Awesome service, on time and efficient, and best of all, honest. Our kitchen faucet was leaky, he suggested for us to order a new one online, which we did. He came by to install and also gave us some tips on the care and maintenance of the disposal. Satisfied with the service we asked for a quote for another job at our relative's home. She was quoted $1000 to flush out the line by another plumber but Ivan gave us a much more reasonable price. It's always great to find someone who's responsible and honest to work with. read more

I contacted Ivan for a clogged sink mid morning. It was a clog that was down the pipe underneath the floor and needed professional help. After the initial conversation, we traded texts with the details and he was able to come by a couple of hours later. Took care of the issue within 30 minutes. Easy to work with and very professional. read more

Hired this company to replace my water heater. This was after my insurance company said I had to replace it because it was 16 years old. I went and purchased a Rheem 50 gallon heater at Home Depot and hired Ivan to handle the installation. He did a great job. Put in new heavy duty valves. He recommended this since we were doing the installation and said it was worth doing at this time. So I went along with it. I'm glad I did. The water heater is working perfectly and he provided a very detailed invoice with picture of installation on his invoice that I submitted to my insurance company. Thank you very much Ivan! read more

Our regular plumber from here, Ivan, is fantastic. He's prompt responding to messages, shows up on time, and does great work, very efficiently. Also a great guy to deal with. If any tweaks need to be made after the fact, he does so ASAP. He goes above and beyond to do a good job. I'm very happy our landlord uses this plumbing company. read more

I have a running toilet that is driving me bonkers. Wasting water so I turned the key. Not going to wait for my landlord so no problem I will pay out of pocket. I went on Yelp to find a plumber that is near with great reviews so I found this one. I am a no nonsense straight shooter - tell me the price - be on time and do the work and all is good. Communication is key. Time is money right? Ivan (I assume Owner and the plumber) was polite when I called on a Sunday inquiring about his service and I told him I found him on yelp and loved the reviews. He told me wait until Monday as a Sunday emergency call would be $350. I said no problem. Monday 8am. He asked for pictures I sent him multiple to be thorough. He told me the prices. I'm thinking for a flapper - ok whatever. I'll pay just stop the water from running (btw I don't pay for water but helllllo the environment so that's why I turn the key) He was not at my apt at 8am and I didn't get a text or call so I text him asking him if he was still coming because I was missing work. Ivan stated yes he was running a little tardy (should have called buddy as a courtesy) No problem .... you can even park in one of my spaces because parking at my building is a challenge. He gets there tells me he doesn't have the piece will have to pick it up and he will see if he can come back same day if not we can arrange. I said no problem just let me know. That was Monday by Wed I sent him a text - see pictures with no reply. People want customers but get lazy when customers are throwing money right at them for a flapper. I mean $135-175 and I could change the whole Toilet for $250! What a disappointment. Maybe it wasn't a big enough job for him but a follow up would have been professional and accepted - no harm no foul. Everyone has the right to make money and take the jobs they want. But don't waste my time. So since he didn't give me his time .... and my toilet is still running .... I thought I would give Ivan 5 Mins of my time to write a negative review on the same place I found him. Best of luck in your business ! read more

I was in a jam with both showers and toilets not draining or flushing. And with an elderly mother at home I really needed help. Ivan arrived at my home an hour after we spoke on the phone. He was efficient, nice and explained everything. Thank you Ivan read more

Ivan is responsive and true to his commitments. He is very knowledgeable with tankless water heaters and general plumbing.

Called them up because I had a block in my plumbing that was causing issues in the tub and the toilet and they were overflowing. Ivan asked for details on the problem over the phone and gave me a price estimate based on what most likely needed to done. He said he would be at my house within an hour and arrived accordingly. He fixed the problem but I opted to have him also do a camera snake to be 100% sure the issue was resolved (he did not push this service on me, I insisted on it). All is well with the plumbing in my house now! Overall it was a punctual and very professionally handled experience. I'd definitely use this plumber again if I run into problems. read more

Do yourself a favor and find another plumber. When Ivan from AM Plumbing first came out to replace my water heater, I was satisfied with their service. Fast forward 6 months and an inspection on that unit's exhaust is needed in order to complete some roof work. I called Ivan to come out and do that. He looked everything over and noticed a few things that were not up to code. He told me he would fix them and complete the inspection. After nearly 3 weeks, I haven't heard back from him. This is his own work, his own installation, that is sub-par, doesn't meet code, and won't pass inspection. He knows it was his original responsibility to do this work properly and acknowledged he hadn't. Now he's ghosting me to avoid completing the work. Now I have to find another plumber to fix it and go after AM in court over damages and expenses. read more

Called on a Wednesday and spoke with Ivan. I asked for an estimate/consultation for my mom who wants to change out her old water heater. Ivan told me he could not have anyone go out to my mom's house until Friday (although she lives about a mile from the business location). I said, no problem since it's not an emergency. Ivan then asked me to text him my mother's contact information which I did. Ivan responded with an "ok thanks" so I know he got my message. Today is Monday (almost a week later) and still no call or visit to my mom...still waiting on that estimate. I will try my luck with another company. read more

Great job... I had no idea what was going on in my house. Ivan found a valve that had a mild leak. They demo my shower to get to the pipes but that was the only way. I would highly recommend them. Very organized and speak good English and Spanish. read more

Ivan was great. We have a house under contract and are on a tight timeline to get all inspections done prior to closing. There were 40+ year old pipes under the house that we needed to have inspected with a camera. Ivan was helpful and explained the process over the phone to me and was able to come do the inspection the very next day. He was punctual and professional and I will use his company again should I have any additional plumbing needs. read more

Called Ivan and he responded via text right away. I explained that I had a leak by a bathroom drain but I could not find the source. Ivan checked out the bathroom and recommended that he use a camera and snake the main line. He reported to me that there were several places where the pipe was clogged, and he got most of it out. After a few days the leak reappeared. I called Ivan and told him the problem, he told me he was in the middle of a job and would call me as soon as he was done. After not hearing from him at the end of the day I called him and left a voice message and a text. After getting no response, I called several times the next day and sent text messages. After getting no response it occurred to me that he was avoiding me. I texted him using a different phone like a new customer and he responded right away. I told him who I was and to not bother because I was calling another plumber. I called South End Plumbing and they found the problem in 10 minutes - a leaking shutoff valve under the sink. Problem solved at 1/3 what I paid Ivan. I also saw there were license issues in 2017 read more

We had a leak coming from our shower. We had several experts check it and they said that this was a problem that would require the bathtub removed, which would end up becoming a complete renovation of the bathroom. Robert Mills of AM South Plumbing came over and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it within a half hour. No need to remove the tub or have a costly renovation. I would recommend him to anyone that has any plumbing needs. read more
