I felt like a second class citizen through this whole process. It felt like they did not give me the attention I deserved because I had a small wedding party. At my preview I was told my style could only be achieved through hair extensions agreeing to this as AM beauty is supposed to be the "experts", I felt like they pushed me into this decision. I don't feel like they listened to what I wanted even after I gave them plenty of detail and explained what I wanted in several emails. After purchasing two sets extensions AM still did not achieve the hairstyle I wanted on me but was able to on a new bride recently. This is after I expressed all of my hesitations in my many post preview emails. I was promised "Yes two sets will definitely help blend your natural hair without having to pull more hair back!" I think they do what they want instead of what you want. My wedding makeup (the bride) was so harsh and behind schedule. When asked "is it okay" when I'm already behind for my wedding what am I supposed to say?!? I will never get my wedding back and using AM beauty is a decision I will always regret. It is hard for me to even look at photos. Terrible experience. I recommend AM also follow up with brides post wedding in case they too feel reservations about coming forward. read more

Taylor with AM Beauty did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, as well as the hair and makeup for my two bridesmaids. I felt so beautiful! I don't wear makeup day to day, so it was important to me that the makeup look natural. She totally nailed it. We had some issues with the long-wear lashes at my makeup trial, but I got an eyelash lift before my wedding and I think that helped - the fake lashes were perfect on my wedding day. Megan performed microblading on my eyebrows and initially they looked good. About six months later, the color started to turn into a harsh orangey red. Two years+ later my eyebrows are still orange and have only partially faded away, and very unevenly. I just had my second removal session which is extremely painful and expensive. Megan is absolutely the BEST when it comes to wedding hair and makeup! I met with her 2 months before the wedding for my trial and knew right away I had made the right choice. From start to finish, she was so patient while listening to me describe what I had in mind. This was not a easy task since I don't typically wear a lot of makeup so I honestly couldn't even give her a clear idea of what I wanted. She still listened to me ramble on and gave me some great suggestions on what look would compliment me while giving me advice on how to take care of my skin so I'll look my best on my wedding day. Leading up to the day, she communicated with me regularly and gave me a clear schedule of what to expect on my wedding day. Updating my review as I've been seeing Annelise every two weeks for over three years now. Annelise is one of those people who just brightens your day as soon as you see them, she is relentlessly positive and encouraging to her clients and I always leave her studio glowing from the inside first -- and outside second, though I do get compliments on my lashes and my skin every time I leave! I'm most impressed by Annelise's commitment to helping her clients maintain their treatments; recently I've increased the frequency of my facials because I've been battling some mask induced texture, Annelise asked me to send her a picture of every skin care product I owned following my last appointment and in return she designed me an AM/PM skin care routine to help me continue the progress is been making.
