thanks to our amazing waitress (Carmen) recommendations and service for our meal were top tier. For our appetizers it was recommended that we split the Wagyu Meatballs, Caesar salad and prosciutto with burrata. For the second round, we split 2 pasta dishes. Red wine parpadelle with short braised short rib and spicy rigatoni. Both dishes were amazing, however I can whole heartedly say that the spicy rigatoni was the favorite. Only bad thing I can say is that I wish there was more. Even though we had more than enough food, we foolishly ordered. A third round for entree which comprised of Ribeye with complimentary roasted bone marrow, filet mignon, seared tuna steak and Pork chops. All the entrees were exceptional and cooked to perfection. Owner (Anthony) and manager Norman were gracious enough to check in on us, making sure everything was to our liking. The staff here were very hospitable and really made our first time experience a memorable one. Will definitely be coming back with the rest of my friends and family.

I came in on a weekday after 6 PM, and surprisingly, it was pretty empty. My friend and I started with the baked clams, grilled octopus, and poached pear salad. The poached pear salad was easily the star of the show, so good and definitely my favorite of everything we ordered. The baked clams came in second, while the grilled octopus unfortunately didn't do much for me. I just didn't love it.For my entrée, I went with the Money Bag- I read reviews where people said it was the best thing to get . It was good, but honestly, not anything that blew me away or made me think, "Okay, THIS is what everyone is talking about." We finished with the tiramisu and chocolate chip brownie explosion. The tiramisu was the clear winner for me. The brownie was fine, but again, nothing I'd be rushing back for. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried it and can officially cross it off my list, but I have to be honest, I don't really get the hype. Everything was decent, but nothing was amazing enough to make me want to come back. Maybe I went in with expectations that were too high, but for me, this was definitely a one and done... at least for now.
