Very unhappy with the way this guy does business. He quoted me $2100 which we agreed on and I paid half upfront. He had completed the exact same project for my neighbor who stated "Came out the next day and pulled a EZpermit from the City of Miami. Total cost was $2300." Upon entering my building the guy says he doesn't have a permit, didn't know he needed a permit, and I had to pay him an additional $650 for the permit. I said no. I can't afford that. We argue back and forth and he says he's going to charge me more if he has to leave and come back. Mind you, he already had $1,055 of my deposit so I would have lost that. I relentlessly said an absolutely not. The guy does the job anyway, says "I'm going the extra mile here. Hopefully you'll appreciate it in the end." Claims he's doing me a favor by charging me $50 less. So my $2100 original quote becomes $2675. He claims he didn't remember doing my Neighbors project continues with excuse and excuse why he is owed the extra money for the permit. This is BAD BUSINESS! Do not go to these people. I can't believe someone would do this and with a smile on their face. Pitiful. **Long story short-this business did not have the proper permit and then charged me an additional $565 for their own mistake. Period. Words and lengthy replies are merely word salad to try to justify the main problem; charging me $565 for your mistake. **Update: This guy has relentlessly called, messaged, and sent me lengthy voice notes stating how he "hopes he never has to work with a client like me again." Not only did I pay for this guys mistake but now I'm reminded of how his inappropriate male toxicity has been implemented to intimidate his clients in to paying for his unethical business practices. read more

I had a slow kitchen drain to the point where my washing machine would drain and the water would go halfway up my sink. I made a phone call to Daniel, and he explained the possibilities, what he could do, and what he could guarantee and what he could not. He gave me an accurate quote for the job and he stayed in constant communication for the appointment. I was extremely satisfied with that. Daniel came with his father and worked under my sink for an extended period of time using no small amount of physical effort. The amount of grease that came out of that drain was extensive and he took the time to extend the hose all the way in not once but twice. My picture does not do the job justice because I was shocked at the amount of grease that came out and I was a little distracted. We took pictures at the end, as he was scraping the inside of my pvc pipe that was going back in. This is not the first time I have called a different plumber to take care of this same problem. But this is the first time the job was so well done that when my washing machine drained I do not even hear the water going down the drain, no gurgling, and as an added bonus, it seems that the water was draining all the way back into the washing machine, which I wasn't even aware because the clothes are coming out almost dry after the spin cycle. I had a really bad clog in my kitchen sink and needed service ASAP. I called this company on a Sunday and Daniel answered the phone and was at my house the next day. Unfortunately my problem was more serious than he thought since my house was built in the late 80's and needed to redo the drain in my kitchen. His team came in the following day and was able to fix my problem and redo the plumbing. They did a great job making sure that not only my problem was resolved, but created a clean out access in the event if another clogged occurred, I had access without having to take anything apart to run a snake. So if the pipes in the ceiling that you can't see lead to the HVAC you will still be obligated to pay the $475 for the consult and they will explain that they can not work on pipes associated with the HVAC. Although he explained that my issue required a process of elimination for two showers, he could have troubleshooted in such a way that did not require two trips to Home Depot for parts-- which he said so himself. He essentially billed me twice for two "visits". I didn't have time to negotiate with him so I ate it. He did deduct some small number from the bill as a courtesy but it falls very short of the transparency and courtesy I expect.
