She thinks that customers are a nuisance and if her eyes behind her little glasses could spit fire, I think she would do so. Heads up for anyone booking a drivers' exam, the online portal for drivers' license bookings says…read moreto arrive 30min before the test, with the earliest slot being 9:00, but the registry opens at 9:00. I arrived at 8:30am for my 9:00am slot. The email you get emphasizes the importance of punctuality. By following this direction, I was apparently needlessly early. Staff got there around 8:45, which was fine, but I think either the email or booking system needs to be adjusted--for example, the first slot could be placed at 9:15 or 9:30. This would probably be better for staff too. This created a sense of confusion before the test (wondering if they had received my booking or the test would make me late getting back to work), and also wasted my friend's time who had taken the time to get up early and come with me. I also got hit with an extra charge for using my credit card when renewing my registration on an earlier day. Staff/examiners are overall polite. I've lived in provinces where the registries are not privatized, and have found the service to be more organized with more transparent pricing.

Went there today to but a license plate for a vehicle I had just purchased, and now there is no lineup like there used to be, but was told to register and sit in the waiting room where people had been waiting for better than 20 minutes just to talk to someone. In my opinion, this location has reached bottom and has started to dig.

This place is an absolute joke for the class 6 motorcycle drivers tests. I'm 40 yrs old, have taken…read morethe Harley Davidson course, and been riding with others for the past 3 years for practice. My examiner today (who's name was not disclosed to me) failed me for driving too slow.... In a residential neighborhood... With children at play and vehicles parked on both sides of the street!!! The posted speed limit was 50 km an hour (excluding the free playground zones we went through) but as I am somebody with a child, I always am careful, no matter what vehicle I'm driving, when driving through residential areas. I maintained speeds between 30 and 40 km an hour, and the instructor tried to tell me that I was driving 25-28 km an hour. Impossible to even argue since I didn't have a chest camera on. He failed me on the premise of obstructing traffic, Even though he was driving three car lengths behind me and holding up traffic himself. I am absolutely astonished and would like to warn anyone going there for any type of road test to be wary, wear a camera, and be ready for the cash grab.

This is by far the BEST registry agent in all of Calgary!…read more They have seen me through many life events: I've renewed my drivers lisc., registered to get married, registries stuff for my first business (corporation), and registered my dream car here (the Mini S). When I sold the business I even came here to file the stuff with the province. I've been coming here for 7+ years. Let me tell you why this place is so awesome: - NO LINES! It's never busy, especially on weekends. - The people are really accommodating - they will even do a lot of my business stuff by fax. - No crazy people in line- they mostly deal with businesses (they are in an industrial park across from Road King) - Low prices (just as cheap as AMA Registries) - NO LINES! I mean I've never once waited more than 45 seconds. It's crazy! I think it's because of the location; no one thinks to go here except business owners who are severed by a separate counter for corporate registry.
